Hi guys....sorry i havent been on lately...for some reason I haven't been getting messages through my email saying there have been posts to the thread. that's when I usually check it and reply sometimes...but lately I haven't gotten any. So I just decided to pop in.

Did someone say Flurries? Oh my! wish I had some flurries here. I miss getting snow all of the time. Here it just turns to slush all the time. I hate slush!

I've been doing awesome with the gallon a day. Granted I may struggle some days getting it down. There are some nights I dont finish it til 8 or 9pm. But I totally believe it's working! 2 weeks ago I lost 6 pounds at weigh in and this past weekend at weigh in I lost another 2. I'm excited!

I hope everyone else is doing just as well OP while they are keeping their busy lives afloat!

Jeff has been on some interviews. He is to start at Target, which is part time and he's not too excited about it. But hey, it brings money home. But he had an interview with a grocery store today and the liked what they saw on his application since he has experience in the grocery business. So hopefully he'll get something better there!

I have applied for a second job at a video store and i'm waiting to hear back from them. So we'll see. we've both been pretty busy or at least trying to stay busy especially with all the holidays coming up.

Alright, I'm gonna get going. I'll talk to you all soon. take care. Love ERica

Thumbs down

Hi owls,

I got moved, and everything is in it's place. Whew! What a relief! I am so glad to be back in my own home, and DD is so happy with the old house of grandma's. She and her DH are going to fix it up as they can afford it.

Candice I wish I had my yard winterized, too. It is in bad shape, with dead plants and leaves everywhere. As for the perrinels you replanted, just be sure they get enough water, and they should be okay. The meal you fixed for you son and d-i-l sounds so good! I like to use my crock pot, too.

Erica Way to go on the water and weight loss!! You have every right to be excited. Also, congrats on your hubby getting a job.

Freddie How's your health? I hope all of your tests came back okay. If you already said, I apologize. You are retired, right?

Better go, take care!

Default Hi Everyone,

Whoo, I finally got here. I am (as usual) not doing well OP, I really don't know what my problem is, just eating out of control I guess.

PJ, Hey girl hand in there I am up to 172.5, from 155.5, believe me I know how you are feeling right now. Just remember that we can all do this together. It seems you and I always seem to be going in the same direction at the same time. Let's turn this baby around and start heading down. I know how depressing the weight gain is and how horrible it makes you feel. I am still down 48.5lbs from my highest weight but I feel incredibly horrible. My clothes are too tight and I am very uncomfortable in my own skin. I am going to have to go out and buy bigger suits for work if I don't turn things around. I am going out to a 40th birthday party this weekend and I definitely have to go buy a bigger pair of jeans, they don't give like slacks do . Anyway, I am right there with you and as always here for you. Hang in there.

Erica, you sound like you are doing just wonderful. Somehow I lost that feeling and need to work at getting it back.

Candice, congrats to you. Don't you just love it when someone calls you thin?

Freddie, I will not be in Va Beach at Thanksgiving time, Janessa and the baby are coming up here. I can't wait to see the little tyke!!

Have a happy day everyone.

Brenda

Hey Freddie - Who you calling old????!!!!!!! heh-heh.......
I must admit......I've been working so PHYSICALLY hard these past couple of weeks.....I DO feel years older.
And Candice dear.....don't forget.....you'll ALWAYS be older than me.......heh-heh.....GOTCHA!!!!!! Seriously, I'm right there with you when it comes to the pain......especially with the cooler weather.
I actually had to BLANKET my horse last night!!!!!! I just "clipped" her and it dropped to 60 degrees last night....so I ran out and put it on her.

Brenda - Thanks buddy o mine! - You ARE always there for me and it's soooo funny the way things really DO happen at the same time for us. Remember the car accidents???? LOL
Well, gotta run..........work is beckoning me. I'll catch you all up on everything later......when I get a few minutes to MYSELF and not the horses........or my family.
Hugs to you all,
