So far so good for me today, just finished eating 2 fajitas for supper yum and still have 3 points left.

patricepeop how exciting about your trip. I have one planned in October with 3 friends to Maine for 10 days. This is my dream trip have always wanted to go there in the Fall and we are going to swing by Vermont too. I can't wait and I sure want to be thinner by then and more fit because we will be doing alot of walking.

Paula how did your day go with the grandaughters? Wow 3 bet they kept you hopping, the one kept me going all day. I think that book would do me some good, need all the help I can get.

Hi Jennifer thanks for the info.

momasita sure hope you are feeling better and that appetizer sounds delicious I will check it out. Let's all kick some booty!!

Stayc welcome we are all in this together.

GettingBackOnTrack I would hate to try on something I wore two years ago no way would it fit like you said all the more reason.

Have a wonderful and fun Friday night, my walking partner cancelled on me. I just need to get off my butt and walk by myself tonight just may do that.

I was wondering if I can join this group. I started doing ww.com 1/14 and has lost 25 pounds. In Feb I found out I was pregnant and a month later I had a miscarriage. I told myself that I wasn't going to gain back the weight that I had lost. This seems like a great group

Great thread!

I am about to weigh-in (in about an hour). I want to lose 35 pounds, but I need to lose 45 pounds. I am happy that I found this group.

Have a healthy, on point(s), on plan day!

WOW! Welcome to all the newcomers and what an honor to have one of the founders and resident experts (Jennifer) stop by. Please peek in often and offer your words of wisdom to help keep us motivated.

I went to my WW meeting this morning after missing the last two weeks. I was only down .25 but no complaint from me. It is better than the alternative and TOM crept up on me yesterday (yes, even at 51) so that always accounts for a few extra pounds. I have high hopes of a significant loss next week. I am sooooo psyched that I even stayed afterward for the orientation. Really didn’t learn anything I hadn’t already known but I do think the reinforcement is good. It has probably been a couple of years since I sat through one and it was worth the extra half hour out of my day.

I’m going to start implementing walking this week. This is my first major step towards some type of movement! My intent is to gradually introduce more intense exercise but going to take some baby steps and make this happen. One of our local parks has a walking trail. I’m not certain of the logistics put I have a pedometer and thought I would go check it out later today. On Mon. and Fri., I pick my granddaughter up and I go right by the park. I’m going to build this into my schedule so that I walk before I get her. As she gets a little older, I might go afterwards and push in the stroller.

Must scoot for now and get some much needed housecleaning done! Hope everyone has a great weekend and check in often. Part of the success of this support group is to be actively involved in participation. We are on this journey together and can learn from each other!

Hey Everyone!
Well This week-end was indulge week-end but I DID not go over my points!! I am so proud of myself. ABout 2 months ago when I was following WW, I kept not only busting my 24 points for the day but the 35 extra points I had as well (and this was within two days into the week). Now I only have tomorrow to go and I still have 11.5 points left that I can spend. This is all because I went to the gym this week!!

PBAUS- .25 is excellent! Tell yourself that is gets you closer to your goal and not further from it.

CANDLADY4- Try taking that walk alone even if its not for long, you'll see that you'll feel good. Tell us all about it when you do!

Hi everyone! I have read through the posts and have become inspired by you all. I am on the last leg of the weight loss portion of the plan and sometimes become exasperated. I have come a long way and WILL make it to goal/maintenence. I have a personal website you can look at my pics if you wish

I am 38, married, have two daughters and 5 ferrets. I am a programmer so I find myself sitting all day and have to make up for that at the gym several times a week. The exercise is wonderful and I feel wonderful. You guys are inspirational. My website is angie-wangie dot webhostzero dot com. I hope to be a leader one day when I make it to Lifetime!!!

Wow Angie: you have done a great job with your weight loss.

Just want to thank SassyCat for posting the wendie plan. I think I'm going to try it starting on Tue. That is the start of my week. I think it will really help me out.

Default Hello Again!

I just have to let you know how much I loved my first SHD on Wendie Plan. I planned it for Sat. because that seems to be my peak day. The best part....NO GUILT! I always felt guilty even if I used my Flex points because I was trying to stay under my points so I could lose. I can't remember who said it's not about what you do for one day but what you do for 7. I love it!!!!! That is my new motto!!!!! I tend to cheat and then give up!
I love all the posts!! It is great to see!!

Default Monday Weigh in.

Hello Ladies!

Sorry I havent been around. Weekends are tough for me to get on the computer especially when my husband is home He usually works Saturday morning from 4 am till 10 am. Ocassionally he doesn't. Plus her in New York it was a couple of beautiful day. So I was outside with the kids, doing some yard work and planning and preparing our gardens.

Today is weigh in day for me. I only lost 1 pound, but lost 2.075 inches.
This makes my weight loss at 17 lbs total. Love that Inch Loss though!

Yesterday was my SHD. So I guess I can not be too sad about 1 pound. I have to change my weigh in day. I have always done it on Mondays because this is the Beginning of my week. But I guess I can change it to Sundays.

Well I am going to go exercise now.

Talk to you all later!

Hey girls!

Well this is my 2nd week and I just went to the gym. I'm really proud. I lost weight (as you can see on my tracker) and it feels great.
SUNSHINE- 1 pound is amazing! you should see what 1 pound of fat looks like. Trust me, it's a lot of weight off of your body.

Keep it up girls!

Unhappy Motivation

HELP! I DESPERATELY need some motivation and words of wisdom. I've been gloomy for about a week now, unmotivated to stick to the plan, eating anything and everything, and I know that on Friday when I weigh in the scale is NOT going to be friendly.

Tips on how to work through this phase? I'm in a "Hate my Job", "Hate my body", "Hate everything" mode. What do you all do to get back on track and regain your focus?
