Default Back To Basics Week 3

Good morning Back to Basicers! Hope everyone had a great weekend and did not work too hard. Just a quick pass through to get a new thread started. I will check back later and spend more time catching up.

Wink I'm Back!!!

Savannah was awesome!!!!!!!!! I ate and drank and now we start all over again!!! I can't even begin to imagine the points!! Saw a cute shirt at Paula Deen's Lady and Son's....."Worth The Weight" I think she meant the food..but I tried to take it as me!! Didn't buy it though.

Ready to start counting. I am starting off my day with Special K.

Roxymom, where do you live? I live in Ottawa. About 45 minutes SE of Topeka. I saw you went to a meeting in Topeka.

Have a great week.. Boy this group has grown. It is great to see!

Default Back on the wagon

Good morning all. Kind of fell off the wagon this weekend...went out to dinner Saturday night with my hubbie and some friends...drank too much merlot and ate tooooo much fried calamari....don't even want to think about how may points that was! But...I'm back on track today. Got up early and did some weight lifting before work...and plan on getting on the treadmill tonight for at least 30 mins....need to work off some of my weekend calories. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning! Had a great weekend but not so good at watching points. I weighed it this morning and gained 1 pound. Oh well, this is a new week and I will do better!

Patrice - Glad you had a great time in Savannah. I love Paula Dean! I live in Great Bend - right in the middle of the state. We have three offices with the main office being in Topeka. Once a month we have staff meeting there.

Good Morning Everyone well actually it is afternoon.
I am very stressed the last couple of days. I have mostly stayed on plan but I didnt keep track of my points very closely. Also I have not drank enough water. I can really tell today.

I have to go have surgery on Wednesday. Not looking forward to that. I have to have a open lung biopsy. Will be in the hospital for 2 or 3 days. So I will post again tomorrow and then wont be back until next Sunday or Monday. Depends on how I feel and when I get home.

Everyone seems to be doing great! Keep up the great work!

Hello everyone! I had a great weekend! I went to our olocal Relay for Life event. i was the team captain this year for my team. Out of 10 of us we raise about $3500!

I ended up eating great on Friday and Saturday. I walked a total of 17 miles (and my knee feels AWFUL today!). Saturday night when it was over I went home, rented a movie and ordered chinese. After 17 miles it was SO worth it! It's been months since I've eaten chinese! Back on points Sunday and today. Weigh in is Wednesday, hopefully I will have lost and all will be right with the universe!

I love that I can go and have a treat once in a while. that's what makes this program worth it. Good job to everyone staying OP, it isn't always easy, but the end result is SO worth it!

Did ok aover the weekend as far as points, did not get my exercise in though. Did exercise M-F which is a big deal for me. Will get back on track this week.

Sunshine the best to you with up-coming surgery. Just concentrate on a speedy recovery.

Hi all

Did terrible over the weekend but it's a new day!!!!! I'm actually sitting here in a pair of shorts I couldn't get on for quite a while so I'm happy. It makes me want to go out and go for a walk which I will do after supper.

I was down 0.4 of a pound this week so that's 12.8 now. I'm happy about that also, I'm now 146.6 pounds. Yippee!!!!!!

Good Morning! Well I had a doctor's appointment this morning. The bad news is that their scale weighs me 15 pounds more than my scale. Good news is that I was down 5 pounds on her scale too!

I have been having a bad week. Just can't get motivated. I've been doing good on the exercise part but terrible on the points parts. I've got to get back on track. I know this but it's so hard to do it!

Had weigh in today. Ugh. Gained 2.2lbs. Here's my list of excuses:

Too much sodium
Chinese food (celebratory)
Red red wiiiine (celebratory as well)
walked 17 miles over the weekend ( my reason for celebration-maybe I gained muscle?)
morning lattes-thought they were ok, my body disagrees
I'm pre-menstral and bloated

Back OP, minus all the bad stuff from last week. Here's hoping!

I had a much better day yesterday. Now if I can make it through the holiday weekend it will be great. Have a wedding tomorrow night with house guests. So I probably won't get the exercise I need.

Arrgghh. I hate the number 180 lol. I lost about 56 lbs doing something other than WW and then I went up to 180 and then gained 8 lbs more lbs. and decided to do WW and the first week I lost 8 lbs. then gained 3 and well now I am stuck at 180 again. I dont know what it is. (I started WW 3 weeks ago) I guess my body likes 180 but I do not. Just thought I would vent a lil.

Congrats to everyone else on their losses though.
