Canada Day/Independence Day Challenge
Take your pick of a date, but join in on the challenge!
My personal goals are:
- walk 5 days each week
- do abs 3 times each week
- lose 3lbs by July 1 (not a lot, but it will get me down to 155.4!)
This is going to be tough, we have a week of holidays the end of June! Hopefully I can actually lose 5lbs, to allow me a little leaway on holidays!
What are your goals?

My goal is to be under 190 by July 1st.
Getting tired of being in the 90's. Seem stuck there.
So to get to my goal I will eat within range, drink water, exercise and REALLY plan for special events (that seem a constant thing)
Have a wedding on June 20th but will bank points ahead of time.
Good luck everyone!

Bandit2- Is your wedding on June 20 nearby? I plan to do alll those things you are doing too! Good luck getting out of the 90's-isn't it amazing the impact that #'s have on us!!
My short term goal is to still be at 158.4 next Tuesday at weigh in. I missed this week due to feeling crappy, but I have been eating like a maniac all week!
Today is the start of a new day, though, and this will be a good week!

Hi girls,
I have been reading your posts and I seem to fit in here. I have been doing ww at home on and off. I need help being consistent. I start but don't follow through.
I am off for the summer and want to start the next school year 20 lbs. lighter. I think my goal for independence day will be to walk with the girls m-f and get back into my points. Help keep me on top of this please!

Hello Ladies!
Though I would join in cause I think the week challenge really helped me. Today at WI I had lost 3.8#. I would like to be at 169 by July 4th. Thats only 5# but between now and then I have a weekend with my sister and a weekend of apartment shopping with the parents. So there will be lots of eating out.
Goals for this month:
Drink 56oz of water a day.
Callanetics 3 times a week.
Cardio 5 times a week.
Start every day out with a smile!
Good luck on your goals!

Welcome, Melanie! We will do our best to help keep you on track! How do you like teaching kindergarten? I did my internship at that level and had a blast! I would love to teach that grade-although right now I would be happy with any grade!
Ailee-Way to go! That is a great loss! Does hanging out with your sister throw you off? Doing anything with my sis or my family pretty much gaurantees me an off day!
I am going to concentrate on getting 25-30g of fibre in every day this week, along with my other goals! I have had a sort of flu/cold thing for the past two days, and it is really messing me up. I just don't feel like walking or even leaving the house!
Hope everyone has a great day and stays OP!!

Hi! I am new to this site. I can relate to all of you. I guess that means that I fit in here too! I would like to lose 5 lbs by June 27th. I am going to California! My cousin is getting married. My sister, Mother, Aunt and myself are going on a "girls trip". My mother and my aunt are both on WW. I thought that was great until they told me that they weren't worrying about WW while we are there! Great!! For myself.....I am going to eat carefully, and hope to stay the same, weight wise that week. I don't want food to be the focus of my week. I am going to relax and have fun! What is it about food that makes us focus our lives on it? I would love not to worry about when, where, what I am going to eat. That's my ultimate goal!

I am in for the fourth of july I am having a birhtday party for my daughter July 19th and I decided to have a beach party. For the life of me I don't know why. I guess I thought it would be fun but now I have to get in a suit in front of everyone.
Anyway my goal is to lose 5 pounds by then.
I will excercise at least 3 days a week
drink more water.

Welcome, DeeDee! A trip to California sounds like great inspiration to lose some weight!
Judmom- a beach party sounds like fun- and think of how great you'll feel when you lose those 5lbs!
Bandit2- Nice work, thats a great loss! Good motivation to stay OP for the weekend!
I am trying to up my fibre intake, it went good yesterday. Baby and I are still feeling a little under the weather, but hopefully we will get a walk in later today.
How is everyone planning to cope with the upcoming weekend???

I am working today. That helps me stay OP. I had someone call in sick!! Was planning to finally be able to plant some flowers. (it has rained every week-end since before Memorial Day!) I guess I can do that tomorrow.
I have to remember to drink, drink, drink that water!!!!

Hi all,
Saskiemom, I love teaching kindergarten! I am glad it is summer though so I can recharge my batteries.
I still haven't been very consistent with eating, however I have been consistent with eating. It's a start right?!? Goal for the week - stay within points.
Have a good week all!

Hello all!
I hope that everyone had a better OP weekend then I did. My sister came in Thursday night and until the time she left on Sunday I was way off. If Oklahoma had all the same resturaunts we have it wouldnt be so bad, but now everytime Heather or I come back we have to go to all our favorite eating spots. Not a good thing for the eating. I think I gained some weight back but it will be gone by the end of this week I hope. I'm going to hit the gym hard and be as strict on points as possible. Have a wonderful day ladies.

Hey everyone! I also had an off pts weekend, surprise-surprise! But I am back at it again today. Haven't weighed in in two weeks, so tomorrow is the big day. I think that I will have to pay #'s wise, but next week will be better!

Hi everyone:
Weekend not too bad, but not perfect. Went to Swiss Chalet on Fri - started off OK with the chicken/shrimp plate with veggies then ate the roll but bf ordered the garlic/cheese bread & I had 2 piece of that (which I didn't need). Rest of weekend was pretty good & I made the cheesey chicken casserole for Mon night.
Will have to wait til Thurs for my w/i. Been drinking all my water & walking to my tape.
Weather has been strange around here - sunny one minute then cloudy & cool the next.
Have a great OP day.
