I love doing Leslie's tapes I do the 2 ,3 and 4 mile tapes I am on a low
fat low carb diet so far Ive lost 8 pounds I have a long way to go but
since I started watching my food and walking I feel great and look foward to
walking every day I also use my treadmill try taking a walk with Leslie I think
you will like it I like doing different things so its not boring
I am having a pretty good week so far drinking my water and eatting lots
of veggies and fruits keep up the good work ill post my weight on Friday

Well its friday weight in day I didnt do good this week I didnt lose any
weight but I didnt gain any either I am the same as last week so that is a
good thing its not going to stop me I am going to keep walking
I am getting ready to go walking so maybe next week ill do better hope
everyone has a good weight in day ill check back later to see how

Well the scale didn't move this week but I've no doubt it's due to TOM. What a pain in the butt!! Four days straight of cramps is just about enough if you ask me!!! I'm still the same weight which is amazing to me cause I always go up a few lbs. due to TOM so I'm anticipating that it will go down over the next few days. Still running my tush off on the TM. Tunes definitely help keep me motivated and on beat. I set up playlists for warmups, walking, running, and cooldowns. It's great when I'm running and the songs change but are all keeping basically the same beat.

I weighed in - down 1 more pound. Total of 6! It looks like i've been hitting 2 pounds every week. I went to a Whole Foods Market yesterday and bought some healthy (but expensive) foods. Tried the whole wheat pasta for the first time and the whole family ate it. Not bad stuff. With a little marinara and some shrimp on top, it was really good! Bought some soy milk to try and some flax seed to add to my diet. Also I'm eating the heck out of those morningstar or boca burger/chicken patties. They are really good on an english muffin! I have a birthday party tomorrow for my 4 year old neice. Will try to steer clear of the cake and icecream! Hope theres not too much food there! How's everyone else doing?

I started WW again yesterday. I did it about 8 years ago with my mom, and we both lost about 30 lbs. At the time I was excited, but I was like, 13, so I didn't really care about losing weight and I hated getting up early to weigh in on saturday mornings! Pretty bad huh? :P We eventually stopped because my mom had surgery, and I didn't want to do it alone.
I'm super excited to do it again, and if anybody has any tips or wants/wants to be a *cheerleader* let me know

Its Monday and I did 45min. walking tape going to do 30 min. on treadmill
or walking tape eatting veggies and drinking lots of water so ive started my

Hi songbird, welcome. I'm also doing ww! Maybe we can share our favorite foods! I'm not big on cooking big elaborate meals, just really quick ones that are easy! How's it going so far? I got into a pair of pants today that were pretty tight on me before! yay! But I wanna be in a size 8! come on size 8! i'm in size 12 right now. got a ways to go. It helps having my coworkers on diets also. that way no one wants to eat out! Last night i had a grilled pork chop and brown rice for dinner. Total of 9 points. it was filling too.

It would be great to share menu ideas. I hate cooking Quick stuff is great for me too. I just tried this great lasanga (is that how you spell it? ) with turkey sausage last night. I was a vegetarian for close to 12 years, so I'm trying to ease back into poultry. Anyhoo, it makes 6 servings and it's 8 points. A little high, I know, but it's worth the treat
Congrats on the pants! I haven't had my weigh day yet, so I don't know how I'm doing. My jeans feel a little looser, but I know they're stretch denim Enegry seems up a bit though. Although I'm recovering from gallbladder surgery, so I still can't use up that energy.. Isn't that always the way!!

ooh, lasagna sounds great. I've been eating up the turkey too! Put ground turkey on a whole wheat pizza crust w/veggies and a little mozarella. I calculated it as 10 points which was a pretty high calculation, but i'd rather be high than too low. (they were mini pizza crusts). Tonite I will have tilapia fish grilled, with cooked cabbage and brown rice. (about 8 points total) I tend to leave most of my point available for dinners so that I can make something that my husband will at least like. I'm at 22 points a day.
Gallbladder surgery! Ouch....Hope your recovery has been easy! I've heard it can be rather painful.
I am debating on getting a digital scale. Right now I use the old timer with a dial. Not sure how accurate it is.
Are digital scales better? Does anyone know? Can anyone recommend a good one?

KC I have a sunbeam digital scale bought it at walmart a few years ago
it works good and its easy to read
Well tomorrow is weight in day I dont think I did good this week I am still
walking and still trying to eat healthy I dont know I am starting to feel down
but I will still keep going hope the scale starts moving soon

Don't get down Dusty! You'll get the weight off! Just give it a few more days! At least your exercising, I'm not. So one day soon you'll get that scale moving down! I think when it does move down, it'll be a good one! Hang in there! You can do it! We all have our down days, I do. Especially when my husband and daughter are eating Chinese, or hamburgers, or anything else I can't have! Do you have an incentive? Post it on your fridge! Think about it all the time! You'll get there! I eat a handful of walnuts when I get hungry and it curbs that sensation that I want to eat. It really works. Plus I'm just tired of looking the way I do. It's been a long time since my weight has been where it should be, and then when my daughter was born 2 years ago, I really packed it on. It's time I get my act together and lose the weight and feel better and be able to run around with my daughter and keep up! She is MY inspiration! I WILL make goal this year! You can too! Come on!
BTW, I'm down 7 pounds in January! Come on February!

Well I stepped on the scale and it didnt go down any I got really mad and
went for a walk with Leslie watp 45 min and 30 min did one this morning and
the other a little while ago I am going to walk 20 or 30 minutes before bed
Thank you KC for talking to me it really helps knowing we can help each
other its very hard to start all over and learn how to eat better and get
moving so we can be healthy I know I shouldnt get down I did lose 8pounds
I am very happy about that and KC you lost 7pounds so we are doing GREAT
I think I just need to move more and start eatting better ill do better next
week
KC go to the library they might have some work out dvds you can use see
if you like them before you buy

YaaaaaaaaaaY! Someone must've known it was my birthday yesterday, because I lost the first 2 pounds! It's such a great feeling. I can wear a bikini!! Well, maybe not quite yet, but I can dream :P
We had Mexican food tonight.. REALLY good, but too many points. Who knew a margarita was 5 points lol. It's a good thing I had a lot left over from the week.
It sounds like everyone is doing well. Even if the scale isn't moving at the moment, it'll start again. Don't forget your body doesnt want to change, so it will fight. Fight back, it will happen
