I'm still down only 8 lbs but I have been cheating
I'm in a comfort food zone with the snowstorms we've been having here. I need sunshine, Spring, and warm weather to motivate me!

Hi guys!
I'm at 10 pounds yeah! But..... this past weekend I blew it! We ate out 3 times.Friday it was Chick Filet, Saturday Chinese (I did have the diet plate), and Sunday Mexican (the whole enchilada too!) Margarita, cheese dip, chips, seafood enchiladas, rice, beans... should i go on! ugh! So needless to say this Friday will probably be a bust.
But.....ta da.... I am fixing to join Curves. I just cannot get my big butt on the treadmill at home. There is just no time. Unless its 4 a.m. and that ain't happening...But with curves i can go at my lunch hour and work out for 40 minutes, come back to work and eat my lunch at my desk. My boss is going to go with me too! Will probably join on Friday and start on monday. I hope to go 3 times per week. I need the other 2 days for errands and such.
I need another 5 pounds in march! For a total of 15. Gosh that sounds good. I hope i can get there. Have never really gone this far before. Maybe 12 lbs at the most. But, we'll see....
Keep on truckin' everyone....
KC

Wow KC it's funny you should mention curves..I was looking at Curves today too! I've had a gym membership for almost 4 years, and I've gone maybe 10 times. I've heard some good things about curves and I was thinking of going for a tour. Let me know what you think when you sign up.

I'm wondering how it works with their eating plan..Can you still go even if you don't follow their plan? WW is the only thing that has ever worked for me, so I don't want to give it up. If you get any answers about that can you tell me? Thanx

Hi
I tryed curves it was okay I really didnt feel like I was getting a work out
but I have always done walking and walking dvds using hand weights but my
friend who went with me she said she loved going she said she really felt the
work out so I would say try it any time you work out its a help
I just do my walking dvds twice a day I try and remember to put on my
pedometer to count my steps and try to keep adding steps as I go
Hope you all have a great day

Hey girlies!

I haven't seen much activity in here the last couple days, so I thought I'd break the silence

How is everyone? No changes again this week. At least I didn't gain anything!

I quit my gym today and joined curves. My gym was really awesome, but I'd only gone 19 times in like, 3 years, but I was still paying $30 a month.. The curves is about 3 mins from my house, so I don't think I'll be tempted to skip out. I can't get home without driving past it! Plus I like the idea of only going for 30 mins. I'm just so busy with full time school and two jobs. I barely have time for homework and sleep, let alone going to the gym for hours on end. I'll probably start at my other gym again once I'm a little fitter, plus, I can always drop in for the classes, right?

Ne hoo, take care you guyz! Have an awesome week

Well Songbird I too joined curves. I went last year too, but then my dad got fatally ill with cancer and I stopped going to spend as much extra time with him as I could. Anyhow, I joined back up. Its the only way I will exercise! I am sore already. I don't wanna weigh this Friday either cause I KNOW i gained. I ate pizza last night! 2 peices and a few wings! UGH! Bad bad bad. Oh well, live and learn. Back on the wagon!
Everyone feel free to chat, the more action the better!
Anyone read the Dr Oz book by any chance? Pretty interesting~
Somehow I need to incorporate some of his ideas in my diet!

Take care guys

Hello Ladies!!

Where is everyone?? I hope all is going well! I havent weighed myself in a week or so, so who knows. Last time I checked there was no movement, which I'm happy about lol No movement means no gain! YaaaaaaaaaaY!!

I had my first official workout at curves today. So far so good. The time goes by so quickly. I hope doing a workout in 30 mins isn't too good to be true, because I LOVE getting through it so fast.

Ne hoo, time to go to bed! Take care girlies!

Ladies!! Have we all left? Where is everyone?

I havent been doing so well lately lol. I've been going to curves when I can, but school and 2 jobs is taking its toll on me. I haven't been following the plan too well.

How is everyone else? I hope you're all doing better than I am

Goodluck!

Hi y'all
I'm here still going to curves. which i like by the way. Just makes me feel better! I can't say that I've lost any more weight, but I think I'm losing inches. Slowly. I stopped "really" dieting, but I'm not eating alot of junk either. I need to start dieting again, so I can start losing the weight too. I think working out makes me hungrier tho. It has been slow on this thread. I guess everyone is busy. Getting ready for Easter? Say NO to chocolate everyone!

Oh by the way, I think I gained back 3 pounds. Sigh!
