Way to go VickieLou!
I hope so, but my scale hasn't gone any lower and I've been up and down in fractions within the same pound for a few days. Just waiting on my body to cooperate with my hard work.

I'm official. Finally. After 10 days of being so good and stuck at 180.X, the scale finally moved in the right direction. By a hair, but I'll take it. I'm amazed how happy I was just to see a NEW 2/10ths of a pound come off, but finally seeing 170-something was wonderful.

179.9

I've been working hard on my health for over a month consistently, but the scale has been basically stuck for the last 3 weeks. I finally hit a new low this morning with a huge loss of 1/10th of a pound. At least it is a new low!

The positives for last week: I stayed on plan battling my urge to eat (and drink) out of boredom. I was excellent but only progressed to a new low of 178.6.
That did not stick but I consistently stayed under 180 and my trend line is still headed in the right direction.

Hip/waist measurements are still the same but I feel thinner (less bloated) and hopefully the exercise/lifting along with adequate protein is building muscle while replacing fat. If I can't have a nice scale then that is all I can hope for at this point. I do feel good and proud that I have made 7 full weeks of hanging in even with the disappointing daily weigh ins.

Carry on and stay strong!

Thanks VickieLou.

I was here through April and half of May with very little progress even though I was on plan consistently since mid March. I took a small break last week and got into some things that I tend to avoid so I'm back up again. Due to the quarantine and my Fitbit started acting wonky I put it away after 3 years of faithful wearing. I'm noticing that I don't just miss it, but I've become lazy without the push to move. I've kept up my lifting, but very little else. I had been on scale hiatus due to the frustration so I finally weighed today after being excellent for five days and was surprised to be up 5 lbs. So not only do I need to be good to maintain, but exercise, too I guess. No couch potato in my future it seems. I decided to officially weigh in next week so hopefully I'll be back in the thread...officially.

Thanks Shell. I'm sure you'll be here soon!

I hesitated to post an update with my weight so fickle. I'm also going on vacation soon and although I plan to be pretty good, I never know where I will land if I let my hair down for a day or two. I'm on Day 90 of on-plan-ness which is a record for me and for once I'm not planning a blow out binge. I just hope having adult beverages won't mess that plan up because I need a drink. Anyway, today I was shocked to see 170.4 on the scale. I won't even think about moving out of here until I can maintain that elusive 16X thru October.

ETA: 10/5: 169.9!

Looks like you're still going strong, KStrong!! Congratulations! I saw 179.2 this AM ... haven't been here since March so it feels good to finally have some movement. My goal is to be out of this thread come January 1, 2021!

Thanks Shell and congrats to you!
I headed into vacation strong but have had a setback into the 70's as I predicted. I'm hoping it is mostly water but I never know with my body. I have a feeling that I won't be departing this thread before December. And hopefully not in the wrong direction.
