I'm at 149.8 again today but I'm gonna wait until I'm at least a couple pounds into this decade before seeking out the 140s thread. I don't trust this as my new baseline yet. :D

After being at 149 a few days, I got sick. I'm taking antibiotics (almost done) and antihistimines (need to keep taking). My bump up could be from those. Im at 151.3 today. :sigh: I don't think I'll be back in the 140s by the end of this month. I'm gonna stay focused on good behaviors and keep faith that it'll be reflected on the scale eventually. :)

So looks like this thread is stuck with me for a while longer. :lol:

Hello everyone, new in this thread and 156 this morning.

After unexpectedly losing my job last year I gained nearly 20 pounds. At first I actually lost weight because for days I just couldn't bring myself to eat as I had a nervous breakdown.

Luckily, it didn't take me long to find a job and started work immediately but with a 3 hr commute. I have now moved closer to work and can walk 30 minutes to work. But during that time I was commuting I stopped working out and was eating out frequently, same during the move etc. This was also partly because I wasn't sleeping well until about two months ago as I was still processing the very negative circumstances of my job loss.

Anyway, now hoping to lose quickly :D My confidence has taken a hit recently as I was seeing this guy who now all of a sudden likes someone else and has said that he will get in a relationship with them soon, he asks me frequently about my workout and even once said he'd go to the gym with me, so I suspect my weight has put him off.

He still keeps in touch but I will keep him at a distance, he seems to still like me but wants to see if I lose the weight? Anyway, I want to lose the weight but certainly it won't be for him! Especially as he was dishonest in how things unraveled with this other girl while seeing me.

Here's to getting out of the 150s :carrot:

I forgot to weigh in this morning.

I'm feeling content that I am getting a good routine in again. I am now walking to work most of the time - it is a 30 minute walk. I just hope the fall doesn't bring too much rain. I break a sweat, and it's a regular pace walk, not fast at all, which shows how out of shape I am!

I started using my fitness tracker and it motivates me.

The only issue I have now is that my sleep is not so good. It has gotten better but I am still waking up too early, and it takes me hours to fall asleep. It's affecting my work, but I hope that it gets better as I lose the weight and incorporate more exercise into my days.

This morning I am 153.6!!! I ran yesterday (15K) and that obviously contributed to it.

Will take it easy today, and hope to see a 153.x tomorrow morning again.

Guy I mentioned in another post has now put photos on facebook with his new girl, ah feeling a bit down.

154.8 this morning. I can't believe how hard it is to lose just one pound...even after eliminating greasy take out from my diet! Anyway, gotta keep it up, and this morning I will hit the gym and try to run a 5k before work :D

We have similar stats, what is your strategy?

I think this a high weight on us and shouldn't be so difficult to get it off...I remember the last time I lost the weight, was doing 90 minutes walk almost everyday but did not pay too much attention to my diet, and that was enough to get down to 130!


This morning I was 154.8. Hoping to hit the gym today. Yesterday ran 5k in the morning.

happynottsgirl~ Thanks for the welcome! I am using Wonderslim products. I have been binge free for 27 days!
I lost a lot the first two weeks, mostly water weight, then stalled the third and then 1.3 the fourth.
I am not really doing too much exercise, problems with ankle and back at the moment. So we shall see.

I weigh myself once a week, usually Friday or Saturday (whichever day I feel the lightest!)

One day at a time. I just keep telling myself: "I am strong and I am able."

Have been going up and down and have to remember that weight loss is not linear. I would say today that I have lost two pounds, I even feel lighter - like as stomach feels less bloated and protruding.

At least I'm happy to have turned back the gaining trend and getting back to the low 150s. I wish I would have stopped the gain sooner, but was having lots of problems, particularly with sleep - which meant I was too tired all the time to go to the gym or to cook.

I ordered from my favorite mex restaurant last night, but instead of going for the usual quesadilla (which has like 3 lbs of cheese!!) I went for the chicken fajitas - comes with guacamole, sour cream, etc. but no cheese. They were delicious. Hope to hit the gym today.

I was 154.6 this morning, but I think should have been lower. Woke up starving at 4 am and had an eat natural bar and some milk. So I think that affected the number on the scale - I was expecting something a bit lower.

No gym over the weekend though :(

Didn't sleep well however, and it's been my experience that weight drops more when I sleep well. So I think I would have been in 153.x if I slept well.

Can't wait to be in the low 150s, and then the 140s. The 150s are really too much for me at my height :( It's been a struggle to get dressed to go to work, luckily the weather has not been bad here lately which would make it worse -like not much rain- which makes it easier to wear dresses. I am pear-shaped and short, so A-line dresses are the easiest thing to wear. Finding pants that don't make me look matronly at this weight is basically impossible.

Since I didn't sleep well - I'm not going to the gym this morning (plus need to get some things done at work urgently). Maybe in the evening I will some light exercise if I have any energy left.

happynotssgirl I am short, too. I know the frustration in finding clothes. I am pear- shaped, too, but have large calves and feel uncomfortable in dresses unless they are 3/4 length. I will be so happy to be out of these 150's! I only weigh in once a week...really trying for a good Saturday weigh in. I hope you had a better sleep last night!

happynottsgirl - I understand hectic weeks and not meeting a goal. I am glad to read you haven't let the slight delay get you down.

I have had a crazy 3 weeks! Too much travel and eating out. BUT - I am happy to report I am still in the 150s! When I got home yesterday I was sad to think I might have to go back with the 160 crew. I was 159.2 this morning, but I am giving it a few more days as often the added salt from restaurant food and flying tend to up weight that goes away in a day or two. (fingers crossed)

I am starting to notice my loss this week! I have gone from a size 16-18 to 12-14, so shopping in my closet has been fun. Air travel is better. Airplane seats don't feel so small anymore. I don't feel bad for the person who has to sit next to me now. If I drop something, I can easily bend down and pick it up.

I hope others are having a wonderful weekend.

well I'm finally back in this thread after quite a few months of being between 165 and 167 :( Granted, yesterday I was 159.6 and the day before 159.4, and today I've seen a small bounce up to 160 but that's not going to stop me from posting here :lol: I've been consistently in the 159 range for over a week and a half so I'm claiming it :D

It sucks to remember that 2 years ago I was almost out of this thread! I got down to 153 on a consistent basis, and did hit 150 a time or two. AND THEN...here I am. So of course I'm 2 years older and it's now that much harder to do!

I want to add that I'm currently in SBD phase 2 - although I did eat cheesecake the other night.

today's menu (planned)
breakfast - Trader Joes pecan pumpkin oatmeal
lunch - ground turkey w/garlic basil spaghetti sauce over zoodles
dinner - typical Sunday barbecue! DH will grill chicken breast, filet mignon, burgers, and pork chops - I'll probably have a pork chop and some steamed broccoli or asparagus
snacks - mini babybel light, Trader Joes root vegetable chips

I have a pumpkin cider to drink later...might only have half of it.

I hope everyone is doing well. I woke up to 155.8 this morning! I had a girls night out last night and had wine and a burger, so I was surprised to see a new low this morning. I have given up trying to predict and just keep to my eating plan more times than not and continue to ride 10-20 miles almost daily. This is probably the last shorts wearing week -- I need to find some long pants for riding!!!! burrrrr

nightowlrn yes I wear a size 10 in most pants. what are J. Jill? LOL my Lucky Brand jeans are all 10, and so are my Michael Kors slacks. It really just depends on the brand because some run small and some run big! I wear a 10 because sadly most of my size in in my butt! :lol: :rofl: needless to say most of my pants gap at the waist because I am pretty curvy. :D
