I went to the Dr. for my annual check-up today and I was 174-
But that was with clothes on... When I weigh myself in the am it's buck naked HAHA!
Had a good conversation with him about why it's so hard to lose weight at my age. He said it's metabolic syndrome, and actually called it a curse. He said the only way he knew to reverse it would be to work out 45 min 5 days a week at a high heart rate of 160 bpm.
I told him that's not a sustainable plan <<forever>> and he had to agree. Funny thing was, he is my age and is more overweight that I am
He said he probably exercised 20 minutes every 4 days. Slacker!
Bottom line, I like the guy: they don't know it all and some will actually admit it. I will continue on my journey and may look into Bio Identical Hormones and see if that helps. If our hormones are off, our metabolism just won't work properly.
I am still committed to getting into the 50's and will forge on!!!
