I like to have a sweet tea -- actually having one right now! Its called chocolate chili chai.. I think there are actually 1 or 2 mini chocolate chips in there and the drink tastes like dessert! Love it! I also am allowed 1 "freebie" per day on my diet (basically limited to 100 calories). Most of the time I use it up on ff sour cream, salsa or pasta sauce. But I will also add some honey or maple syrup to my food sometimes to sweeten things up. Or 70% dark chocolate. I am not obsessed with chocolate, so I can eat a little bit and be satisfied :) ... I am also noticing that my old favs (not Twinkies, but potato chips) don't have the same appeal as they used to. I just seem to remember them tasting better... now if I cheat on them, they don't taste as wonderful as I remember, and I'll usually feel sick after because I ate too much. Hope everyone is enjoying the day!! I've got 11cm of snow to shovel out of the driveway when I get home :( so I am not looking forward to that.... spring seems like it is months away... |
170.4 this morning. The rendez vous with the 160s failed. I guess it's because of my day y'day. Even though it wasn't a bad day, I wouldn't say it was a good day either.

170.1 for me today. I'm relieved though. I wanted to eat rice y'day and I did! I really thought it would be higher. Getting there slowly and getting reading to sing "adios amigos".

Apparently I am a fan of the 70's!! lol
I am giving up Chips/Crackers for lent! I know I shouldn't have chips anyways, but I do find myself slipping up... so I am cutting myself off completely. Crackers have turned into my fallback since I have restricted my chips intake since this diet began, so I know I binge on crackers, and they are not the best thing to do... So that's my sacrifice for the next 40 days... |

Still at 178.6 this morning, the scale won`t budge but taking my pics for my ''before'' I am sure I won't be here for long.

May I join? I have been bouncing around the mid to upper 170s since February. I need to light a fire under it, but between long work days and my husband's physical therapy appointments, I am having so much trouble finding time to exercise.
I did manage to do squats and lunges during commercials last night when watching Amazing Race, but didn't get to run. |

Congrats on getting some fitness in when you can :) You'll be outta here before you know it! ... so I had a big drop last night for my weigh-in... not sure where it came from, but I'll take it! I hope to ride the wave for the rest of the week, and be outta the 70's by the end of March! Also, I am two weeks away from being on my weight-loss journey for one year. I must admit the first half of year-one I was much more successful. I love being outside, and I am hoping that the winter/bad weather is my crutch. I go into hibernation mode during the cold months and it is hard for me to get motivated. If I can start of year 2 in the 160's I will be so happy!! So 5 more lbs!! |
This gurl is back to 170.4 this morning. Grateful. Hope to get rid of this 170s arghhhh!

Was at 176.8 today! This is so much motivation to just stay on plan. I can't even stomach the thought of eating anything bad right now, I'm so scared to gain back the little progress I made haha

6 lbs!! I can kill for that right now AlyssaFit4life!! Just 2 miserable pounds would send me to the 160's and yet they are stubbornly refusing to fall off. |
