When one door closes another one opens .... I finally dared to cruise this thread as I weighed in this morning at 179 :-) Looks like as all of your graduates move on, I am settling in for a nice visit :)
Congrats to everyone who has found so much success here! I look forward to passing through! |
OMG, 170 today!!! Praying it sticks around tomorrow. I'm a little sniffly so I don't think I can get in my usual workout routine, but hopefully a short walk or something!!

hhm6 You're leaving our circle soon. Congrats on that!!! Today it's a whooping 171.9 for ME (With TOM still in!)! YAY!!!:yay::yay::yay: |
177 ... so close to my next milestone of out of obese. But I am running now, more each week, and I think I am putting on some muscle. I am aso ifting weights, doing yoga, and other workout classes. I definitely look more toned ... even if the scale is moving slowly these days.

Eta my update! I saw 175 again but am 176.6 today. I looked over my weight loss history and am averaging 10 pounds every THREE months. Painfully slow but consistent. I finally started the weight lifting I had been thinking about for months, two weeks ago. Too soon to see if weight loss speeds up as a result. Fingers crossed! |
170 again today!!! I haven't been this weight since the end of last year!! I've got a nasty cold though, so no exercise until then, have to be really careful with calories.
Thanks thirty!!!! The 170s have NOT been nice to me, so I will really thankful if I get it off soon! |
Checking In
Hi all,
I started the insanity workout program last Saturday and today is my first rest day. I am so proud that I finished the first week of training and I didn't skip a beat. I really enjoy the workouts because I can do them at home and they are not too too bad. I've done my fair share of circuit training, and I must admit that I really do like the insanity workouts, the time seems to fly by. So, since I've been rocking the workouts, I convinced myself that it would be ok to eat off program... I had cookies, pizza, ribs, chocolate bars, a big cinnamon bun, a piece of fatty bacon and the list goes on... now that I am typing all the bad food I ate in the last week, I really feel embarrassed by how much I went overboard. So you are probably wondering what my weigh-in on Wednesday was like.... I went up 4 lbs... :( I was devastated. I heard somewhere that loosing weight is 70% what you eat, 20% how much exercise you do, and 10% genetics... I learned my lesson the hard way. I started a 2 day kick start program yesterday and will be weighing in again tonight. I want my work-outs to count for something... I want them to complement my diet and bring me strength. I am determined to finish the insanity program, and I need to find the same determination to eat on program. I hope that the 4 lb jump in the scale will always be in the back of my mind as a reminder. ... Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :) |
