Diana~ Thanks ... I feel really good with fruit and veg. It's the question of getting enough ripe fresh goodness. I have been going crazy over watermelon. I will be so sad when the season is over for them.

Good Morning!

Finally broke out of 138-141 range (barely)! This is the lowest I have weighed in over 10 years, so I'm pretty excited!

Unfortunately it won't last though, since TOM is coming. BUT, after TOM is when I have a monthly whoosh (2-3 days after, like clockwork), so I'm excited for that!

Today's Weight: 137.7 (down 1.1)
Yesterday's Calories: 1,220

I joined 3FC Thursday night. Yesterday was my first official day of my new efforts/program. Lost and gained many times over the years. This thread looks extremely supportive and motivating. I had started posting on another challenge board, with plans of posting meals and exercise, but that board doesn't appear to be very active.

Anyway my starting weight yesterday am 177.4, this morning weight 174.2 (woohoo! I know that's water weight, but I'll take it and use it for for all it's worth as motivation! My goal is to lose about 40 pds.

I'm working on following the Eat Clean diet program. Will be posting frequently to hold myself accountable.

Today M1: Microwave scrambled eggs, 1 egg, 2 egg whites, c of spinach, chopped red and yellow peppers, coffee

Plan to do a full body workout before noon on my GTS

Hey everyone! I'm going to just jump in here. I'm on my 9th day of working out every single day in a row (I'm going for 30 days)

Why did my weight go up this morning though? Please tell me it is muscle.

I've been staying within my calories and finding tons of protein. My goodness I've never been good at protein, but here I am, kicking it's butt. Go me.

I had a bottomless pit issue earlier today. After I ate my breakfast, I literally felt like I had not eaten a thing. My stomach literally felt empty. I don't have this very often, but it seems to come more often around TTOM. I am expecting TTOM any time now. I had to eat a larger lunch than normal. I literally had 5 servings of okra (a whole package) and 3 servings of diced tomatoes (whole can) and the Greek yogurt. I was finally full after all of that.

Tomorrow DH and I are going to a fondue restaurant. I wanted to do this for my birthday this year. My birthday is next week. The restaurant is in Myrtle Beach, so it's a 1 1/2 hour drive. We can't drive that far during the week, so we are going this weekend. Going to a fondue restaurant is on my bucket list. I can't wait and hope it's good.

Have you ever been to a fondu restaurant? They have a variety of cheeses to choose from for the appetizer. I'm torn between two. http://www.meltingpot.com/our-menu/cheese-fondue.aspx I think I am going to stick with the Traditional Swiss Cheese. I think DH would prefer the Cheddar Cheese.

goin4it, Jesserz, and The New G: Welcome to DA. We're happy to give support.

Diana: Definitely getting sick. It seems like my immune system is fighting it pretty well, but I have the feeling that its going to hit my harder tomorrow.

IanG: Fondue just sounds amazing to me. I've never had it. I'm a cheese addict though.

Thank you Diana3271 and Psychic for the welcome.

Diana3271- The Melting Pot is fabulous! Recently tried it on vacation in San Diego, yummy yummy! I highly recommend the spinach artichoke cheese for the appetizer. We had pork tenderloin, chicken breast and sirloin steak for the main course cooked in vegetable broth. All extremely good! Dessert was equally yummy, worth the splurge for a birthday.

Had lunch with my daughter at Three Sisters Mexican restaurant in Sacramento today. Very proud of my food choice. Told them I had special dietary needs, asked for romaine lettuce, grilled chicken and a little avocado with a light cucumber dressing on the side. I only used 2 tsp of dressing. It was yummy, passed up the chips and salsa! Water with lemon for my beverage.

Rotisserie chicken and asparagus for dinner. Didn't count calories today but I'm sure I'm under 1500.
