Had a great weigh in today :) I feel more comfortable in the 186's now! My goal for tomorrow (official weigh in) is to still see 187.0, as that's been the dreaded number for weeks. It's looking great- thank you, 30DS! I also measured today and have lost close to 4 inches this week! Yeah baby! I will document officially tomorrow, incase the water weight fairy comes to visit!

Blew it big time today. DH wanted to get seafood big time. Had fried clams and onion rings. Sooooooo bad. Then he wanted ice cream. So of course I blew it so why not. Orange Pineapple went down so easy. But, I did drink most of my water. :dizzy: Gosh sometimes it's so hard to stay focused. I think when I'm in a crappy mood I do this sort of thing. :?:

There is still tomorrow Snowtopper and I will be asking on Monday.

But glad you had a nice day.

I was able to drop those lbs I added from going too hard on the food last weekend plus a couple more:carrot:. Exercising regularly has been my saving grace. Hopefully I won't make too many bad decisions this weekend.

You decide to lose 10 pounds. Before you do anything else, think about your preferences. Do you jog at 6 a.m. every morning, even when the 30 degree weather turns your nose into frost? Or, do you shudder at the thought of getting up early and prefer to wrap yourself in a down comforter?

Your preferences towards exercise determine what you should do to lose weight. Let’s say you spend most of your leisure time sitting on the couch, reading a murder mystery. While you may not call yourself a “coach potato,” you do classify as an inactive person. Simply realizing this fact puts you one step forward to losing 10 pounds.

The next step involves deciding how to exercise, which is part of any good weight loss plan. Sure, going to the gym may be the first option that comes to your mind, but you have more choices. You may breathe a sigh of relief after reading the last line, since the gym may not be comfortable or convenient for you.

Other options to get more exercise can require more creativity, but the process is worth the extra effort. For instance, do you drive to the farmer’s market every weekend? Assuming it’s not too far, you might consider getting a cart and walking the distance

Maroukhane - really great post. I think there needs to be a very honest talk with yourself about what you do and the effect it has on your body. I also think that if you force yourself to do exercise you hate and when you hate it, you'll never succeed. I've done a lot of things thinking it was just what had to be done - waking up at 4 am to work out before work, or going to the YMCA after work (which I always hated). I think it's good to get outside your comfort zone when you can, but the thing that will provide lasting lifelong results is doing something that feels like a natural part of your routine.

Wow, down 2.4lbs today! Now, that's what I'm talking. I had a very active day yesterday mowing the lawn and tiling a bathroom I am building. Also really watched my portion sizes. I hope I have a good day today as well. I wonder if the loss will stick? I normally get a slight gain on Monday as I settle down so I very much doubt it will. But check back in tomorrow to see...
