I hope it's not too late to join. I need to get out of the 270s. Yesterday and today messed up my diet, but I"m still determined to get out of the 270s by May.

I want to join I'm a few days late but I'd like to try! When I was 150lbs I always said " if I was more over weight it would be easier to lose" boy was I wrong! I can't believe I ever l thought the heavier you re the easier weight should come off

There goes another 0.6 pounds! Happy Hour last night though. Resisted all bar food but quaffed three pints of IPA and one pint of Guinness. Could result in a stall or a slight gain tomorrow. So fingers crossed. Check in to find out...

Today I was thinking that I don't have a problem losing weight if I stick to my plan (WW). My problem is that I allow myself to go off plan, overeat and regain the weight.

I am staying 90% on plan (ate a few Semi Sweet Choc chips Bad bad bad) but I have had swollen feet all week. I do not know why. I drink 32 oz water and then 40oz tea everyday. Maybe I need to look at the sodium in my food or drown myself in more water.. One of those should work LOL

Starting 5 days late, time flies, I'd like to drop 10 lbs this month. I go SO CLOSE in March to meeting that goal. I need to lose 10 lbs this month to have any shot of making my birthday goal.

Starting weight: 317.0
Goal weight: 307.0

:hat: YES! 1.4 lbs away from not being obese anymore!!! And this is the lowest weigh in I have had since starting my weight loss journey! I was between 191 and 187 for almost 3 weeks, and perhaps today shows my body giving me a break!? We shall see! WOOOO HAPPY DANCE!!:hat: :hat: :hat: :hat:

Some really great work so far everyone! Even if the scale isn't treating you well (yet), just remember, it's only the 5th!!!!

That was a serious Whoosh LockItUp! Congrats!

I'm withdrawing from this.

Basically, I have around 20 lbs total to lose. Well, if I lose 10 lbs (or more) in a month, at my size, that's pretty much guaranteed to be muscle & water, rather than fat. I DO NOT want to lose LBM (lean body mass). I want this to be a pure fat loss, which is impossible at the rate required to lose 10 lbs in a month. This approach only works for people who are significantly overweight.

I'm afraid I got a little carried away and started to slip into old habits. This isn't how I want it to be. Quick & easy doesn't work for the last 20 lbs. I've decided to eat maintenance calories (1500) for my goal weight (115), maintain some regular, enjoyable activity, and just ride this thing out.

I need a new lifestyle, not a contest.

Cheers. :)
