Pluckypear I was screaming on the inside. Both my kids were young at the time. I didn't want to freak them out anymore than DH. We told them where we were going, but not why. Now we all laugh about one of my crazy ordeals...it really was funnier than it sounds, I swear.

I finished my week out with a 5.24mi walk. It was nice out this evening. The water is blue and the breeze was crisp. I really am blessed when it comes to places to walk. I wish the weather was like this all year round. Mmm, but then everyone would live here and I'd be crowded :S I'm bless, we'll leave it at that

Have a great night everyone

Hi Everyone! We just finished dinner. It's a lot later than normal. I know that won't sit well will the scale tomorrow. It will take a couple days to regulate, I'm sure.

Itsmyturn Oh, yes! I've got that stubborn streak in me, too. She better look out! Great job on your weigh in!

Mamakat Thank you so much for your post. Great job on the 5+ mile walk! Awesome!

Kathydee Did you have a good day, in spite of the cancelled diving plans?

Pluckypear Thank you very much. Your post about beer reminds me. I used to drink wine on a regular basis. Now I try to stay away from alcohol. I realized that it gives me the munchies. Last Summer, DH and I went to the Outer Banks, NC. We shared a tropical mixed drink at dinner. I got the worst case of the munchies. I ate 2 bread baskets (not the baskets, just the bread ), an appetizer, my large dinner, some of DH's dinner, my dessert, part of DH's dessert, then I stopped to get 2 more desserts on the way back to the hotel. OOPS!

Total Approx 1945 Calories +

The new meds seem to be working, for now, for my Mom. Hopefully they continue. My Mom was able to eat some and had a better day. I took her lunch and I had lunch from the same place. This was not normal for my lunch on Saturday. I try to keep my lunch calories lower because my dinner calories are normally higher. So, my calories were a little higher than they normally are on Saturday. Saturday is my higher calorie day, but I prefer to keep them lower than this.

Evening ladies, hope you had a nice day. I'm still a bit numb after the last conversation with my ex so ended up staying home and spending too much time on the computer. But did find my way out of the house by about 3pm and enjoyed a very beautiful beach that is also a turtle reserve. I just love the little land hermit crabs ;-).

Food was better but still not as good.

Bkfast
1/2 C granolia/ 1/4 c plain yogurt / papaya

Lunch
open faced tuna melt with one slice of cheese and tomatoes on whole wheat toast
mango yogurt lowfat milk smoothie (too much)

Pre work out snack
About 1/2 c of frozen mango chunks

Dinner
A large chicken (stirfried with no oil) and veggie salad.
Making a salad is a bit of work here here as every veggie must be soaked for 15 minutes in iodine water. So quite a treat (ate too much, but it's raw veggies)

1 beer for carbs

Work out: 3km run
1 hour in the gym chest/tri/shoulders - pumping iron
