Weight wise, I'd like to lose these last 9 lbs and learn to maintain once and for all.
Begin teaching exercise classes! I just became certified in November to be a Stroller Strides group fitness instructor and plan to begin teaching classes in March. This is both exciting and scary.
Cook more homemade dinners. My goal is to cook 4 a week. I want to use a lot less pre-packaged things like skillet meals, which are a staple at this point.
Quit smoking, start exercising, keep losing weight, get to goal and stay there, be a better mother, enjoy the little moments, and continue cutting haters out of my life.
I've never really made resolutions. But this year is different. I think just because I know I can do it. This year my resolutions are:
1. Stop drinking soda again for at least a few months
2. Amp up my gym routine (making it a solid 2 hours. Yowza!)
3. Cut back on sugar again. I've allowed alot of sugar back into my diet and it needs to go back out!

My plans for the New Year:
1) Start weight training, at least 2-3 times a week.
2) Bring my cardio up a notch, at least 4-5 days a week.
3) Take part in a marathon before the end of 2012.
My goal is to stick at it all year .. I've only really stuck at it for about half of the past year! I would love to get to my goal weight and I could if I was consistent!
I have several specific goals for this year, but I don't really think of them as New Year's Resolutions. They are goals I would have regardless.
My one real New Year's Resolution is resolving to keep fighting this year, no matter what. The pregnancy I have been hoping for and trying for these past two years may come over the next cycle or it may be a rough road the entire year, but no matter what happens I will not give in to the disappointment and let my weight or health slide, when I get down I will not stay down, and I will keep fighting until I am out of options.
Chickadee, that is a great attitude to have! I know how defeated trying to conceive can make you feel. It can be a struggle to not feel overcome by the sadness that can come along with it. Stay strong and you can do it!!
Mine is small but specific: be out the door within 5 minutes of my partner in the morning. I'm up at the same time but I'm always screwing around playing games on the ipad or checking work email (which can wait until I go in!) or doing something that just really doesn't need to get done. SO. I will get out the door within a few minutes, giving me at least an extra 30 minutes gym time, so I don't have to rush around like a maniac and can use the extra time or take my time getting ready. AND I won't have trouble finding parking at work.
I have a problem with punctuality mostly because my work hours are flexible. But working on this will give me health benefits also!
In conjunction with this, I resolve to making my lunches and packing my gym bag the day before instead of scrambling around like a nut (again...)
This is actually the first year, that January 1st wasn't the 1st day of my "new" diet.
This year I started eating reasonably before the New Year
I do think a lot about all the things I would like to achieve this year. And I think my biggest resolution is to get more organized. Second is to get physically active, but sadly I really really lack motivation for this one.
