Hi there!, Thank you for the invitation to join you!! I really need the help to stay on track! So....how MANY goals are we supposed to have in a week??? I guess my main goal is to stay in range of points. I have chosen WW.
I can't think of excersize right now....mostly cause its freezing outside and I'm too far from the Y. (good excuses hey?)
I really don't like to excersize.
Anyway, my name is Joy, and I would like to continue corresponding...Thanx again!

Angry Today is Monday-Goal Day

Hello Ladies, and welcome Joy,
There is no set number of goals to post, it's up to you.

My Goals:
To watch what I eat and get back on track.
To drink at 64oz. of water a day.
To cook ahead and plan for next week when I have school.

I think that is more than enough. I hate exercise too Joy, but we both know to be successful with this weight-loss thing we are going to have to fit exercise in. I know that Beth here on this thread has had great success with the Walking Away the Pounds videos. I have them too, but haven't tried them yet because I need to adjust the belt. Anyway I've heard it's a good option when it is cold. You could ask Beth about those tapes for more details. Just a thought.

I'll see you later ladies.

Hello all!
Welcome wannabme! As far as goal go do as many as you want!
As for me this week I think I just need to keep my momentum going. I am going to have to be creative with my eating. I usually have things on hand but this is a non grocery week and I am running low on supplies. Momentum has always been my biggest problem.
Well I am keeping it short today. Hope you all are having a good day! Its nice here. I may even get to walk outside at work! yeah!

My sister tells me, if she has very little in the fridge, she doesn't eat as much! I don't know about that.....I think I would just dig deep in the pantry...lol.

Hello All!

Today has been really tough. I think it has to do somewhat with the weather getting cold again and this whole war thing. I just woke up depressed. I am going to try to get out of this slump before the day is over. I did do my exercise today and eating has been good.

Wannabeme. I am with you I would raid the pantry. I liked to keep stocked on good items so I don't feel paniced. My dh tries to be so helpful. I asked him to get me yougurt. I told him fruit on the bottom but he did not understand that. He got some fruit ones which are great but he also got some of those cruch ones with the different candies you add in. Does he not get it that it defeats the purpose??? I feel bad if I tell him because he acts all disappointed. LOL!

Also about the Walk Away the Pounds. They are great. Actually Amanda it sounds like you have the one for abs. I don't have that one. I was thinking of getting it. My friend told me that 2 mile is harder than the two mile I have that used the weights. The great thing about them Wannabe is the 2 mile is only 30 minutes. You may have better luck than me without exercise but I have very little luck with out it. I find that I can give up that 30 minutes to do this tape. I sometimes even do it twice a day. But it has to be a priorty for me. Good Luck what ever you decide.

I guess I touched on exercise. I am not feeling board with what I am doing yet so I think I will keep it the same. I did give up on the toning for now though. I just found it to be to much on the days I do four miles. Oh well!

Hope the rest of you are well!

Hello All!
It looks like everyone is a little busy! Thats okay! I am posting now because I will be gone this weekend!

Long term goal for me is definately of course to keep it off! And tone up as much as possible! I would also like to take a trip somewhere exotic and where a swim suit. I won't day say bikini. I just don't think that is me fat or thin. LOL!

I have great news! I lost 3.75 at TOPS today! I may even surpass my goal that I wanted to reach by vacation. I just keep wanting to pinch myself to see if this is real!

I hope the rest of you are doing well! I will see you next week!

Angry Thursday-Long-term goal day

Hi ladies...
Sorry I haven't been around. I got stranded in Laramie, WY on Monday night and we just got back today. Anyway, I have a lot of long-term goals. My primary long term fitness goal is to learn how to rock climb. I've got a long way to go for that one since you can't do that with a belly hanging out there. LOL I just look forward to the day that I can try all the different sports I want to try. That's all for now. I have a lot of catching up to do since I lost 3 days.

See ya later

Arrow Friday-Frustrations and failures

Right now my biggest problem has been staying focused on my goal. I'm so busy and I don't have much time to myself so that sometimes it seems like I just don't have time to deal with this weightloss thing. That is very frustrating because I want to lose this weight, all of it by May of next year.

Bye ladies,

Arrow Friday-frustrations and failures

This is apropos for today, this is how I'm feeling. I'm working at the gym today and I can't muster the energy to do a workout myself. I can't get off the carbs, sugar or caffeine...I'm tired of saying can't. Going to concentrate on what I can do from now on.

Cool Sunday-Goal Results

I didn't make my goals at all. That snow storm at the beginning of the week botched me all up. I think I took on too much. I'm going to think about what I want to do for this weeks goals. I'm considering either joining WW or starting Body for Life. I haven't decided which. Ah well, I'll chat at you again soon ladies.

Bye

Hello All!

I made it back and had a very nice time! Glad to see you back Amanda! I heard about your big snow storm sorry it caused you so much problems! I know I said this before but maybe it bears repeating for others! ( I don't want to sound like I am harping on it) But TOPS is a great alternative to WW if you don't have the money which I didn't . Its not a plan and that may be hard for some but the camaride, challenges and just being accountable each week are major plusses. I think a little competition helps me at least. I mean I was never good at sports but when it came to other competitions like read the most books, or sell the most stuff for school. I always kicked butt! I guess that is why I like TOPS it keeps me motivated each week to try harder. Not to mention you guys to! Okay enough of my speel.

I must run It will be time for work shortly. Good luck all!
