~Lose 10 lbs by December 1st~
I was waiting for someone to start this thread this month so I could join...then I figured I'd start it!! Who's up for the challenge in November? :carrot:

I'm up for it! Yeah! I'm at 199(ish) now, so I want to be 189 by December 1! Good morning, November! I'll be seeing December 10 lbs thinner!

That would be me. This past month has been a rough one for me. I saw no loss. I didn't go off plan, but couldnt' exercise due to kids being sick, a UTI that made me gain 12 pounds in 5 days, getting a neck strain so that every move gave me a splitting headache, which meant dropping exercise for a few weeks.
BUT... everyone is health, the strain is better and I want to see the scale to move!!!!I should be able to lose ten considering I'm holding about 3 pounds of water weight on day one of November as TTOM started (which is why I see no loss for October - TTOM water weight gain)... but... that just gives me more motivation to stick with to shoot for 10 pounds lost for this month because it is POSSIBLE. Starting the month at 184.0 |

I'd like to be in. I'm really crazy-all-over weigh in wise lately, and I've hunkered down the past 2 weeks and it's not really showing as I would like it, but I'm going to keep going! I NEED to be at 199 by 12/23. It would be the best christmas present ever, lol... Being at 206 on 12/1 would surely help me along. Sigh.
I'm IN! Weigh in this morning: 218 (worked 17 hours yesterday and didnt have a workout... and i hold water like its my JOB, ugh.) My 12/1 goal is at LEAST 206. GO US!! |

I lost 13.6 in the Sept challenge and then 9.4 for October. So heck, yes, I'm in!! I'll go for the 10 but will be happy to make 8.4 which takes me to the Overweight BMI category.

I'm in as well- I loved having this thread to check in with! I'm not really sure what to put down as my starting weight though... three days ago I saw 237.6, and this morning I saw 241.8... I know its high because of a combination of offplan eating for the first time in two months this weekend, late TOM, and not getting nearly enough water. I guess I'll go with what I saw this morning- hopefully will keep me motivated if I lose it quickly!

I'm in too! October was my first challenge month, and I came in with 6 pounds lost after starting on the 5th. But I think I can do better this month!

im in too! think i weigh about 178 but will check in the morning and update. I really want to lose 9lbs by christmas to make me just over weight and not obese so ill have to push it.

I need some accountability this month too. SW: 176 GW: 166 I would be so happy to see any number in the 160's. This month is going to be interesting, a month of transition. My last day of work is this Friday and then my new job won't start until December 1st. Annnnnnnnd I am going to hawaii for vacation on the 15th for a week. Luckily, I have plenty of non work days this month to get in extra exercise to make up for the vacation. :) |
I'll go for it! I lost 17lbs in October so I'm setting myself up to expect a plateau, so I don't know if I'll get there. But I SURE am going to try!!!

Good morning! I think I'm supposed to weigh in weekly but I am one of those scale obsessed people that weighs daily. I was 148.2 this morning but I expect that it's a bit of lost water weight. I don't officially record my weight until Monday. Hopefully this weight sticks!

November 2nd!!! Day 2 of this months challenge! Today we will stay on plan remembering the family we will be seeing for the holidays, and how nice it will feel to buy a holiday out fit and feel good wearing it!! Take a minute to imagine how good it will feel to fit into that next size down. We should also try to do something active today because of how positive we feel afterwards! Okay, it might look scary if I seriously aim for 10 lb down, though that would be lovely. I think I'll "aim" for 10 even if I'm really going for 7ish :P

Been off track last month. So As of yesterday, I was perfect on plan! I am hoping to walk the line, and do a 9 lbs challenge for November.... I have been aiming on 10 lbs the last few months, and don't believe I've ever achieved it! So for this month I'm lowering my goal to 9 lbs, maybe a bit less stress, therefore, will be more achievable?? So here we go!

I weighed in at the gym last night at 169...a bit of a mental setback but I'm reminding myself it was the end of the day and the number will always fluctuate. Have to remember the good thing: I went to the gym!

I just started a fresh new lifestyle change and diet recently so this is perfect! SW Nov 1: 201.6 GW: 188 (Total goal: 140) [the 188 is an important number for me because it was previously the heaviest weight I had ever been before I ended up in the 200's] Quote:

Count me in for sure. I have had a horrible month because I tried and yet I only lost 2.2 pounds! Is extremely frustrating. So now my mother has helped me research plateaus and I am changing up my entire nutrition and fitness plan. So hopefully, this month I will lose 10 pounds. I have extra incentive because I am seeing my older brother in oregon over thanksgiving. I have not seen him in a year and a half... so I was about 245-255lbs then, and I really want to impress him.
So right now I am at 216. SW: 216 GW: 206 This would also put me on really good track to stay on target with my mini goal as noted in my signature, which is to be 199 by new years. |
