Hi girls

I just looked at the groups total loss...do you realise that when we have lost another 10lbs we will have lost me ...well what I weighed when I started...I'm sure we have already lost some people...not literally of course

Flumper I have been like you with not making the effort to do any exercise for a couple of weeks always using the excuse that I was working too late to get to the gym, but this week I have decided that no matter how tired I am after work I am still going to go on my way home.
Sunday morning at 9.30 I was there doing my 2 hour session and tonight on my way home I stopped in and did another hour and a half even though all I really wanted to do was get home and put my feet up for the evening. I really did have more energy when I came out, but for some strange reason, this morning when I woke up all my muscles were aching as though I hadn't been to the gym for weeks after yesterdays workout and I don't really know why, I thought they would loosen up after tonight but they are still a bit sore. I didn't do anything different to my normal routine so I don't know why I'm sore, but at least I know its doing some good...you know the saying no pain no gain...have to admit I'm with my hubby on this one...no pain...sounds great to us both

Well done TQ that's a fabulous loss.

Well done to other who are less than they were last week.

I lost 1/2lb tonight so that's no too bad.

Getting ready to go away now, on Friday I shall be on that metal bird flying to the sun :-)

When I come back I shall continue with this low carbing with just alittle tweaking I think.

Well done TQ another good loss your doing great

I am feeling pretty pleased with myself again today, even though I was exhausted after a long busy day at work I forced myself to go to the gym again on my way home...TOM made its appearance this afternoon, for a change it was bang on time, something I ma not used to So even though I was crampy and bloated I still did my full work out at the gym and I felt pretty good after it another reason I am feeling pleased with myself, I could so easily have used that as yet another excuse not to go...I am so glad I didn't

And well done to you too Jano.....I wish was boarding that metal bird with you on friday and flying off to the sun...I hope you have a great holiday, think of us all back here slaving away while your lying sunning yourself

well done TQ and JANO and to you also posy for doing the gym thing in spite of TOM......my DH got paid extra today so i have "borrowed" the extra and im going to get a swimsuit today no point putting it off........lol i might even get the guts to go swimming in it, but reading how well youse are all doing with the exercise is really spurning me on

just a wee thought on TOM this might seem daft to some but since i started losing weight ive noticed differneces in TOM ......does anyone know if its like with your heart you know when your carrying all the fat it crushes heart is it the same for the womb? and is this the reason TOM is different? i am slightly worried about this ..as ive always had heavy painful and regular TOM, and always been overweight............now im slimmer than beofre it is less heavy and painful.........is there a connection anywhere!

Kim - have you ever been to the doctor about your TOM?? Its just that the way you describe it sounds a lot like I used to feel and I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome).

One of the symptoms of PCOS is that it causes people to put on weight and makes it hard for them to lose it! One of the things they always tell you to do to help with the symptoms is to lose some weight - and it really does make a difference when you've got PCOS. Just a thought.....

Angry weigh in report

Hi everyone

well what a great week it has been. As you all know I worked hard this week making myself go to the gym after work when I was tired and again on wednesday even though TOM arrived and I really didn't feel like it. But all the hard work paid off...I was absolutely amazed to see I had lost another 3lbs when I weighed in today even though it is TOM time
That now means I have reached the final major mini goal I set for myself which was to reach 199lbs.
I still have my mini goals where I award myself a star for every 7lbs I lose but the last major goal I have to look forward to now is my final target weight that is now just 57lbs away.
I really do feel like I am on the last stretch now.
I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure I am not dreaming and I still can't quite believe I have lost 155lbs already.
As you can probably tell I am feeling on top of the world tonight
I still haven't thought about what I am going to give myself as a reward for reaching this goal, but I think I will have an early night now and think about it as I fall asleep

Have a great weekend everyone

Ali
