OK as requested...I started at 17.1
Now 16.7. Bearing in mind the scales have changed room, this may not be accurate.I'm keeping my fingers crossed. That way I can't eat so fast.

Default TOM

I really am beginning to think that my problem this wek is TOM. I have never suffered from this before and I can honestly say that it has never affected my weight so I don't exactly recognise the symptoms. Can anyone help. I feel absolutely bloated, my stomach feels so big and full like i've been eating for a week.

What dos that sound like to you - any advice on how to get shot of it. I have just done 15 mins on my tramp to try and shake it off!! HELP!

Ok here goes, my starting weight two weeks ago when I paid loads of money to join WW was 228 pounds, no stones here...and my maths is horrible...I probably don't want to know if the truth be known...first week lost 4 and half pounds so I was 223 1/2 and yesterday, just the half pound so now 223 lbs. Funny thing is, Don't know if I'm in denial or something, but I don't feel like I am this heavy...frightening to realise I am though...still, that's why I'm doing something about it

Default weigh in report

Hi Everyone

I had a fantastic week last week...TOM finally decided to make its appearance on thursday 2 weeks later than it should have been, but I wasn't that bothered about it even though I thought it would probably spoil weigh in, I have just been feeling so good with all I achieved last week

Weigh in yesterday really cheered me up
Despite TOM arriving on thursday I had still managed to lose 2lbs this week so I feel brilliant

Have a great weekend everyone

Ali

Lost 2lb this week, now 13st 8, yippppeeee!
Also managed to get into size 16 trousers with ease, the waistband was even a bit loose!
I have been eating a bit more than usual though, even allowing myself a couple of milk choc digestives as a late snack. And Im not saying what I had for dinner last night! But I have been walking to the tube station and back instead of getting the bus.

My goodness, I have been without a computer for 4 whole days, there are so many posts to catch up on.

I lost another 2.5 pounds this week so am very happy about that indeed.

Hello everyone.... isn't it hard to get enthusiastic about dieting in all this cold, wet, miserable weather???

Anyway - this week's weigh in is as follows:

Me: -1lb
Veggie: same
Ali: -2lb
ChiChi: -1lb
Melissa: -1lb
Carol: -3lbs
Jano: same
Janey: +4lbs {{{{{ hugs }}}}} - we have all been there
BritinNJ: -.5lbs
TopMonkey: -2lbs
Phoebe: -2.5lbs

This gives a total lost of 9lbs which brings our group loss up to 119.75lbs or 8st 7.75lbs!

As for me - my stats this week are :

Start Weight this time (02 Jan 02): 14st 10lbs
Current Weight: 13st 6lbs
Target Weight: 10st 7lbs
Total lost since 02/01: 18lbs
Remainder to be lost: 2st 13lbs
Current BMI: 29.4
Loss this week: 1lb

I don't feel like I am doing particularly well this week...

I basically 'allow' myself 1,000 cals a day plus on top of that I have half a pint of skimmed milk and all the vegetables and fruit I want (minimum 4 portions of each, but preferably more). It sounds a lot but all the fruit and veg are supposed to help reduce my blood pressure and keep it down - and it has helped do that a bit. I count the calories in bananas and other high calorie fruits like dried fruits though. The other things I do is walk a lot and drink plenty of water. I think that is where I have gone wrong over this weekend and which is possibly why I am not feeling very well/not feeling particularly good about myself today.
