Sarah,

Sorry its taken so long to reply - you may already have your rebounder by now but just thought i would let you know that i didn't have to pay P *& P on mine so it was just £10!

I think there must be a world shortage of rebounders, because the bidding for the two that are for sale has gone up to £21 plus P&P!!

I will just have to wait.....!

I GOT ONE!! I GOT ONE!!!!

Well.... almost..... its being delivered on Monday. I checked the Argos online website and they have got them in stock (finally) so I ordered one. It worked out cheaper than buying them in the auction on QXL. £17.95 plus £3.95 P&P.

well done Sarah, Your next challenge is to get the tapes!!! I have ordered mine from choices direct and they said they were in stock initially now it has changed to 'on order'

I think I might leave that challenge for a while.... I have managed to 'save' myself quite a lot of money just recently on QXL and eBay!!! Ooops!!!

Its going to be interesting explaining the rebounder... and of course then there's the Stephen King book.... the Star Trek videos.... the exercise video.... and the recipe book ... and.... and....!

I am SUCH a sucker for a bargain!

Default Well done Sarah

Glad you have got it at last.

I will try to get the book out to you this week - I still have your address

Just do some aerobic moves, like jacks, spotties, ski moves, just gemerally get your heat going ... it won't take long on a tramp.

Default Sarah Ann

On the urban rebounding video (which is supposed to be for beginners ) there is one exercise called the delayed jog. Jog as normal, but hold one raised knee in the air (mid motion) for a couple of seconds. Does that make sense almost like you are freezing in the air mid motion. Then jog normal and then do a 16 second intensive fast jog - jog normal again for about 30 seconds and then an intense jog for 16 seconds. If you can feel it in your bum then you know you are doing it right. When I do the video it's the longest 16 seconds of my life.

As Jano said do jumping jacks. You call also jump in the middle of the rebounding then jump forward, back to the middle and then jump backward (remaining on the rebounder - not the floor). Also hip flexers i.e twisting your hips to the left and right whilst bouncing.

I promise next time I do my video I will pay more attention and write you a more detailed account.

Hope this helps.

Its brilliant! I did just some basic jogging bouncing yesterday and really clocked up some calories - 200 in next to no time compared to walking.

Thanks for the exercises I am printing them out and will practice tomorrow - yippee - today is my day off from exercising thank goodness - really need a break this week.

I told you it was more effective than exercising on the ground!! does your pedometer tell you how many calories you've used up then?

These 200 cals, how much longer would it take to use them up if you were jogging on the ground? What is the equivalent??
