Smile Valentines Challenge

I kept waiting for someone to start a Christmas Challenge and no one did. So I guess it will be ok if I start a Challenge to end the week of Valentines day. That will give us all 7 weigh in's.
I am going to do my best to lose 12 pounds by Feb. 16th.
1-10-06.....Finally I'm down into the fiftys. I lost 2.25 pounds this week.
It's a new year with a new beginning so I want to get on with losing the extra weight.
Belle
Where I am now after nine months of belonging to Tops.

This scale is for the challenge.

I'll join in on the challenge, but I won't set an amount to lose. Whatever I lose will be okay.

Jan. 06...-.75

Jan. 13...-1.25

Jan. 20..-.75

Jan. 27..-.50

Feb. 03..-1.00

Feb. 10...-1.00 slow, but that's just fine with me. 5.25 lbs lost this year.

Feb. 17...-.50 I lost a total of 5.75 lbs during the challenge.

Feb.24...-.50

March 03...-2.00 A total of 8.25 lbs since the first of the year.

I'll join you too. I'll plan on 5-10 pounds lost by Valentines day. I'll use my last weigh in weight from last Wednesday of 185.75 as my starting weight.

I will join you too. I will also set my sites at 12 pounds starting at 168.

Okay, shortly I will get around to changing my ticker. It is out of date and you can see I gained holiday weight...sigh!

Thumbs down Valentines Challenge

Hi Belle... Havent seen you post in a long time. I dont know what happened at Christmas time, guess everyone is so busy with the holiday, the boards just got sidelined... Count me in.... I have a lot of work to do this year .....My weigh ins are on Mondays and we did vote to weigh in after the holidays but no meeting.. so I weigh in tomorrow nite. Starting weight of 238.. I have not set a goal though.... will do best I can!!!!

Jan 16.234...turtled .. I can live with that, I think my brakes are now
Jan 23...231..-3 finally... think I got it together
Jan 30...236...+5 I have no idea why I did this...

I would love to join this challenge also..great idea to keep us all motivated.... I have met a wonderful man about a month ago who happens to weigh LESS than me (hate when that happens -- so I would love to lose 10-12 pounds by 2/14. I am going to be on the exercise bike tomorrow and am determined to make significant lifestyle changes!!

Default Missed key words in Challenge!!

There was a key word in my challenge that some of you did not catch. If you noticed I'm having my last weigh in on the 16th of Feb. I had thought that the last weigh in of the week of Feb 14. Right now my weigh in will be on the 16th, but may have to change that because our group is having to move our meeting place and I'm hoping from Thursday to Tues. We've been meeting in the library for 15 years, but we are losing that place. One of our members has a sister that has a house in town that she holds DUI class's on Thursday nights and she says we can use it on Tuesdays at no cost to us. Can't ask for anything better than that. Already set up with table and chairs. We could have coffee. Just super great. Anyway give yourself the extra days if it falls that way during the week of 2-14.

Me too! Haven't done one in a long time and I really need to get back on track.

Jan 4 - Gain 1.75 [hadn't weighed in since 12/14] Gonna be better next week!
Jan 11 - LOST 1# WOO-HOO!!!!!!
Jan 18 - Gain .75
Jan 25 - Gain 2. As Regis would say, "I'm outta control"!!!!
Feb 1 - LOST 1#
Feb 8 - LOST 1/2#
Feb 15 - No weigh in. DD having surgury.

Well, it looks like I'm up 2#. Not good. How about another challange??????

Ok I am in. Maybe it will help. I am not setting a goal.Will just try to end up with some kind of loss.
Jan 5 +1 Not a very good start. Next week will be better
Jan 12 turtle A loss would have been better but this is better than a gain
Jan 19 -5.5# Isn't it grand
Jan26 -1.5 So far so good
Feb 2 Turtle It's not been a good week food wise
Feb 9 OOPs + 2# Looking for a good loss next week
Feb 16 -2.25# I think I ended up losing 6.25#

I have gained a few pounds since Christmas and my Birthday and HAVE to get them off to keep status I wont weigh in until the 11th on account of my daughters basketball practice Thursday night but I will try to lose 6 pounds before valentines day

January 12 th- Had basketball practice (didnt go)
January 19th- 151.75 (stayed the same)
January 26th-
February 2nd-
February 9th-
February 16th-

Smile I'm Up for this Challenge Too!!

As you can see from my weight ticker, I was a gainer over the holidays. I need to get back down where I was at end of Nov. and would really like to break into "Onederland" by the week of Feb 14th. That means count me in for 10 pounds.

I am joining TOPS locally and this challenge sounds like fun. I weighed in on Monday and so I will make that my weigh in day for the challenge. I am aiming for at least a 10 pound loss.
