Good morning everyone. I haven't been responding a lot in the last week, but at work i change jobs sometimes, and don't always have access to a computer, and last week was busy for me.
Eleni- I'm glad they found out that your thyroid wasn't working properly, maybe with the increase in meds it will help. I wished I was allergic to house work, i have a tendency just to be lazy, or working on other stuff.
Nita- I know what you mean about the hubby being allergic to it, mine is sometimes. He does help, when he wants to. Guess i can't complain, cuz i clean when i have to.
CC-it is so good to have you here. You can get that little bit of weight right off, in no time.
Sherri- how are you doing? I read your journal, didn't respond yet. Hang in there, it will work out. Focus on you, and dd, and remember prayers.
Kathy, Bev and Beth, glad you all stopped in, and are posting. Can't remember which one is working 2nd's, but that has gotta be a hard one. Specially with the little ones around. I've worked all 3 shifts one time or another in my life, and i would say that being single, and working 2nd's was fun. But being married and having the little guy, i don't think i would want any other shift but days, and sometimes, that one is hard.
To the one that's hubby left them. Not sure again which of you newbies it is. Nothing like that in life is ever easy, and having children adds to the stress. Thinking on your needs comes last, but remember the weight thing, getting that undercontrol will give you new life. Hang in there, do something for yourself, and remember he is the one losing out. You are awesome.
Christie-heard you are a totally stay at home mom. Congrats. I hope it all works out for you. I would love that, to an extent. Not sure if the house work would get done any faster, or if I would spend more time on this. I do have my dreams though. Someday, I will have a different job.
me- week filled. Took brandon to neurology appointment, not sure if i mentioned this to you all, but the Phenobarb isn't working well enough. We watched him for 3 months. When we went last Wed 1 week plus ago, to have blood drawn he had one. We are in the process of changing his medicine. This is fun. One week than blood drawn again. New medicine is pill form, trying to teach him to swallow. He is still on the phenobarb till we see the leave of the new medicine, and then we will slowly take away the phenobarb. Being on both medicine at the same time could make him unfunctional. Hasn't yet. Thank God. Although at night, with both of those meds, and the allergy medicine, he is out about 1 hour after. Fighting it though as usual.
We had our first slumberparty Friday night for our Tops ladies. It was fun. I went in early on Friday so i was up almost 24 hours by the time i went to bed Friday. We went walking, and shopping, something about women and malls (that's where we walked). Red Lobster for dinner, swimming, hot tub, games, popcorn, swimming at 11:00 at night, more games, made balloon animals (that was interesting), bed, breakfast, games, swimming, lunch was chinese buffett. Not all women went, not all women did all the things the same time, but it was awesome. Only 3 of us went to lunch the next day, we didn't want to leave the pool. My scale is up today, and I weigh in tomorrow, I have got to get more exercise in today. So not sure how much work will be done if any. I'm getting an attitude.
I hope everyone has a great day. Hand in Hand together we can.
