Default Monday 2-11

Good morning ladies. New week-new goals-still a new attitude. All is well so far here in Michigan. Not much going on, but really what could be going on at 5:30 in the morning. Went yestersday to see Mom and Dad's puppy, and boy is she a cutie. Minds well too. I think this type of dog is what we need. They (mom and dad) seem to be doning well with her. dad is teaching her to retrieve his stuff. Doing well at it also I might add. My husband on the other hand is allergic to dog, cats. But he wants one anyway. I'm for this one. I worked on my quilt yesterday, had a brownie yesterday (it was good). I had it with my no sugar icecream. What a combination. I'm looking forward to a good week this week. I know we can all do the things that we want. the FIRE WITHIN. Plus, I remember this thing in church. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. I don't think he just meant some he meant all. And those are the things I'm going to keep in mind. So with that: I hope all the ladies at this forum and all of them, continue to do the things they want, and get what they want in life. Hang in there we can do it. One day at a time, one meal at a time, one bite at a time, one leg lift, arm movements. You name it we can do it.

Hi Everyone
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine wasnt too bad. Took my hubby and son to a movie yesterday. I didn't want to see it. So I went to the grocery store. Then I bought a book and sat in the food court of the mall. I didn't eat anything. I had hazelnut coffee and read my book. After the movie we did eat. They have a new place there. It is called T & L hot dogs. I wanted a chicken salad. But Chic-fli was closed. So I got a chicken salad from the hot dog place. I was kinda proud of myself yesterday. I wasn't thinking about fries being on the salad. Cause at the chic-fli they dont put fries on. But anyway. The guy started to put the fries on. I stopped him. He asked are you sure. I said yes. But boy did them fries look good. Tomorrow night is my weigh in night. I hope I have a loss. It sounds as if everyone it staying on plan really well. There should be all kinds of losses this week. Wont the weight recorders be happy. Just think wont be long and everyone will have to go out and buy new clothes. I cant wait until that day. Well I better get off here. Took up enough of your ladies time. Hope everyone has a good night.

My day went great. I could have done very bad today and just gave in but I didn't. I was very hungry though. I did get my diabetes test today. But I couldn't eat beforehand. So I had to go right to work from there. I stopped at my mom's and dropped off megan and I took a pc of chicken parm leftover from the olive garden that my dad had. It was about a 2 oz. pc. that was my breakfast then off to work I went. I was going to stop at mcdonalds and get an egg mcmuffin but when I looked up the points for it last night it was 7 pts for 1 so I decided against that. I brought no money with me so I wouldn't stop. But boy was I hungry. Then I didn't get to eat lunch until 1:45 pm so that didn't help matters. So I stopped at home before going to my parents and grabbed my lite wheat bread the skinless turkey breast, low sodium ham and my 1 slice of FF cheese with the mustard and headed to their house to make my lunch. I did have some potato chips with my sandwich because I was so hungry but I figured it into my points. I had a total of 21 1/2 pts all day. Plus my 64 oz. of water and 25 min of a tonetics tape. So I did great. But it was not easy but I made myself do good and make great choices.
I am proud of you for telling them to not give you the fries. I know that took a lot on your part and I am sure you wanted them in the worst way. But you did great. It is things like that that is going to get us to goal. By sticking to our plan and not giving up no matter how hard it might be.
Great going for sitting in the food court and not eating either. That took a lot of strength. I am glad you really enjoyed your book. I am going to see if the library has it. Sounds interesting. I didn't have time to stop there today. I will call them this week about it though if I think of it again.

Sorry to hear that you are under the weather. At least being sick usually you don't overeat so that is one good point from all of it. But you need to get some rest and get over your sinus problem. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I love the fire within. I know that I have found my fire within and I did say a prayer in church on sunday to have god help me stay on track through the week. I need all the help I can get. Sounds like the Puppy is really making its self at home with your parents. That is great if it helps them. Maybe the puppy will take their minds off everything. You are doing great. I did send you the info you wanted. Let me know what you think.

Where are you girl? How have you been doing? I have been wondering about you. Are you working out with richard again yet?

Hi! I had a 2 pound gain this week. This is for three weeks. I will have that weight off!
