What a day/week..and it's only Wednesday! First of all, it is about 90+ degrees here, with 90% humidity...and stupid me forgot to get her allergy pills refilled! (I was so excited about the steroids being gone, I didn't even think about the allergy pills! ) Oh well...I'll stop and pick them up on the way home!
In addition to hot conditions, I am also a bit hot with the temper right now! Some days, I think I have the most self-centered, irritating staff on the planet!! One is on medical leave for the next 6 weeks, one is doing clinical hours a couple of mornings a week and supposedly making up the time missed (not!!) by not taking lunches, one has her head up her rear a good 90% of th eday, but has been here so long (40years) that there is no way I can get rid of her, one has been in and out (mostly out) the last two weeks as necessary because her daughter just had a baby, and then I have one student employee that works harder than all of them! With staffing issues like these, and a busy summer full of stuff, including vacations that they ALL want to take, I asked the one w/the new grandchild for her plans over the next few weeks (after being gone tomorrow and friday, of course) so that I could kinda plan ahead. What do I get? Attitude! Serious attitude...I get a "well, I need to use my time"...Know what I said?? And I quote:"You have a lot of GD nerve giving me an attitude like that, when I am only trying to plan ahead, so that you all can do the things you want/need to do!" She just shut up and didn't say anything else. So...does it sound like I crabby? I really am not, but I am just so tired of the selfishness-everyone wants what is coming to them and could care less about anything else...
So, I did take the last two steroids this morning We'll see what happens on Sunday when I weigh...
Robbin, I could not access this AM either-I automatically blame it on the IT at work, so I am glad to know it wasn't just me! How is the walking going??
Tina, I need gardening advice! I want to get 3 pots and plant flowers in them, for my patio...need suggestions on hearty flowers that can take a combo of shade and sun, that are low maintainence...I know marigolds, but do you have any other suggestions? As our resident landscaper/gardner, I figure you may have a suggestion???
Erin, GREAT job w/the elipitical...I have a long way to go to be coordinated enough for one of those! I'm sticking to the walking for the time being-I figure I'll get that down and then maybe go for something bigger! And, I never did answer your previous question- yes, I know where Hoffman Estates is-NW suburb of Chicago- about 45 min away from me! I used to have some friends in that area!
Cheryl, they sell some stuff here called "TSP" (I think?) that is a heavy-duty cleaner designed to get odors and stains out of walls, carpet, etc??? Many people I know have used it to clean their houses in similar situations, so maybe if it's by you, it may be worth a try?? Good Luck!!
Linda, .6lbs is certainly better that .0lbs!!! Every little bit counts!!
Louie-GOOD LUCK on the tests, and their outcomes! I work in Higher Ed, and always love to see people achieve their educational goals!!! Congrats!!!
Tricia- What a supportive husband you have...sounds like a keeper! Happy Early Birthday!!
Tracey-I don't know you well, but I had lost 40lbs and gained 30 back recently because of medications I was taking...I understand your pain all too well! Just jump back in and realize that you have done it before, so you know you can do it again!
Liza, hang in there and know that we are rooting you on!
Michelle- where is your smiling face dear?? That breakfast must have been something...
Oh well...almost time to get outta here...Have a great evening all!
Evening ladies!!! I started some of this this morning but then had same trouble as Robbin getting on! So may seem a little long but it really is two posts in one! I am doing okay, cravings are out the roof again and i am trying not to give in. So much going on getting ready for the furniture to come and i am exhausted all the time for some reason! Sounds like I am ready for VACATION!!!!
Linda - I know what you mean about getting into the kitchen too early - gets me every time. I have started reading smut novels again and that has helps take up some time when i feel the urge to eat. I succumbed some yesterday though. Fortunately is has not hurt the scale yet but my blood sugar was up a little. I am still within normal but had been down at or below 80 and now am back above 90. Oh well still way better than the 110-120 i had been running! Glad to hear you sent another .6 packing with the fairy fat mother!!! Every little bit counts!
Cheryl - good job on the walking!!! Have you used febreeze in your room yet? I love that stuff and have used it often to get rid of cigarette smoke. spray everything until it is slightly damp then open the room and turn on a fan. Has worked well for me. Good luck with weigh in! Hubby is starting to take packed lunches and the more he does the more i try to cook. Half the time i don't tell him all the substitutions i made, he just packs it up and takes it. The problem is sometimes he still goes out and then throws away the healthy stuff he packed!
Tina - the first time i got on the elliptical i lasted exactly 2 min and thought death would be kind at that point! I really do enjoy it now, scary huh? I know what you mean about being taught about good foods. We weren't really in the clean the plate group but we definitely mimicked what i saw my dad doing especially and he is a sweet tooth snacker. Since my kids are still pretty young i am hoping they will catch on to the healthy example i am trying to set now and i won't have ruined them for life! Both of them are thinner than i was at their age and it just seems they have a different body type all together. I am keeping my fingers crossed and trying to be a good example! So did you get all of your cleaning done? My floor to ceiling stuff usually comes with some re-arranging. If i'm going to move something to clean behind it why not put it somewhere else when i am done!
Tracey - Hang in there girl, you can do this. Oh and if you figure out why we keep doing this to ourselves please let me know so i can stop. I have been doing well but the urge to eat everything i see is getting stronger and stronger. I am coming up with more and more excuses as to why i don't have to exercise as well. It is a daily struggle, BUT WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!! Please come around more often and let the support of this group help you, i know it has done so much for you. Don't focus on the weight you have gained but the friendships you have made here and how they can help you through this!!!
Robbin - We have made several emergency room trips but only one for falling down the stairs and my son not wanting to walk on his leg but suddenly being cured when the doctor saw him and made mommy look like and idiot. we had lots of respiratory problems as infants and then we liked to eat things, like alcohol based hand sanitizer(have you ever seen a drunk 18 month old, rather entertaining) and my dad's prostate medication. Charcol stays in the poopy for about a week, just in case you wanted to know! Congrats on the ticker movement, must be nice to be solidly in the 230's now. Just think 220's are only 7 pound away! Is pizza hut offering a low carb pizza?? I have been dying for one, my whole wheat tortilla version just isn't cutting it anymore!
Ryanmi - Boy do i feel guilty now, I was one of those giving a little attitude myself yesterday about a vacation i requested 3 mos ago and my supervisor was trying to insinuate i may not be able to take. I came back with a you've known about this for a long time and I am going to PA and you can't stop me kind of comment. Maybe I should go appologize!! I can understand how being the boss and trying to make everything work for all the ungreatful people could get really frustrating! Cool you know where Hoffman estates is, i was there about 25 years ago so remember very little about it!
Louie - very challenging to WRITE an exam! hard enough just to take them! Good luck, i am sure you will do well. the relaxation will be so wonderful when it's time. Nothing better than a job completed to let yourself really relax.
Well girls the kids are literally riding circles around me and I need to do some paper work so that i can get to bed early again. Long day tomorrow. Catch ya in the AM!
Erin, don't you DARE apologize for wanting a vacation!! After giving someone 3mo notice, I think you are right! Unless someone in the office died (they didn't, did they), your boss is outta line, and needs to step in and pick up whatever the slack is that he/she thinks will occur while you are gone! That's his/her job!
My people are thoughtless as a general rule, not just limited to vacations...they also work the 8:32-4:58 workday though...and get upset when I cancel one casual friday a year. I'm soooo unreasonable!
Evening All...The fairy fat mother decided to visit others this week. I was up .3lbs, but it could of been more if I had caved in to stress which I didn't. I know that I will see her next week. Made it up to my room this afternoon and it's beginning to smell better in there. I got the rest of my kids pressed together, so tomorrow I can start putting them on the quilt.
Louie...Hope you sailed through your exams today.
Tina...Thanks for you kind words. It can be very rewarding, but also very stressfull. Congrats on the .5lbs.
Linda...So that fairy fat mother paid you a visit as well, nice she had room for your .6lbs as well. Could you please send her my way? Pretty please
Tracey...First, don't be angry with yourself. You are still here, determine to get fit and healthy. We are here for you, all stuggling for the same out come as you. Hang in there!!!!!!
Robbin...Thanks for the tip on the pet ordor. I'll have to see if WalMart has it.
Ryanmi...You have every right to be crabby!! I can't stand self-centered people. You might try geraniums for your pots. They are very hardy and come in many colors.
Erin...No, I haven't tried febreeze. I will look into it also. Some things I can't use because of my allergies.
Liza and Michelle...Hope you both had a good day.
Going to leave you gals with some phases we should say to ourselves every day.
Empowering Beliefs:
I am a winner
There is nothing I can't handle
Be free of guilt today
My possibilites are endless
My family will benefit from my healthy choices
Positive self-Talk:
I am the best friend I have
I am a capable human being
I love myself for who I am
I deserve to be fit
I am able to handle any problem I face
I WILL REACH MY GOAL
Affirmation:
I have accomplished harder challenges than this before
I have the abi,ity to reach my goals
I am responsible for my own feelings
Belief in myself is a step towards personal growth
Hope you write these down and when you feel down, or the weight just isn't dropping like you want, or you have cheated and feel bad, read them. Negitive thoughts will not help us to reach our goals, only possitive thoughts will.
Hey girlies, just popping in. I had a good day overall. I decided having two rounds of cardio on the treadmill today. I did 4 miles in all buring over 600 calories. I'm pretty proud of myself. Hopefully the fairy fat mother is too! ;D
Robin, I checked up the pizza hut site and looked at the different options of low fat pizza. Sounds yummy! I went to the canadian site and it doesn't specify for sure that it's available. I guess I could always call them. You want to hear something even more stupid than putting a sprinkler near the trampoline?? My cousins and I not only soaked it with water....WE PUT SOAP ON IT!!! Boy what idiot things we can do when we're kids. hahaha Good thing we all came out with our limbs still attached and our heads screwed on the right way. I think about it now and all I can do is shake my head and say that was too close for comfort!
Ryanmi, so I guess it really isn't all fun and games being the boss. Sorry you have to deal with such selfish people. Hopefully things start spiffing up around there and you don't have to pull your hair out. I really had to laugh at the comment of me being the resident gardener. I really only just try my best..I don't have a lot of experience in the area. But I will suggest something that I like for pots. If you really want something hardy...petunias, petunias, petunias! You can use an assortment of marigolds (orange and yellow) in the middle and get a purple wave petunia to fall over the edge. The orange and purple will be so striking. Petunias grow so thick and bountiful, just be sure to pick the spent blooms to encourage new growth. Hope that helps.
Erin, there is a sticky at the top of the forum page that says they had an outage due to a lightening strike. Hang in there girl. Those cravings can be the worst but you'll feel so much more better avoiding them. Hey, if you can turn down smores around the campfire you can avoid anything!! You do sound like you need a vacation, I hope the next two weeks are speedy so you're able to go enjoy yourself with your family in PA. I so get what you mean about being a good example for your kids. I fear my daughter will end up with the same issues as myself. I'll know for sure when she hits puberty, that's when I started to gain weight. By then I sure hope I have a handle of everything in this new lifestyle of mine. When is cleaning ever done!? LOL! I got a good hold of it, but still not quite to where I want it to be.
Cheryl, sorry the fairy fat mother didn't get a chance to visit you. Hang in there and she will be there shortly. Keep doing the good stuff! It's probably just a little fluctuation anyhow. I'd take it as maintenance, what's 0.3!!?? Thanks for the congrats btw. Love the positive self-talk phrases. They are so fitting. Thanks for sharing!
I'm going to do some ironing now. Hopefully make a good dent in the pile. Have a great night girls and I'll see you in the morning!
Good evening chicks! Hope you all had great days. I just got home from dinner with a girlfriend....with a to go box!!! I actually left enough on my plate to warrant her asking if I wanted to take it with me...and not only that...it was grilled fish and brown rice....rather than the hamburger and fries I eyed. haha
Well, I got my elliptical...but DH had to go out of town so he couldn't get it put together. I tried, but on the first bolt dropped the wrench down into the flywheel casing...hahaha...so now I'm going to wait on him to get home to get it out!
Robbin Thanks for the pizza tip...and sorry about the egg comment. It is pretty gross! I still eat them, though! Ouch on your son's finger getting slammed off in the bathroom door. I commend you for handling it...and remaining conscious!
Ryanmi I understand completely about your staff. Before DH and I got married a couple of years ago I was lab manager over 14 HORRIBLE women! I would put mine up against yours any day. It was the most miserable I've ever been...literally throwing up every day before work...Thank God I'm out of there!!! On the flowers, (even though I was "eavesdropping..hehe" I'd suggest either Geraniums or New Guinea Impatiens.
Cheryl Not that you need another cat pee tip but have you tried "Urine Gone"? Supposedly it works great.
Erin Thanks for your elliptical suggestions. I can't wait to try mine. I hope I can manage at least 3 minutes!
Linda Nice job on the downward scale momentum! Let's keep it going, huh? Way cool!
Tracey It seems like you've done the right thing in just jumping back on the wagon, though. I'm glad to see you here. I know that when it's getting hard for me to turn down a treat I come on here and read what these ladies are saying...and read the success stories...and my cravings really just go away. This is a great place to be!
Morning girlies! Hope ya'll are having a good start to the day! I am suffering from "so much to do don't know where to start" which usually means i eat so instead i am trying to type! I have really got to get some paperwork done but just don't feel like it!
Cheryl - good attitude!! .3 can be nothing more than a scale glitch difference in clothing etc! You are right, be proud that you didn't cave into the stress you've been under, don't know that i could have done that! Thanks for the words of affirmation, we all need those at times! How awsome that you can share them at a time when i would want to be sticking my head in the sand! You are an amazing woman Cheryl! Glad to hear the room is getting better!
Tina - go girl!!! 4 miles on the treadmill, i would die! You are definitely the exercise queen! Yeah vacation is well needed, i am counting the days to say the least. I dread puberty! my dughter already seems to have mood swings and i can't imagine how bad its going to get then! I was gaining my weight as a child long before then, so i am hopeful but she is already a carb lover and will eat only very few vegetables. I'm hoping that's one of the many phases of childhood and as she ages she will get a more varied diet.
Tricia - congrats on the good choices and eating less at dinner! Isn't it great when we do the right thing! Sorry hubby couldn't get the eliptical together before he left! It's lots of fun! I'm sure you will tackle the three minutes and add more to it before you know it!
Ryanmi - I think my boss's biggest problem is she's a nurse and I am a PT so she can't do what I do and has to beg and plead from others to get someone to do it for me, and of course everyones answer is no. But she is bad about waiting till the last minute to try to find help though. Anyway, like I said come **** or high water I am going, so she will just have to deal. I hope your staff will calm down and try to look at things from your perspective for a second or two. It can be so hard to put the shoe on the other foot and think about how others have to do things! Maybe you could have them do a little day in the life kind of thing and let them see how hard your job really is. Hang in there, just remember all though killing may seem like a good option at times, think about how good you'd look in an orange jumpsuit, always makes me stop!
Well girlies gotta run, i really do need to at least make the list of everything i want to get done or i'll never remember it all! Ya'll have a good one!
Hey ladies how is it going for you all? Good here, with not much to report. I am gonna be real busy today cause my receptionist is gone on vacation and my boss is at a convention. I will be answering phones all day and man do I hate to answer phones.
Ryanmi – LOL you ask how the walking is going LOL well I haven’t started it yet. I keep intending on walking but every evening things come up that take up my time and I just don’t get to it. However my husband is also out of town right now and will not be back until this Sunday (he has been gone 2 weeks). When he gets home it will take some of the stress off of me and I hopefully I will be able to fit it in.
Erin – First off I will give the advice Tina gave me when I was having bad cravings and was exhausted that really helped. Look at your calorie intake. Are you getting enough. Definitely do not go below 1200 and try to keep it around 1400. It sounded like a lot to me because I had cut back to 1100 and only 10 grams of fat, but when I upped it to about 1300 I feel much better, I am not having cravings like I was and I am still loosing. It sounds like you guys have had some interesting trips to the ER also. And yes Pizza Hut has Low Carb options.
Cheryl – How many kids are you putting on your quilt? I really wish you would take a picture of what you have so far so I can see it. I am very interested. I do not have very man crafty bones in my body but love quilts. I just wish I could make one that would stay together after going through the wash.
Tina – LOL yeah I understand about the stupid things we do as kids. When I was a teen living at home I would climb out my bedroom window, which was on the 2nd floor, and jump off the roof onto our trampoline. LOL I actually got onto my oldest boy the other day for jumping on the trampoline from out of the tree.
Tricia - I only remained conscious during the finger removal because I was not home at the time. I was at work and my husband was at home. But that was a long time ago. My oldest boy is now 12 and it happened when he was around 2 and my daughter was almost 4.
Good Morning, everybody . . . Nova Scotia weather is just about perfect today . . . it's sunny and pleasantly warm, but the humidity from yesterday has mostly blown away. Love it like this and wish I could share it with everybody . . . too bad the jet stream doesn't run that way.
Our local SPCA has a little program on the community TV station and I just saw two of the cutest tuxedo (black and white) kittens; little identical twins. I'm now working hard to convince myself that my house cannot handle two more cats. My friend who was here having coffee with me at the time is no help . . . she has 6 dogs and 1 cat and thinks 5 cats would be much better than only 3. Stay strong, Linda.
Picked up new glasses yesterday and they are driving me nuts. The right lens is great but the left is terrible . . . actually I think it is the blossoming cataract in the left eye that is causing most of the problems not the new perscription so I'm trying to put up with it until I see the opthamologist early next month . . . but right now it's like I've only got one properly funcioning eye and I feel a little lopsided, to say the least.
Tina . . . I'm glad the FFM took a little bit from you, too. Yep, soap and water on the trampoline would be really something.
Tracey . . . great attitude, girl. Stay strong and you'll be back on the downward path in no time.
Robbin . . . glad the FFM hit your place, too. Thanks for the update on Pizza Hut. I don't have one locally, but will have to keep it in mind for when I'm in a neighbourhood that does.
Ryanmi . . . sorry to hear about your heat wave (both kinds). Over my years in business, I supervised a lot of staff and only ever had one woman that drove me crazy with her attitude; all the rest were pretty great.
Erin . . . I had the same problems yesterday. Amazing how desperate you can feel when you can't get here for the morning's support fix, isn't it? BTW, I loved your advice to Rayanmi . . . unfortunately it might not have worked for me . . . orange is my favourite colour.
Cheryl . . . wow, girl, considering the stress you've been under, that .3 is a definite victory. Hopefully the FFM visits us all next week. Just keep doing all the good stuff, including that positive thinking, and you will be rewarded.
Tricia . . . great NSV at the restaurant So sorry, you couldn't get the elliptical together. The waiting must be horrible. Hope Mr. Fix-It will be home soon.
A great big Hi and a for everybody else, too.
Well, I'd better get something constructive done. Here's some to keep us all on the great downward trail, and I'm giving myself a little extra dose of to keep me away from the kitten store. Keep moving and shaking, gang . . . see you soon.
Here are a few little Supermarket tips for today . . .
. . . Don't buy frozen food if there are large ice-crystals on the package; it may have been thawed and refrozen . . . Never buy a jar that feels sticky; something has gone wrong somewhere . . . Foods on the lowest shelves are usually the least expensive . . . The highest profit items are found at eye level . . . The most popular items are usually found in the middle of the display area allotted to that kind of item . . . Always check the expiry date on perishable sale items.
Morning All...Thought I'd get a few post done before I head up to my rooom for awhile. Have to leave this morning to take FD to court and court is 1 1/2 hours away, so I'll be doing a lot of driving today.
Tina...Wow girl! I'm so impressed with you, 4 miles is awesome!
Tricia...Great job on bring home a to go box and making healthy choice for dinner, even though I'm sure the burger was whispering in your ear.
Erin...Thanks for your words of encouragement. Glad you liked the words of
affirmation. We are our own best friend, so we have to treat ourselves right.
Robbin...I think you were gone on your float trip when I posted a picture of the quilt the end of May. In Support Groups, go to Crafters Incorporated, page 13 to see it. I will have over 90 kids on it. If you lived closer to me, I'd be happy to teach you to quilt. You can always take a class at a quilt shop.
Well gang, those kids are not going to get on the quilt by themselves, so I best get busy before I have to go. Check back later and have a good one.
Nothing much to report this morning. Last exam to get through today and then I can officially relax for the summer.. well except that I have to go back to work and clean the house and and and.. LOL
Meowee ~ I am a tole painter. I have been painting for about 10 years, but have been on a hiatus for the past 2 years. I was actually looking through some magazines last night thinking I should pick my brushes up again now that I have some time. I find it very relaxing and rewarding. Congratulations on the visit from the Fairy Fat Mother !!!
Tina ~ readying your posts make me tired.. you have so much energy girl I am sure all your hard work will be rewarded by a visit from the Fairy FM. Your daughter must be looking forward to her last day of preschool today... although I would think that preschool is probably pretty fun!! I assume she is going on your trip with you ??
TeaHoney ~ a big for you. First off I give you much kudos for coming here and telling us that you had a gain. Alot of people would have just quit posting .. but not you. Some of us are just starting so you can enjoy the journey with us !!
Robbin ~ I am certainly hoping that all of this hard work will pay off in the end. I am in my mid 30s and I am already in middle management, so I know I needed the designation to be able to move up the ladder. Hopefully your day wasn't too busy with phones and congratulations on moving your ticker down !!!
Ryanmi ~ wow, my work sounds like a cake walk compared to what you are going through. We definately have those people that come to work and think that they should be given everything that they want but then ask them to do something and they give you attitude.. ARGGG they frustrate me too !!!! YEAH.. no more steroids !! I am sure you will have a great WI.
Erin ~ when does your vacation start ? It sounds like you are most deserving of it soon !!! I think in my attempt to clarify what I am doing at school that I confused things even more.. LOL When I said I was writing an exam I actually meant that I was taking an exam. Like you said taking it is hard enough.. I couldn't imagine writing one !!!
Cheryl ~ well done on maintaining this week.. 0.3lbs is nothing !! Love all of your quotes. At my desk at home I have a little stained glass angel hanging from my lamp that is holding a charm that says "You can do anything", it has definately been a source of encouragement while I have been studying.
Tricia ~ great job on eating out with your G.F. An excellent menu choice and leftovers WHOOHOOO !! Glad to hear that you got your elliptical, but too bad about the wrench. Hopefully hubby will be home soon to get it all together for you !! I didn't have an exam to write on Wednesday, I just had to do all the prep for the exam that I write today. It is a strategic business case so I had to do some background work and look into the industry (Fish Farming).
Michelle and Liza ~ hope all is well with both of you !!
It is great to see so many people posting and I hope I didn't miss anyone. Have a great day one and all and I will "see" ya soon
Well girls having to do a midday check in is kind of nice! I like seeing our group so active. Got a llittle scary there for a while!
Louie - vacation starts june 30, one week from Friday, 8 days and counting! Good luck on the exams, almost sounds like a lawyers exam with all the essays!
Cheryl - hope your drive went well, I always have to chuckle when i see you writing about "pressing kids" you can only imagine what images come to mind!
Linda - No more Kitties, no more kitties, well only if you really want to! It can be so hard to resist! A friend of mine had cataract surgery over the last few weeks, she is now able to see without her glasses and i am no longer afraid to let her wash my dishes! It was a little scary before!
Robbin - I have never counted calories and not sure i want to, i am afraid i may be eating too many! Sometimes i think the cravings come from eating too little carbs, hard to say. Could just be stress thing related to the activities of the last week or so!
Well i have been putting off the inevitable here for a while. I have got to get things cleaned out and ready to be moved. My brother in law in coming in the morning to help my husband and i have to have a detailed map of where everything goes and have it ready to move! Furniture is supposed to come between noon and 4 on saturday! I am getting really excited!!!!!!! Will probably just catch ya'll in the am. Moving the desk the computer is on is part of the re-arranging so will probably have to disconnet here shortly!
Hi ladies! Hope you're doing well. I've been out all day! As I was dropping Alyssa off at school I suddendly realized I didn't have gifts bought for the teachers..aacckk! So I spent the duration of the time she was in school to shop. I ended up buying tea cups and saucers (with nice spring flowers on them), a pretty pkg. of shortbread cookies (apparently directly from scotland) and coffee scented candles. I put some packets of gourmet cocoa in the cups from home seeing I don't allow myself them anymore. hehehe! Made a nice little arrangement out of it all and wrapped it cellaphane, ribbons and bows and thank you cards. I think that outta do it. Then while shopping with 1/2hr. till pick up I realized I was supposed to meet friends at the park for a picnic and didn't have time to rush home and pack, so I ended up buying Subway instead. 5gram of fat 6" on brown, grilled chicken sub with a side soup. I must say my water intake is suffering today. I gotta try to pick it up now. ANnnnndd after dinner I have to drive out to pick up my mother who wants to attend Alyssa's end of the year preschool picnic tomorrow. My day is packed!
Tricia, great job with your choices while eating out with your girlfriend. Awesome self-control. I used to have a heck of a time watching someone eating something like hamburger and fries that I would love to nibble on myself. But it does get easier with time when you realize your choice is actually going to enhance your healthy life style. I hope you're able to get your eliptical put together real soon, I know I would be itchen' too!
Erin, I actually got up at 6:15 AM this morning to do my walking. That's 15 mins. earlier than before. I think I was feeling a little too much like an exercise queen if you ask me cause I sure feel like I can use those extra 15 now! What kind of furniture are you getting? Living room, bedroom??
Robbin, it's too bad you can't enjoy the office all to yourself. Put the phones on voice mail and have a ciesta! LOL! I bet that is one story your son will never hear! I know there are things that I've done that I would never want Alyssa to hear either. Wouldn't want her to start justifying stupid things in her head...well, mom did it!
Linda, just remember cute little kittens grow up to be lovely big cats with attitude! Although, I would have a hard time resisting too! Let us know what you decide!
Cheryl, thanks! Have a safe trip and hope this court thing isn't something for being in trouble.
Louie, yes my daughter loves preschool. Who wouldn't love getting to sit around playing, painting, making crafts and listening to stories all day! LOL! And yes she is coming on our HK trip. She's very excited about visiting disney land over there. She doesn't even mention about seeing her family...it's all mickey, mickey, mickey! I would have to think taking on school and working and taking care of a house and husban takes a certain amount of energy too! I may not be as good as you..hehe!
Phewww..I think that's it! Have a great rest of your day ladies! I'll check back later!
