Good Morning All - Just checking in here. Cinnamon is supposed to be really good for you, I'll try sprinkling some in my coffee. I've been doing well tracking my points and journalling. Yesterday, I finally succombed to the severe sinus or serious cold symptoms. No exercise and lots of meds, still quite stopped up this morning. So, probably no walk today unless the meds get me up and moving.

We have 2 dogs, both live outside as we reside in the country. One is part border collie (stray puppy dumped who arrived at our place about 4 years ago) and the other is a collie/german shepherd mix that youngest dd adopted from the local shelter about 9 years ago. Both are super sweet dogs and are great company when I walk.

Diane, I had terrible problems last Fall and finally had an upper GI ultrasound as the Dr. thought it was my gallbladder. It wasn't, turned out to be IBS and since I've started on meds, it's been much better. Hope you get your problem figured out soon as I remember how I felt back then. Bummer!

Down 2 lbs this week! I was worried because yesterday we took my sister-in-law out for her b-day. I got a sandwich and NO FRIES (fruit instead). That was big for me! I LOVE fries!!! Now if I can just hold this over the weekend. Weekends are so bad for me. But I know I can do it!!!!

Have a good weekend!!

Would weight loss help with IBS?

Diane- Glad to hear your doing so well your first day back

adaem- WAY TO GO on both the weight loss and staying away from the fries. Staying away from those fries can be soooo hard GREAT JOB

Dee- I wish we lived in the country...my place used to be called the country until they started building all these houses out here. Went from NO neighbors but one about a block up the street to 5 houses (thats just my street) up this year alone

I have a HUGE headache today Think it was that stupid pizza I had yesterday....LOL just kidding

Still fighting a bad head cold here. I only take medicine, drink liquids and sleep a LOT. Yesterday was a nice day and I think today will be also so perhaps I'll feel like a short walk later. I need to get moving again!

Adaem, wtg on 2 lbs. gone!

Losing, our country is growing also. We've lived here almost 20 years and for years it was only us and 1 neighbor 1/2 mile away on our mile section. Last year, her grown son put in a modular home across the road from her house so now there are 3 of us on the mile section. The mile section west of us had no one living on it when we first moved here, now there are 2 homes on it. And, there are several new places on the road to our house that weren't there before.

Diane, how was your meeting?

I am having the cinnamon in my coffee this morning. Maybe it will help me feel better! Have a good day all!

Good morning ladies! I hope you are all doing great this a.m.! I am feeling motivated and energized today and that feels really good. I think the reduction in my meds is really helping alot, altho' I'm thinking I will need to switch all together, as I feel some things creeping up despite the energized mood I am having.

So, I have started using the transfirmer system. Holy moly, that thing is intense! Never did I know I possessed so many muscles, who knew they could all hurt at one time!! Even my hair hurt for 2 days after the first workout! If this thing doesn't blast away fat, nothing will, these moves are something else I tell ya. Darn those teeny-tiny little girls teaching me tho', them and there perfect hard bodies! If only!!!

We have rain today, LOTS of it!! Finally. We haven't had rain for like 140 days and that is pretty scary coming into summer soon. I'm just glad I've got no plans to head out anywhere, no fun when ya gotta drag 3 kids behind you. I plan on getting in some exercise and just cleaning house. Sounds like fun huh? Our work is never done, is it ladies? Gosh, what would our wonderful husbands/SO's do with out us?

Have a super day and keep shining!

Transfirmer, by The Firm. It uses 2 steps, one you can use at an incline. Put 'em both together and it makes a 14" step. I can't go up and down that high, too much for my knees right now. However I get plenty of effectiveness modifying it. It's a great system for toning and burning calories too!

I'm sorry you had a panic attack. I have anxiety disorder too so I know how that goes. Good for you for getting back to WW though, you will do awesome!
