Hello, Beach Babes!
I've been doing my best for the past two weeks and have managed to lose 4 lbs! I've just been watching portions and exercising daily. I think trying to eat strictly healthy foods while watching my family eat what they normally do was keeping me depressed and feeling deprived. I decided a few days ago that I was going to eat what I wanted for my meals, just less of it! I eat slowly and actually enjoy my meals instead of woofing it down like a starved animal.
Of course, I stay away from the sweets because I know I can't stop at just a little. I have no self control around chocolate, so if I need a fix, I eat a fudgesicle which only has 40 calories. The rest of the day, I'm drinking lots of water to keep me from feeling snacky. I chew a lot of gum, lol.
For exercise, I'm using a treadmill and an elliptical machine. I also lift some weights and do toning exercises. I love love love yoga.
I hope everyone else is finding success as well! The beach is coming, and so is less clothing, sunshine, and fun activities. We can do this, ladies!
