I'm the scale addict too. I get up, go to potty and then weigh myself naked a couple times. Except today, like fanatic, I weighed in 6-7-8 times, not quite sure. I was so thrilled to see my lovely scale show the number of 139.8, oh yeah, when I saw 139, it's like OMG, I did it (But for real, I'm still 140 since it's 0.8 lb.)

I weigh in daily. When I was out of town without my scale, I miss it so much and would rather come back home and WI immedietely. But after kind of hit the plateua during past couple months, I weigh in only 2-3 times a week. I tried to do only once a week but can't resist to peak any change in between.

my number start looking better since I was in 140's for 15 weeks. When I saw the number 139, make me so happy today. I smile with myself.

Doh - you can take your scales on holiday with you??? I've always be told to leave them at home...if only i'd known......yey roll on next year!!! i'm gunna pack em first!!

again, i've just finished work, so will post on sunday and give you a FULL un-a-bridged version of my week...i promise (dont' hold your breath...it's not THAT interesting)

Hmmmmmmmm....I hear ya about how much even .1 of a pound can put a smile on yer face...even if it just gets you out of the area you've been sitting in for so many weeks...Hmmm scales on vacations...this really COULD get addicting...lotsa work this week...doing OT tomorrow..so I'll prolly see everyone on Sunday!!!

Hello everyone!! hope you all had a great weekend! I was busy today...got all my outside of my house cleaned...raked, stuff put away...lawn furniture out...all the fun stuff...even got some kittywillows for my vase...so i got good exercise today..is nice and sunny with a bit of a breeze...gonna bbq some chicken tonite with a salad!!

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great weekend.
My goal this week is to NOT weigh in until Sat. This will take more will-power than dieting!!!
On a positive note, the 2 lbs that seemed to creep up last week are gone - I think the 100 oz of water a day helped.

Good Morning Ladies!! Got on the scale today since ToM is done.....No Loss...buuuuut...No GAIN EITHER!!!YAYYYYYYYY Still sitting 178!!!!!!!!Have a great day everyone!!!!!!!!!

Hay KTNA!!! Awesome for you!!! wow...100oz of water a day? I know I get more than my 64 becuase I have a super mug at work that holds 64oz and i drink almost the whole thing a day...then there's the water and green tea I drink at home....So I know I'm hitting at least 80...Keep up the grea work...It's nice to see that neither of us gained!! It's all gone!!lol

Where is everyone else? Hope to see everyone on here when I check in tonite. I think I'm going to try to substitute weighins for checking on here!lol

Good Afternoon Ladies!
Firstly...the leaning forwards does NOT work on my scales - boo-hoo secondly, i like my scales today because they like me! I'm still 122lbs but didn't eat that well over the weekend...infact had 2 chocolate bars (not at the same time...honest!)

It's still very fresh here splashes, not garden furniture getting out time that's for sure, we are still getting a light frost in the morning...brrr!

KTna good luck with staying off the scales....i'd find it really difficult too!

yuiuab - well done for hitting 139lbs, you deserve your 6,7,8 times on the scales...its' sooooo nice to see a low number it makes you want to take a look again and again and again!!



Leanne - How are those beautiful children of yours...keeping oyu on your toes no doubt?!

Hope everyone (the ones i have mentioned and the ones who's name's have escaped me!!) is keeping well and eating health. No one has posted about slipping up and eating anything they shouldn't so i'm gonna take it that we're all sticking to our plans?? Except my 2 chocolate bar...see above )

Well I'm of fto take my youngest to her dance class (does that count as exercise for me too??!) then it's off to work for the night (Now that DOES count as exercise)

Hi HS, our posts must have crossed, didn't see your message until after i had posted mine!
That's a good idea about popping in here rather than weighing ourselves...I might just do that too!

I'm trying to get back in to a routine of coming in here every day...now the kids are back at school, my normal routine will resume so i'll hve a better chance!

What a weekend...

Saturday was cameron's 4th b-day....his party was fun but BOY did I have a headache afterwards....but, I ate pretty well and ran outside 5km, so my weight has stayed at 124 over the weekend, AND yes I did have some birthday cake, come on it was SPIDERMAN cake...hehehehe, it was really good though...

I am SOOOO glad the weather is finally nice enough to let my kids play outside...makes the days more enjoyable and makes them a LOT more tired by bedtime...ha ha whatever works eh?

Okay, I took a new pic this weekend....I have before and afters if anyone wants me to post them I will! Let me know!

Leanne, did you know that spidermen cakes if eaten with your eyes' closed don't have any calories?? With that in mind you could have had two pieces!!!

I've got before and after photo's, i'll post if oyu do!


NB - I know the eye's closed / cake eating isn't true...but I'm in denial, and it makes cake eating even more interesting!!! heheheh!!

hi my name is kate and i'm a scale addict

i thought i was the only one that did all that silly stuff!!!

i too go potty, get naked step on breath out ... but i stand really straight and put my arms up in a stretch while i breath out lol.

i wish i could lean and it would weigh less, but mine are guarenteed to always weigh the same, and believe me i've tried .... leaning, one leg, tip toes, squatting, dragging it to every room in the house. but the darn thing always weighs the same !

i always weigh before bed too, so i can see if i'm going to lose in the morning, don't you love those days when you weigh the same at night as you did in that morning, and you just know 2-3lbs are going to be gone in the morning ?

if i have a bad day i drag it to under a counter and then lean on the counter while i weigh and say i'll be there soon when its like 20lbs lighter.
