Hello all!! Although it seems to be just you and me again Steph!!
Good for you on the workouts, that is great!!!
My hubby did go and buy me the Bowflex Sport!! It took him 4 hours to put it together, and set us back $800.
But, hopefully in the long run, it is worth it.
I also got a book on it called The bowflex body plan, or something like that.
You also only workout 3 days a week. I have decided Mon., Wed., and Fri.
I am going to try and do my treadmill the other days.
I have given myself a 6 week challenge.
We will see how it goes.
I am not going to weigh in every week either.
I am going to shoot for every other week (who am I kidding, I will be weighing in)

Hi Amy, We're the only troopers left :LOL: Congrats on getting the bowflex!!! Do you like it?? it always looks cool in the commercials! I'm still doing good at the gym.. even bumped up my weights this week!
My problem is still my portions.. I NEED MORE CONTROL!!! but i don't know where to find it. i'll eat my little plate... but then when i go to clean up the kitchen, i pick at whatever's left and end up eating was i used to!! GRRRRR Someday i'll figure something out. On my lunches.. i've cut them down and only brought small ammounts unless its healthy... getting better!!

Good Morning Steph!!!
I really like my Bowflex, although you start out only doing 6 exercises, 3 days a week for 2 weeks. Then you add other exercises on week by week.
I have done my treadmill 2x's this week also.
I feel like I have done ok this week. I am not going to weigh in though.
I don't want to get discouraged.
Last night, we had my oldest daughter's 7th B-day. I had a little piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream. I had just a salad for supper, so I think that is ok.

It's started out to be a good week. a friend and i threw my dad a bday party last night and only ate the healthier items... i even passed on cheesecake and went for the angel food and fresh strawberries. YAY!
I'm still going to the gym as planned.. i actually look forward to it :LOL: Luke started playing racketball the same days i'm at the gym. We've been holding each other accountable and so far we haven't missed a day.
I'm glad you like the bowflex!! It has always looked like it would be good!
Do you have any -yummy not so bad for ya- recipies for anything chocolate? and also a noodle salad?
I've been looking but not having much luck!

Hello!!!!
I will have to look through my recipes tonight and see if I can find anything
Yesterday I did my Bowflex for 20 minutes and the treadmill for 45 minutes.
Today I had to take 2 kids to the Dr. both have strep throat.
So, I am really enjoying my day

Morning
ooo two kids with strep??? yikes!! Yesterday was one of my days off from exercising. I went home and just relaxed, it was nice. Even had the house to myself! Tonight its off to the gym for lots of cardio and ball work. Woo hoo!!
Our weather is finally turning into our usual spring... back to the rain instead of the 60-65 sunny days :P I was just getting into the lunch break walks too!! Hopefully the weatherman will be wrong again!!

Oh my gosh, it has been almost 2 weeks for me, I am just terrible.
I have been absolutely bad on my diet and so gosh darn busy.
My kids finally go back to school tomorrow. Yeah!!!!!
I have gained about 6 lbs these last couple of weeks.
What the heck is wrong with me?
All I have done is eat and eat my kids Easter candy!!!
Something has got to happen or I am just going to give up!!!

Don't give up!! You can do this!! sorry for dissappearing! But here i am again! Hope your still around!!
I've been slacking too.. i'm still going to the gym... but my eating habits are back to where i started so i'm not seeing much results. Time to get back in the swing of things... summer is quickly approaching. I got my wedding dress and thats quickly approaching too. I know what areas i need to work on, and the first one is overall weight loss!!!
