Going ahead and reporting Friday exercise so I won't forget: One hour of weights (at an amazingly early hour) with trainer, just total body stuff and some walking. I'll be back with menu report!!! Sis boom bah ... I'm having trouble journaling, too, but need to keep doing it as this thread has been my salvation!

anagram 06-18-2004 08:56 PM

Add me to the clueless. I've been eating lots of fruit (cutting it up for the girls, then eating the most of it that they don't). And overall not been eating outrageously but certainly not in a manner that puts me in charge.

Amarantha2 06-19-2004 08:06 AM

Clueless in Arizona

Add me to the clueless list! :gossip: Stopped journaling about noon yesterday and blew the brand-new 21-day calorie thing ... the only things I DIDN'T eat yesterday were pb cups and milky ways!

At this point I'm not sure I'll be back on this thread, as why pretend? :coffee:

anagram 06-19-2004 12:42 PM

Another clueless day but I will be trying for a "save" yet as girls are gone and I have to get back to pretending I'm an adult again and eat like one. Did manage to get some fruit and a "very" little veggies into them. Never got far with dd on that either so am determined that they will end up eating every veg in sight.

Fathers Day oh a little blueberry pie couldn't resist of course. Today is Monday though and a new start to the week. Oh I guess I'd better mention the blueberry pancake for breakfast. Oh the whole day was a wash no sense in putting it down. I hope to have a better handle on today. I am going to get serious before it catches up with me!!!!!!!! Did anyone else have that type of day? Saturday wasn't so bad and I did try to fit a few good things in my day!
Have a great start to a new week and any advice would be welcomed.

Sunday
mix Kashi cereals w/blueberries and skim milk
2 1/2 servings broccoli, cauliflower, carrot mix
one kiddie size yogurt
banana
hot roast beef sandwich
hot pretzel
slimfast meal bar as a "dessert/snack"
one minuscule piece (couldn't call it a slice) of Father's Day cake

Close to enough water. Some yard work and a somewhat leisurely walk around City Island (a rec area where we also ate our roast beef sandwiches).

Saturday - hmm, probably too bad to total calories. Saving grace: fruits, pb on crackers. It was dinner and Father's Day cake that did me in - both moderate but not moderate enough.

Amarantha2 06-21-2004 01:55 PM

Hmmm. I'm not reallly reporting here anymore but I'm doing good on THE DIET! :lol3:

Just wanted to ask Anagramatic if she's used the new "low carb" Slimfast ... I bought some more of the cans to take to my meeting tonight and I really like this version ... seems healthier, even though I don't "low carb" ...

Ok, bye!

anagram 06-21-2004 09:08 PM

Anagram, I think they have a cappacino latte cream or something like that. I accidentally picked up a case instead of the vanilla cream. I can't help it, guys. I pledged myself never to drink SF again, but the new stuff doesn't send my blood sugar sky high and I can actually drink one for a snack and stop. Tried the cinnabun low carb meal bar today and it was not bad ... I like EAS better but SF is less expensive and more obtainable ... I'm not slimfasting or low carbing, but these products are helpful on THE DIET!!!!

Ate a ton of stuff today and ended at 1790 cal ... part of THE DIET!!!! is sliding down a bit more each day in calories. I am still very thirsty tonight and will drink a bottle of iced water.

Sorry, this thread is meant for reporting menus/exercise. Didn't mean to rhapsodize about SF. I'm obsessed (and tired)!

anagram 06-22-2004 10:43 PM

I'll be looking for them. Both sound good.

Walked all of Lowe's and Home Depot as well as a carpet store. Enough water.

Also must add that I had a cup of skim milk last night as well as what I listed.
