Hi everyone..went to curves early this am and just got home..i am sore but managed to do all the exercises i was doing before vacation boy did i work up a sweat tho i was determined not do any less than when i last went and i did it ..the wild fires around our area are creating smoke everywhere..you can smell and see it and my asthma is really bothering me as smoke is one of the things im really sensitve too..they plan to let these fires just burn out as they are in an area that is a fire hazzard anyways..but the smoke caused by them is awful ..was happy to see some of you back ..summer what a sweet thing to do for buddy..am happy he had such a good time..daphnee..i charge the lady that orders from me 2.00 a card as she orders so many..normally i get 3.50 a card and charge 10.00 for a package all tied up with abow and a pen..the big order i get pays for my supplies and i make simpler less complicated cards for her as she wanted a reduced rate(and she still argues with me on price )its my anniversary today and am missing my dh..we never really celebrated anniversarys but this yr its 35 yrs..maybe he will surprize me and come home from the cabin early..well work awaits me ((((hugs))))))) for all rosey

Hello Everyone...Its a great day today.. Sunny but really hot.. I am trying to get to the pool.. There will be a informal meeting at the pool today about extending the pool 1 more week after the Labor day Holiday. It usually closes for the season after that Monday.. So we shall see...It will be nice but if it happens to rain that week.. it will be ashame but no one can predict Mother Nature... I hope they do...we shall see...I didnt go to the gym last night..
Hubby worked late and I wanted to be here to fix his dinner and finish uo some thing.. I wil pay for it some Wednesday..

I am so sorry about the smoke. I hope that your asthma gets better..All that smoke must be really bad.. I hope it calms down real soon and you DONT get any fires..Thats so awful whats happening there...
Thank-you for saying that Rosey.. That was so Sweet of you..but I was glad to do it for Buddy....He really enjoyed himself.. I checked on him today and he is not feeling to good....he has good and bad days.. Poor guy..
WAY TO GO on your exercising ..I know its hard but it all pays off..
I saw a lady that owns a resturant near us and she lost alot of weight going to the same gym we go to.. I had not seen her in a long while and sure enough she gained it back.. She told me that she stopped going to the gym and thats why she gained it all back....That proved to me that exercise is the key.. She is my age. She told me not to stop no mater what when I reached my goal weight...I told her that would not be a problem because it will prob take me forever to do reach it ... but serioulsy I do believe what she said..I can see the difference when I miss a day here and there.... I admire you going to workout Rosey as I know how difficult it can be for you...You Go Girl

I would help others...that would be the only thing to do. I know its so hard to stay on a diet.. I am sure when we go to MB in 12 days..I am counting.. I will gain and I am prepared for that..because when I get back I will buckle-down and lose it..I Hope....but I know what you are saying...it will come off Sweetie....it just takes time..

Hi everyone.. another smokey day here and i feel worse..we need a good rain to stop this my dh did come home late last night and i was happy to see him altho he didnt remember it was our anniversary till i said so..we didnt do anything speacial but my mil wants to take us out to dinner when we want to go..anyways it was just nice being together..im am so sore like i was beat with a stick (from curves)and the coughing from the smoke and itchy eyes and sneezing etc etc etc has made me miserable even claritin isnt helping ..summer you are so right about the exercise tho..i know its good for me and key to weight loss..have agreat day veryone((((((hugs)))))) rosey

Rosey, I am very proud of you for getting right back into the swing of things. Happy Belated Anniversary! I am sorry I missed out on your special day.

Just to let you all know that I feel that someone should start a new thread soon. It may help Daphne or it may not. She seems to always freeze up once she tries to log onto this site. Also, I may not be on very much which recently has been very obvious. I have a lot going on that I do not have the time to spend like I did before on the pc. I still will check in from time to time because you all are my family and this is no way a goodbye. So, please someone go ahead and start up a new thread. My birthday is Friday and I hope that maybe that will kick my butt back on plan.

Hello Everyone....Its another beautiful day here...I went to the pool yesterday and I hope I will get there today..The meeting went well.. I enjoyed talking to friends.. We all agreed due to the storm fast aproching maybe its better not to extend the pool.. We will be having extended hours next year like 12-11pm on friday nights for adult swimming..That will be nice.
The year is almost over for the pool and I dont know where it has gone..Its always like that...I guess time just flies....

Rosey...YOU GO GIRL I am so proud of you.. I know its so hard and thats great your dd has inspired you..I hope that in time it gets better and you arent so soar...I will be working on foods too. We can do it Rosey...
When I get back from Myrtle beach I intend to stay good untill the Holidays..

Morning everyone its raining here and boy did we need it..it sure helps with the smokey air..i am so sore from the exercise..everyone says it will get better but its not yet i feel like i have been beaten with a stick all the more reason that i need to continue this so one day i will wake up and not hurt..now..summer you said what i have been thinking for along time..i have come to feel that you are all apart of my family and have shared your triumphs and defeats.. and i get so much enjoyment from all of you.. and the encouaragement that i need and hope i can encouage and inspire you all too....sometimes i feel very alone in here..i know im retired and have lots of time(usually ) to post.and also realize that you are all busy with kids and such..but i too miss all of you like i would an absent family member..so when i post day after day and im only talking to myself i get very sad and lonesome and feel why even bother with this and then i will see a message from summer..donna.. daphnnee.. mr ken..dana or kris and it brightens my day so on i go..anyways summer you said it all and i say ditto..donna i to worry about people when i dont here from them in awhile..hope everything is ok in your life and if i can help im here.. that goes for any of you..and i need that kick in the butt to keep me going as i try and be a healthier and happy grandma..enuff.. the dh is waiting for me to get him ready for the cabin again will check in later ((((((((hugs))))))))) rosey

I'm crying here as I read Summer and Rosey's posts. My I sure know how to upset people don't I? In no way am I abandoning you all. I just can't be considered as an active part of this thread any more. I have noticed it's been coming to this little by little. Maybe we need a revival? I just have found dealing with the guilt and stress of not being able to focus my time on this site for some time and besides always having to apologize that I haven't posted all the time and trying to 'catch up' with you all and ultimately ending up leaving some one out because of my mind that is over-crowded with all that I have to do, I need to cut myself off for a while. I have found that journaling works best for me because I do not have that pressure of keeping up with everyone although my nature is that I want to but it kills me that I can't any more. Rosey, you and Summer have been so faithful and you both deserve better. I only suggested starting a number 5 because of the problems Daphne is encountering, it may or may not help her. You may keep this until 3fc asks you to close it for being too long. I think that Rosey and Dana as well as Kris know how to start a new thread. I wish you all the best and I will keep in touch. I am going to have to unsubscribe though so please don't take this personally. Please keep me on your personal email address book as I will yours. [email protected]

I am so sorry that I made you cry.. Believe me that was never my intention.. I am sorry that you feel you have to leave this thread.. I really cant understand why you feel guilty about anything.. You havent did anything to feel gulity about....I dont think anyone here aways needed you to apologize for being busy...It was always so sweet of you to apologize and we all understood...but in no way did anyone think you had to do that...
We all understand that things were really hetic in your life... and I guess they still are. I know its tough to make time to come in here when you are busy with your family and all...Thats so understandable...We all know how that is...Each of us know its hard to make time to come in here..

Hey everyone..(((((((hugs)))))) summer am sorry you feel sad too..i talked to donna thru e-mail and understand where she is coming from and respect her feelings.. we did nothing wrong.. and i wish her all the best with an open door and heart..now about us here.. yes we need each other ..i need the support to help me stay on track so i will not give up..i even exercised at home today and i must say i am still so sore..to bad there wasnt a magic pill..anything worth having is hard work tho right..a friend brought me fresh tomotoes and cukes from her garden..i forgot how good they are from store bought produce.. that was supper with a small hamburger patty grilled in the geroge foreman..im still hungry ..the dh left for the cabin again and its quiet around here again ((((((((hugs))))))) for all rosey

(((((Roomies))))) Ok I have to say that you all are the best friends I have had. I love each and ever one of you and my door is open to any of you if you are ever down this way. I understand what Donna is saying and Girlfriend I will miss seeing your humor here but I can read your journal and get my fix. I also can im with you when we are both on! Donna you need to do what ever it is to take care of yourself and feeling guilty is not the way to have to feel. I was ready to not come back being as I feel like I have been gone so much and left Rosey to steer the ship all alone. LOL I am glad I re read that being as I had a t at the end of ship and not a p.
My kids start school Wednesday. AMEN. I have decided to not worry about what I am eatting until then. My weight is the hightest it has been ever in my life. I will start out with walking each day when Robert leaves on the bus. I plan on walking rain or shine. I did so well when i did that last time. I will also be watching what I eat. I am going to tell hubby that I want a membership to Curves. I was going to do the YMCA but I am not comfortable working out in front of men.When I was 16 and had a body I loved it. Now I have 2 bodies! Does that mean I would get twice the attention? I will stop the soda and start back on water. I will post at least once a day here so I can be caught up and not feel *guilty*. I am going to use fitday again for food journaling and the Diary site here for daily chat to myself! I am excited when I think about it. Or I am just excited to get rid of the kids for a few hours.
I will post later today but have to go and feed Megan. Oh I was going to ask the ladies Deborah, Gayle and Ann from mine and Danas other thread to join us here. They really are a great group and I have known then for 3 or 4 years now here. I think we would all have fun getting to know each other thru them.
Dana I miss you and am worried about you. Rosey I want to thank you for all your dedication to the thread and being such a positive person. Summer you are the most up beat happy thankful cheery swetest person I have ever know, and Donna I love you, you and I share so much in common with our families it is scary. I am here for you when ever you need to talk. Do not feel bad about taking care of yourself for a change. That is what we all want to be able to do.
