Hi guys. Just a quick post again and I may lay down for a quick nap before starting school pick up in an hour.

Donna will you get to go to MB this week? I know they have some evacuations already down there with that hurricane coming. It looks more like it will hit the grand strand with tropical storm force. I hope it works out for you.

Rosey I'm sorry you've been sick. As for the storms, I kinda agree with you. I hate the bad ones but I do like thunder and such as long as it's not real electrical. Have your grandchildren got back to school yet?

Summer it is so busy picking brett up because the high school and middle school are in together. They are on the same little road and it's only a few yards between pick up for both schools. The roads merge in together which are chaotic. I hope that these storms are gone before you guys head to MB. Theres another storm brewing up heading this way too. I think it would be called Danielle.

My cousin just found out she was pregnant like 2 weeks ago and yesterday she started spotting and they did an internal ultrasound and saw the baby didn't have arms and legs. It's trying to miscarry and the Dr. sent her home and said in 5 days or so she should pass it all. It's sad to think of that. She's 12 weeks pregnant which was the same time that I had difficulty with my last pregnancy which turned out to be a diagnosis with twins.

My sister wants the family to come over to her new house tomorrow for a cook out and to basically "show off" her new house. I just am really not in a mood for gloating right now and I"m tired physically as well. My mama is ill at me for not saying that i will definately be there. This will be Dh's only weekend off in august that we can spend together as a family. He will have one off in 2 more weeks but we have a birthday party in a town about 45 minutes from here as well as the "smith" reunion that I have been to a few times but for free food- I'm there!

Well I need to get up from here and get something done or maybe I will lay down a little bit and watch All My Children. Hope you all stay safe and sound this weekend.

Hi everyone..im still busy and have company still..the dd and sil and grkids went on an overnite campout and fishing trip with the dd cousin..my niece has a boat and motor and her girls are my grnadkids age..so i packed them up this am and they got going like ahurd of turtles..yesterday they were in Homer alaska..its at the end of our peinnsula.. very beautiful town with mts and beaches..the grkids brought back shells they had gotton on the beach and wanted grma to make necklaces out of them..being the "crafty" person that i am.. i got out my "own" little dremel tool and drilled holes in the top of the shells and strung them on a leather thong.. they looked neat and the kids thought it made them look like indians..gotta love their imaginations ..they will be back tomorrow night and then head home on sunday..its been fun to have them but oh so busy..my dh is heading back to the cabin this aftnoon..hes getting ready for moose hunting..i need a long winters nap but after a few days of rest i will wish them back..dana am so glad to here from you..sorry about your cousins baby..how sad..am glad im not the only one who likes storms..summer sorry you couldnt exercise..as soon as school starts i am going back to curves.. right now we have a babysitter problem as im the only one that can watch hailey and since we exercise together my dd and i its just not worked out( gosh isnt that to bad )at any rate for sure when school starts..hope your stroms stop.. they must be bad if they close businesses..hello to donna, kris, daphnee and mr ken..will check in alter everyone((((((hugs))))))) rosey

Hi everyone this will be a quick post. I hope that you all got the e mail from me about Tony. I am still crying and feeling like crap now. Here is the rest of the story that I was not able to say in the e mail. His gramma told me that Papa was driving that a deer jumped out in front of them and grandpa swerved to miss the deer and lost control hit the ditch. hmmmm was kinda fishy but I was to worried to think bout it. Tony calls me later and is whispering to me. He said Mom I was driving, Papa wasn't even with me. He said that he remembers something about pasing a car on the straightway but he isn't sure if he did or it was a dream. He also can't remember if he took his friend home. Tony said he went round the corner (they just repaved the road with rock and it is slick) and lost control. He went to the other side of the road and hit a tree. His voice was shaking and he said Mom if not for that tree I would be not be here today I would have gone 150 feet down the embankment. It is so hard to not be there. He is upset that I was not called last night about accident and that his gramma lied to me. Honestly right now I am so angry at the stupid lying B**** I would love to beat her up. I am thankful my baby is OK but so angry at how they all treat me. Oh they are telling the insurance company that Delton was driving to protect Tony. If they find out it was him driving he will not be able to afford insurance. I also don't know if that would mean losing his license with the new laws. I am so thankful that he did not have another kid in the truck with him. He just lost 2 friends in a car accident 2 months ago I am sad that he was not more careful with his driving. Oh and his grandpas truck is a total.
I hope that you all have a better day and i wil post later tonight when i am calmer.

Hi everyone..here it is afternoon and im still in my jammies and slippers and it feels good..no one here to please but me ..i did not get to bingo last night the dd car broke down.. and the parts were expensive to fix..soooo we will go this comming weekend..as we speak the dd and her dh are trying to finance a new car..i hope it works out for them..i watched the olympics last night..my dh used to be a gymnasts in hi-school and college..in fact he was the minn state champ on the high bar in 1967 and placed 12 th in the nation in college..soooo i love watching the gymnastics and since i was on the swimming team in high school i like that too..are any of you following the olympics?? welcome back mr ken sounds like you had fun..sooooo the guys are on the hunt for all who are absent hope you all had a great weekend miis all of you (((((((((hugs)))))))) rosey

Hello Chickies.... Today is a cloudy and sorta hot day.. It was sunny yesterday..I had so many things going on yesterday..went to see Bert..
She was doing ok.. and now some friends want to give Buddy a BD party..so all of that is in the planning stages.. I am trying to get ready for a gig at thw Moose this Saturday..We are playing after the Shrimp feast...
I am blessing the house and laundry as usual.. Went to class last night....
It was fun.. I thought I would be wore-out but I did pretty good for these old fat bones ...Today I was hoping for some pool time but Mother Nature is not cooperating....Maybe tomorrow..
I dont know where the summer is going..
Next thing you know it will be Thanksgiving. Can you believe I saw Halloween decorations out in a store... Unreal....Time just flies by so fast...
I have alot to finish today.. so I better get with it..I am sorry I didnt get in here sooner..but there is never enough time in a day for me..

Dana.....I can imagine that it is really hard to pick up Brett with the 2 schools being so close together.. I hope it gets better for you...

I wish you had a place in your area to do water aerobics..because I believe you would love it seeing how you were on the swim team in school... We did swimming exercises last night.. It was a new exercise that the instructor introduced to us..
It was really easy and a good workout..It was alot of fun..

Hi everyone I am here again. I was able tog et Tony Sunday morning so I have been with him since then. I had to bring him home today so I am sad again. I really had a good time with him this visit. He was really shaken by the accident and he was so damn sweet to me. My baby kissed me on the lips! OK if you have little ones that is no biggie. Tony is almost 18 and it has been kisses on the cheek if I am lucky. He had just seen me and turned and hugged me tight said he loved me and bam! Kisses on my lips. OK does that sound dorky or what? He even gave me kisses the whole time he was here and would come and hug me. I have a zillion call to make so I can't post much for now. I was up with Tony until 1AM and then woke with Jason at 4:30 today. Needles to say I am kind of dead. I was going to take a nap but the air/heater guys will be here in 15 to 45 minutes. So I will just collasp today when they leave. I saw where Tony had the accident and dang it was close. @ weeks ago a lady went off the road in the same area and died from the crash. I hope this at least will teach Tony to drive safer and appreciate the small things in life more. Both of which I am proud to say he was while here. I GOT LIP KISSES!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone..ive been so busy today.. the dh surprized me and came home early last night..he said he missed me made my day for sure.. anyways we ran errands today and just got home..was having trouble with the puter last nite so dd came over and fixed it for me.. and gave me a ride in her new car..2004 chevy cavelier..champaigne color..really nice.. am so happy for her as she has always had such junker cars..boy is she excited..i have apot roast cooking in my new electric fry pan..this new waterless cooking is taking some getting used too..daphnnee you are just to cute..and yes lip kisses are the best esp when they are unexpected..hey kris glad to see you post..hope the rest of you had agreat day((((((hugs)))))) rosey

Hello Chickies...
I all sorry I didnt get in here yesterday. I was so busy..
A friend of mine had carpal-tunnel surgery on her hand over 6 weeks ago and her hand its still not right.. I am trying to get her another oppinion and different Dr.. I cant beleive how this Dr. that did the surgery is so matter-of-fact with her. He is not really giving any good reasons why the surgery didnt obviously work and so on.. She is a basket case from pain and depression from the pain. She takes care of her 3 year old granddaughter full time and works too.
Thats another story but I am trying to help her..
She cannot go back to work in this condition and she is worried about that too.. She is a very independant person and she is use to doing everything for herself.. With-out a right hand that is very hard and thats why she is so very upset.. I feel so bad for her
Its unreal to me how this surgeon is so uncaring..I personally think he has messed-up the surgery and he is trying to put her off on someone else..
I could go into all of that but trust me it all points to him being in the wrong.
He told her to see the nerve Dr again.. and maybe her pain is from something else.. and so on.. These to me are excuses.. You would have to be here to see what I mean.. He is tooo much.. That sounds terrible for me to say but I beleive it in my heart.. You just never know now days..I am trying to help her find another Dr to see..Its very time consuming and not easy as Drs dont want to say bad about another Dr..You all know what I mean..but she needs help and I am determined to see she gets some.
I will be busy this week with that...I went to the gym last night....I was beat when I got home...I guess I really did to much..if thats possible...
I have more calls to make..so I have to run.. I will try to get in here as soon as I can... I have class tonight and we play on Sat.. More things to do for that..Should be alot of fun..My Plate is running over lately.....
I am sorry to vent on you all but I am so upset and worried about her..

When we all were real young like Tony we never think anything bad can happen.. Now he can see that it only takes a couple min. for really bad things to happen.. I am sure he knows that now..
He is young and he has alot of living to do.
He also is very fortunate that he has a great Mom to help him through life...
