Kris, thanks for starting us back up. :) I have been searching for the OLD one and could not find it. I hate for the crash too. It must of been terriable for that much data to be lost plus their email is completely lost. What a headache. :headache:

I need to change my profile but I'll tell you what I'm up to... THREE FREAKING POUNDS! :cry: :stress: :( Can you believe I gained that much? I knew I would show a gain but three pounds???? UGH! Oh well, back to the drawing board. We were gone to Mississippi for New Years and it was non stop eating sweets mostly from the moment we arrived till we left on Friday. The weather was cold at first when we went into Mobile to Bellgrath gardens to see the lights but it quickly warmed up and we even arrived home to Spring like warmth. :) :cool: But, the warmth did not last long. It is back to usual January weather even for the south and I'm thinking FLORIDA. :) As you can tell I do not do well with winter.

Hi everyone..wow alot sure has changed what a mess for the 3fc's to deal with..welcome back kris hope you had a great hoilday..donna..am sorry for your gain..but i like your attitude..just get back with it..gee i should follow my own advice:lol: we are still in the midst of remodeling the bathrm..the new floor is done..tile in place.. the potty hooked up(yaaaaaay!!!!)and today they are putting in the fan and the start of the shower..i never imagined what a project this would turn into..my dh did tho..no wonder he put it off:lol: theres tools and cords everywhere.. sawdust and sheet rock dust on everything..the only safe area is the kitchen..i will be so happy to get it done..my sil's mother is doing better..shes been out of icu..but is acting like nothing happened and the phyc drs said to wait till she talks about it all..they are transfering here to a phyc ward today and i guess shes mad about it..i sure hope she didnt do this for attention ..if so she still needs phyc help..im having a hard time fathoming the why of this but am glad she s alive..hope you all are having a good day..im going to cook a pot of chix stew..as my dd and her dh are coming tonite to help..so want to have an easy supper ready..will check in later rosey:wave:

I'm not able to post on 3fc so I thought i would write to you instead. LOL
It takes me to the sign in page and after I sign in it will bring up the
page that says "thank you for logging on..." and takes me right back to that
same sign in page all over again. I can read the posts though. Maybe it will
fix itself once everything gets back to normal on there. For now, here's my
post. LOL

Donna I had the very same disease last week. The GAIN 3 POUNDS disease. I
lost 1.5 this week however so it's possible to lose it in fractions all over
again. Isn't this bitter cold weather awlful? I've heard we could have a
mix on thurs. night into friday morning. I don't like mixes (only the cake
kind) LOL but love the snow however.

Rosey I'm so happy for you that your potty is fixed and your bathroom is own
it's way to recovery. I agree that your dd's MIL needs to be in psych
regardless of her situation and why she's done that. Even if it was
attention, what if she succeeded?? What did she do or did you say? Any
attempt can be a success but I know you know that.

Summer I"m worried about you and hope you can post soon so I can "read" it.

Nothing is going on here. I did manage to lose 1.5 pounds this week despite
TOM creeping on me. I haven't actually had it yet but I feel it so close
today. It should have started a few days earlier but I guess this is the one
thing that's better late than never. As for the news DH got last week,
nothing more has been said or progressed about it. He went back to work
yesterday and today so unless he comes home with something today, he didn't
yesterday. In a way, I don't expect anything to come out of it. Not that I
don't think he may be the father of that girl because I do believe he slept
with her. He wasn't here for 6 months so he slept with somebody. (that
sounds awlful). But really, if she thought it was his I don't know why she
waited 7 years to mention it. Would you? I would have had financial help
when it was smaller if I had been crazy enough to put myself in that
situation.

Anyway, we agreed that for now we wouldn't even let on like he got that
letter. There's more than one person in that plant with his name and it was
delayed 2 weeks from the date of the letter until the day he got it so it
went through a lot to even get to him.

Well better run. Today is DH's 30th birthday and he'll be home in 3 hours
and expect something. (cooked that is). Hope you all have a great evening
and hopefully I can post sometime soon.

Rosey. I'm glad that your sil's mom is doing some better. I hope that you get some answers but you know when it comes to matters of the mind sometimes there is never a clear answer for the ones without the problem. I will hold her in my prayers. I know you have a mess but it sure will be worth it when it's done. Would love to see pictures! ;)

Summer, are you STILL having puter problems? I spoke with her last night and she had been on the phone all day with tech support. Today I saw her as well and notified her of where we are now and she replied that she couldn't talk, that she was online with tech support. :( I'm so :sorry: :grouphug: I tell you these things can sure be a pain. I'm sure that Suzanne and all the rest of the 3fc officials feel the same way. What a blessing, but what a curse. :shrug:

Dana, I'm so glad that your dh hasn't had anymore surprise notes or news. There could be many reasons if that child is his why she is just now saying something. The child is 7 and they do ask a lot of questions. Maybe she had to tell her the truth or maybe after all this time she felt maybe she was wrong from hiding it from him or just like you all may suspect she is in the need for help because we all know how expensive raising kids are these days. I just hope no response from him will be the right thing to do in this matter but I feel for the child too. It's not a good position to be in is it? Tell him :hb: from me too!

Sheree, how was your Christmas? ARe your kids back in school?

Elena is back in school but we sure are having a hard time getting her to settle in for the night at a decent hour. Her birthday is next week and she is so excited about it and she's been way too much! LOL :lol:

Daphne, is it still snowing? I feel for you sweetie. I would love to see some snow but the ice is not what I do well with. It is supposed to be very cold this evening as well as the rest of the week.

Kris, how are things? How is the job going for your dh? Did you enjoy your time with your family this Christmas? I thought of you when I was driving through Alabama on our routes to and from Mississippi. Not near you but still you reside in the state! LOL

Hello Everyone... I have been so flustrated with this pooter..
It has been a total pain on the rear.. and then some..
Why is it when tech support says

We ate out cause we had Dr appointment..Jim is doing great and me to except for our weight..The Dr. said to really try to work on it and we are..We had salad and fish for dinner..so is thats good :lol: especially eating out...Well its good to be back.. Hello Everyone... I really cant understand whats happening to my computer lately.. Again it messed up last night..More hours on the tech support line..today..well I am not gonna say anything cause when I do..Boom There it is..:lol: :headache:
I have to laugh or I will :cry:I tired to get in here earlier and it would not let me..I am really wore out with all of this..I pray that it stays working for awhile..

Hope all are well. DH and I are working on getting all credit cards paid off this year for our New Year's Goals. I think we MIGHT :crossed: be able to get them all paid off this year. :)

Christmas was wonderful. I wish I was in Indiana...I really miss it. I will be travelling a lot in the next couple of months, so get your suitcases ready girls and Glen!! :)

Well, I have been OP even exercising more than I did before the holidays and stepped on the scales this morning... (I know, shouldn't have) and I'm up another pound and a half!!! OK, I'm not going to get too concerned because your weight can fluctuate from day to day but I've been soooo good since coming home. Oh well.... I guess what worries me is that am I slowly gaining all this weight back? I don't know what I'll do if that happens.

Donna thanks again for updating everyone on my situation. I couldn't get in here at all today until now. I don't know if it was a site problem or on my end. Like you said about your weight, it moves all over the place on a day to day basis so I"m sure it won't seem that bad once you weigh next week. If it is, I'm sure you will have more than one person right there with you- probably me. Remember DH had a birthday yesterday and he did have a small cake. :T

Rosey I hope that everything in that bathroom is back into place for you. I don't see how you used a bucket for a bathroom. When I was pregnant with my soon to be 11 yr old we lived in a 2 story apt. and the bathroom was upstairs. I had a bucket downstairs for the last trimester because DH worked evenings and everyone was afraid I would fall downstairs. I couldn't stand that. I eventually started staying with my mom and then he picked me up on his way home at night. I hope that your SIL's mom is doing better and that she can accept and have success with her psych help.

Summer I'm so sorry for your PC trouble. I know what you mean about tech being in your computer. When I worked at staples we had tech support that would have to come in on our main computer system a lot. It was scarry at first. It was always funny for one of the younger people to walk in the office and see it. They thought it was spooky. :dizzy: I have been having trouble here but only on this site. I finally had to delete my cookies and then it would let me sign in the right way. After that I couldn't get in here at all.

Daphne I hope you are ok and can post again soon. I have seen it is a mess over there. I guess the kids have been at home all week. Yesterday was the anniversary of our 12 inches of snow we had back in 1988. We were out of school for 2 weeks. Of course we ended up making that up and didn't get out of school until late june.

Sheree I hope you can find us and can post soon so we can hear about your holidays, house and how much weight you've lost now.

Kris I think if I were "childless" :lol: we could get out of debt some and get rid of the credit cards. That is such a wise thing to do. I wish we could do things over again before we had kids and then maybe we would be in a house by now.

My sister was suppose to sign a contract on her house yesterday so they can start building soon. She said her payments would be $650 not including the taxes and insurance. She doesn't have any kind of housing responsibility right now.

Hi there we will see if this will work. Well we have finally hit 33* for the first time in like a week now. The ice is slowly melting and now we have to worry about flooding and ice chunks breaking off and hitting something or someone. You can literally hear the ice fall of the roof and trees and crash to the ground. We have like 6" of snow with a layer of ice underneth it and a layer of ice on top of it. It is a mess out here. I am going cray with the kids here and Jason here now. I have had the kids 5 of the last 7 weeks. Now that is cruel and inhuman torture.
I will post more later on but I am also having comp trouble today and yesterday. I came to get on the comp and it was off????? I didn't shut it off last night cause I forgot. I pushed the button to turn it on and nothing..... checked all the plugs and nothing once again. Finally I pushed the button one last time and it came on. Maybe it is just to cold for my poor baby to want to turn on!

Hello Everyone... I just stopped in..Been a busy day..The pooter was acting up last night I was so tired and exausted from the ordeal that I went to bed early..then I tossed and turned all night..that figures right..:lol:..I just got home from talking my elderly neighbor to the hospital for Pre-op blood work..She gets operated on the 14th..Shoulder surgery...It is soooo cold outside.
We had some snow this am and as soon as it hit the ground it would freeze..Many accidents and some of the counties around us got it real bad and they closed schools and it was a commuters nightmare this am.. We didnt leave untill around 11:00am cause I wanted time for the salt trucks to be out cause we went on some back roads to get there...Anyway...I am praying that my Pooter stays working awhile longer..:lol:...

Kris...WOW...You are really doing alot of traveling in the next couple of months.. I wish I could come with you...It would be so much fun.. I have heard Donna talk about Beth Moore.. I would love to see her too.. Have a wonderul time on ALL of your journeys....I know that you must be soooo excited..:wave:

Donna... Thanks for caring sweetie....I have been really upset over this pooter thing..My computer is a Dell..Its only a couple years old.. They had to give us a new tower along time ago..After we bought it it started crashing and they sent techs out to my house to replace parts even down to "Mother Board"..well thats what they called it..I dont even know what that is..:lol: but I think it must be what makes everything run..Just like a Mom :lol: anyway even that didnt work ..so after many phone calls letter writting and being ready to sue them..they sent us a new Tower with new software installed...and up untill now its been working pretty good..All that other trouble started after only having the pooter for a few months..can you believe it..but I am sure you can..Anyway..its like I am soooo worried it will be like before..and I dont think I could take it again..I will shoot it..:lol:...so I am hoping for the best..Do you have a Dell????

Yes it was weird when the Verizon tech was in my pooter..watching him take over..I still think that that the first tech messed things up in here cause he was to fast in clicking everywhere...but maybe I am wrong..I just hope that it keeps working...I hope that everything is good with you and that you all arent getting all this cold and ice that we have..I will be glad when its gone...:wave:

Hi everyone..just a quick note to let you all know im here..things are still a bit upside down..but all major things installed and working..the new shower is sooooo nice and yes im all pruned up..they put the new vanity and sink in last nite and tonite they put back the washer and dryer..we have been doing this after my sil gets off work as my dh cant lift or move alot of things cuz of his back..then im cooking dinner for everyone.. tonite we had chix stir fry and rice..turned out ok and was fast to fix..we are taking the weekend off..we are all tired and crouchy..and since everythings working we will do the finish work later next week..it was really more of a job than we thought but so greatful for all the help we had..we never could have done it on our own..its cold out still but the winds died down..im going to have a cup of tea and off to bed..will check in on everyone tomorrow..rosey:wave:

That is some awlful ice daphne. Are yall getting any better weather? They are calling for snow for our area for 4 days this next week. The forecast changes a lot but right now the first chance is 30% on thursday. We had some real fine snow flurries for about 6 hours this morning but it was too wet for it to have even stuck on the ground or we may would have had a dusting anyway.

Rosey I'm so happy for you and that bathroom. I just can't even imagine what it's like to not have one. That's even worse than camping. Are you going to bingo tomorrow?

Hope everyone is doing well tonight. I just thought I would stop in and post a short one. I'm getting ready for bed myself. DH worked 12 hours today and has to the next 2 days as well. I have church tomorrow but will get in here sometime tomorrow. Hi :wave: to all and have a good night.

Ok so I didn't get in here yesterday but where is everyone?? I've had diarrhea since 6 a.m. It's been about an hour since I"ve last went. Not my preferred way of losing weight. The blazer is broken down again so I had to take DH to work this morning and then come back and get kids ready for school. He may have his dad bring him home since they work at the same place. Otherwise I will be back to get him by 7 p.m. You know I"ve said since he had that blazer that it was cursed. Lastnight on his way home from work he gets almost in the driveway and it makes a "pop" sound and then it doesn't want to run. He looks under the hood and the alternator is glowing red and is shooting sparks. Sounds crazy but I"m going to the library before school lets out and see what I can find on what that problem was indicating. :lol: I need a book for the science fair project as well. it's due in 10 days. Daphne I saw your photo albums. Wasn't that a person in one picture? Who was that? You have a stream or something flowing in your yard? That was really pretty whereever it was. :shrug: Well hope I begin to see some more posts today! :lol:

Hello Everyone....I tried to get in here yesterday and it was closed....It has been really cold here and its calling for snow on Wednseday..I hope it blows away... I have been looking at different bikes to see what the difference is in them..besides price not to much..So I hope that we can get the one at Costco. It seems to be the best for the money..
Did not do alot over the weekend..Stayed in..Made soup and watched some movies...Today I am doing laundry and praying that this pooter stays working..I have to call Lexmark and get them to help me fix the printer as it is not working right..always something....:lol:

Daphne-Beth Moore is a lady who writes Bible studies. She is speaking in Mobile this weekend.

About the Hall of Fame....

My fater has been teaching and coaching in a high school for 31 years. He coaches football, wrestling, and track. He is being inducted into the Indiana State Athletic Hall of Fame because of his coaching success-primarily wrestling. He teaches at a school that has about 325 students in it 9-12-it has always been this little. In 28 years of coaching wrestling at his school, he has compiled a record of 345 wins, 114 losses, and 2 ties. :coach:

He always has boys that qualify for the state championships and year in and year out he beats teams from schools that are much larger and have a lot more talent than his kids do. He says his kids are just willing to work hard. I am inserting a quote from our local newspaper....

"Bill has had a successful career at a smaller school," said New Castle coach Rex Peckinpaugh, a former president of the coaches association and current board member. Peckinpaugh is also a hall of famer, inducted in 1998. He has been responsible for that program for years."

Robertson was selected after being nominated by a fellow coach, and their achievements are reviewed by a committee before a vote.

Robertson will lead his team into tonight's Delaware County Tournament.

"I am honored, of course, to be going into the Hall of Fame," he said. "It is a great feeling to be recognized by those you work with."

Robertson was nominated by Marvin Campbell, a Hall of Fame wrestler and referee who was a state champion at Central.

After wrestling in high school and being around the sport much of his childhood, Robertson began coaching in 1974.

"I learned a lot from so many and have had a lot of good role models in Delaware County," he said. "I try to be a combination of the good in each person."

Robertson, who is in his 30th year of coaching, says that his biggest victory came in 1995, when Wes-Del captured the county tournament.

"Bill has done an outstanding job with the Wes-Del program for 30 years," Yorktown coach Trent McCormick said. "There are many coaches at much larger schools that can't field a team of 14 wrestlers, but Bill consistently does it at a Class A size school. I have a lot of respect for what he has done."

Any way, you guys can see that I am really proud.

Yes, I have recovered from the trip now trying to do the Elena week this week. Tomorrow is officially her birthday but she is having two parties this weekend. One on Saturday which is a shopping party with a few girl friends and then the family party on Sunday afternoon. I did good though on a choice I want to share with you all. I was given money from my Dad at Christmas not a lot mind you but enough that it made me feel "rich" for a while because I had it in my wallet. LOL I had decided I really would like to have nails again. I mean go out and get my some acrylic nails because my natural finger nails are so soft and break so easy I can never keep them looking nice. Then I re-evaluated that decision. Once I did that I would still have to go to the nail salon to have them filled every two weeks and that would not work out for me plus what did I need? Then, I saw on TV a infomercial on Pilates. (as I was on the treadmill) :lol: It hit me that I loved that form of exercise and I should use that money to buy the cd and mat. So, went and found the best "deal" and bought a 3 cd set of Windsor Pilates and a mat. I still have some money left but not enough to get my finger nails done! I feel very good with the decision I made and am proud I choose to buy something for my health and not my vanity. :encore:

Summer, did you get your puter problems worked out? The reason why I asked you if it was a Dell computer I know just a few people who have had them and ALL of them have had problems with the computers. I know you can get bad ones in any brand but I will not buy one now just because of that. My sister has a Dell laptop and it's been "rebuilt" a few times and it's not that old. Anyway, I hope for your sake it's resolved now.
Dana, what happened with the Blazer? Did you ever get it fixed? I know that I hve expressed to you how much I detest car problems. :mad:
Rosey are you still hearing the hammering? I need some work done on the inside as well as the outside of our house. It's a never ending problem. I wish I had a answer of a low-impact routine that would work for you. I think the pilates is good but I think you should consult your doctor first about what you should do. He may just want you to start out slow and walk a little distance at a time. Build up your time that way. I have been using the treadmill but I know you have a hard time with those things. I can understand why. You have to be very careful. :)
Kris, I'm still very jealous you are seeing Beth Moore. She is one of my favorite speakers. I am doing the bible study on the life of David she wrote again starting tomorrow in the ladies bible study group. I already have the book so I just pay for drinking the coffee. I was so excited the other night, Kris. I was surfing the net and on the lifeway site they have the cd from the Beth Moore conference in Atlanta that me and my three sisters went to! I am going to the local store and see if they have it there before I pay shipping on it. It is the exact one! You will enjoy it and if your mil has never heard Beth before, God will surely speak through Beth to her. It will be life changing.

Hello Everyone...I have been real busy today..We went to the Dr and Jim got a check-up with the Oncology Dr..Everything seems to be fine..They did blood work and said that was good..but Feb will be 1 year since the surgery and he has to havd a Cat-Scan and a chest xray..He will have that done on the 6th of Feb..He is not lookinf forward to that cause you have to drink that barrium stuff again...YUCK...Poor man but the scan will give him peace of mind and me tooo..It was a warmer day today in thelow 50's and then tonight it has gotten colder..Tomorrow night its suppose to snow..:cry:..I sure hope we dont get alot..but they really dont know untill it starts..
My neighbor goes on for surgery tomorrow..She is 78 . Its for her shoulder..so please say a prayer for her.. Thanks.. I am gonna make a chicken cassarole and take it over. He sister is there to help take caer fo her..She is 80..Can you beleive that..He sister gets around sooo good..its unreal..I tell her that I hope if I make it to 80 I can get around just like her..plus she doesnt look her age either..Thyeare both soo sweet..
I was a good girl tonight..We went to this All-You-Can-Eat place..I have chicken and baked potato and alot of veggies...No Dessert and No bread..which was a really something for me as they were homemade..I was really proud of me...and Jim was good too..we are trying..Its never easy but we are trying....

I did they nail thing too for years and I finally said enough..To much money and you have to watch them and be so careful about fungus and all of that..it really wasnt worth it to me anymore..so I stopped getting them..
I have a Dell and I always wonder how a almost new computer can have so many probs.. I know that any brand can do this but..it sure makes you wonder.. I always wanted a home made quilt..One day I will buy one...You are doing the best that you can with the exercise thing Rosey.. The hand weights are a good thing and a little walking when you can..but not in the cold or snowy-or ice covered deck...BURRRRRRR
The bungi-cord thing is good to..cause thats something you can do sitting or standing..I watched a woman on TV doing this in a sitting postion with a bar with a bungi on it..It was really neat..She said no matter your physical condition you can use this..If I see it again I will get the web address for both of us...You have to be careful and do what you can as long as you dont hurt yourself..I know how hard it is to do it... Its very hard for me too..

Good Morning Sunshines!

I hope all are well. Things here are ok. I have been to the gym the past 2 days. The Mardi Gras Ball we are going to is about 7 1/2 weeks from today. I found a dress I want to wear, but I need a major overhaul before that can happen :lol:

So I am going to the gym everyday but Sunday and doing walking away the pounds on Sundays. I have developed an eating plan. I am doing 20 sit ups and 20 pushups each night as well as some weight training. Yuck :drill: I need hime to keep me going. Can you tell I really like the dress?

It is amazing what a dress can do for you. Suddenly you are willing to work for it just to look good at a dance. HA!

Elena's actual birthday went well today. I took cupcakes to her class at lunch time and they all enjoyed it. Elena had to wear nice 'grown up" jewelry today to school. When I got there at lunch her teacher told me she had to take the rings away because she was so obsessed with them it was keeping her from doing her school work. LOL She seemed so happy about her birthday today and the party will be Saturday and the family get together sunday afternoon. Thank you for wishing Elena a happy birthday. I can't believe she is nine now. I think I've mentioned this before but Elena looks forward to her birthday all year. I think because she's an only child it is just nice to have all that extra attention maybe. Anyway, she is spoiled and it's ALL my fault. :yikes: :dizzy:

Helle Everyone...I am pooped... Had a busy day... Alot of phone calls and laundry..Went out and ran some errands..Grocery and Costco....I am sooo disapointed..I thought the bike at Costco had untill the 27th of this month to take off 75.00 seems that will end this Sunday and there is NOOOO way we can afford it untill towards the end of the month.. I sure will hate to pay a extra 75.00 for it..but I dont know what we will do yet..
It is sooo cold..its calling for snow in the early hours into Thursday...I sure hope we dont get alot of accumilation....My neighbor made it through her surgery today..She is home and I got her some Strawberry Ice cream she asked for..and tomorrow I am making a chicken pot pie for her..She loves home made pot pie..She doesnt seem to be in alot of pain and thats a good thing.. I am so happy she is alright and not in pain and at home...

I called a few places today and they were outragious..800.00..unreal... This is when I could kick myself for not taking sewing seriously in school..The ones that are pre-made do not have cushion covers and thats what I want.. All I wanted was wash and put back on the furniture..but so far no luck..:shrug:

I will catch up on posts later today hopefully. Donna I managed .5 pound loss this week and the stress is unreal. Dh is back at work today and tomorrow and we think the blazer is driving ok for now. It was the air conditioner compressor acting up and he just unplugged it.

Brett is sick. He was sent home with a temp of 100.4 at noon yesterday from school and he had nausea and body aches. Later in the day his temp climbed to 104.3. He even has a sick smell on him this morning but his temp was normal. He's still asleep and I imagine he will be out of school so I can have him checked. Logan seems to be acting slightly like it so I hope when they get up that things are better. I will try to get in later.
