I am sorry that I have not been here..Has anyone else had trouble trying to get in here..I tried earlier and could not..I swear my computer is :crazy:
I am tired.. I had to take my neighbor to work and pick her up after I went to the gym tonight..She has a brand new Akia..Not sure if I spelled that right but It would not start.. My Hubby knew what it was when I told him..Seems she had the steering wheel locked up.. After we picked her up he got it started with no prob.. She said I guess it needed a mans touch.. :lol:
She is almost 80..and really gets around good.. She is a retired nurse and works part time in a nursing home..She likes to keep busy...
Had a good work out at water class tonight.. I am tried..
Its been so hot here..I cant get over the temps.. We have had our air on..Its been in the high 90's....... Unreal...
They are calling for rain over the weekend..So maybe it will cool it off some..Oh yes I weighed myself and I have lost a total of 14 pounds so far...

You are right Donna.. I am sorry that I did forget that Your Jim has to stay on blood thinners for his heart valve.. I didnt remember that he had to stay on it for life.. I am sorry..He has been through alot and still has to keep a close watch on his valve.. You also have been through it with him..
I dont know why I thought he had to take blood thinners only for awhile..
Yes I am so happy too that they were able to help him.. I know how you feel there..I can relate in everyway.. My Jim has to see the Cardiolgist every year..and take a tread mill test..Its always a worry that things are alright.
They have come so far in things to help with heart surgery and meds and all of that..Thank The Good Lord for that...Yes we are looking forward to the pool this year..We really missed seeing everyone last year and the pool..We cant wait for opening day....I really like the new pool passes..They took my suggestion from the year before and put them on one of those bracelet spirel thingys...We will use them now from year to year.. No More cards to worry about losing every year..

Hi everyone..its been a long and busy day.. we have been getting ready for the garage sale..its actually my dd but i added some of our junk to it..id forgotton how much work they can be..then we went to my grandd,s school for a play she was in.. those little kndergarden kids are so cute..my grdd was a rooster and her part was"its time to get up cockdoodle do" a star is born :lol: the play was down on the farm..daphnee am so sorry your feelings were so hurt..my dh was like that too but i smarted up after all these yrs..i give him a list of things id like for all hoildays and of course the dd,s remind him..that way im not hurt..holidays just dont mean that much to him..its sorta like men are from mars :lol: glad you did so well on your sale hope we do too..donna sorry you were all alone in here again..i swear theres not enough hrs in the day any more :lol: ill bet you will be glad to get your dads house all packed up..i didnt get those pictures of the necklaces as the lady came and got them but am making more as there,s a store here thats interested in them..havent had time to make cards either :?: those cookies are called Bakers Breakfast cookie..i get them all the time but only eat 1/2 at a serving..i looked for a web address on the bag but there wasnt one.. heres a phone number tho1-877-899-1090..they are called Bakers Healthy Start Breakfast Cookie..hope that helps..hello to the missing ones dana kris and mr ken..((((((hugs))))))) rosey "wave"

Woohoo now we know the name. I at least had part of it right:lol:. For me the cookies were not worth the calories. I prefer the Slim-Fast bars. I just had a Strawberry Cheese Cake one and oh my talk about yummers! For me it is more satisfying my sweet tooth.:T: :T:
Summer I have to say congrats on the 14 pounds! My dear sweet sister I am reinspired for get my butt moving. I am so proud of Jim for losing 16 ponds as well!:cp: Give him my:love: for doing so wonderful on the weightloss. I can not belive you are having suck great weather! It was sunny today but like 68* is all. The same is forcast for tomorrow. I didn't have trouble getting on to the site today for a change. I also learned that how my comp would freeze with the pop up add? I come to the site and then leave before the add can come up. After that I am here scott free!:lol:I had to figure a way to beat the system.
Donna I forgot to tell you how sorry I am about your step mom not taking your gifts. I hope that they were saved so she can get them later on if she chooses to. When I left my ex I didn't take anything that he or his familyhad given me. Now I wish that I had because the stuff was mine and I did like it.
Rosey I would love to see your bead work when you are done with the next one. Did you ever get the camera figured out? I think I am going to start a secret stash and save for a camera for me. My camera is OK for outside shots in the sun but not upclose it isn't.

Hi there. I have a quick post. Robert is on a 1 day suspension now. He told a kid he was going to kill him today. He said he had his hand on a gun in his desk. He also said he was going to sneak up behind him and cut his head off. I am livid right now. I gave him a spanking with the wooden spoon and broke my spoon.:lol: OK it was an old cheap spoon. Jason will not be home until tomorrow morning or late tonight at the earliest. I am taking all toys from his room or rather he is taking them to the back. He is then when that is all done going to the neighbors to do some slave labor. I am just shaking I am so pi**ed. Sorry but I needed to vent to my friends. It is sunny today at least and I have been back OP since Wednesday now.

Daphne the camera I bought on ebay was used but was a samsung and it is really good. A lot better than my HP was. I think my HP camera may just need a camera card in it but not sure. I haven't checked it out yet. I commented on your situation with robert on the other thread. I hope that something can happen for you. We would really be the closest sisters if you lived near me cause we have so many similiarities and I could use an older "sister". :)

Donna I did see the pictures and enjoyed them. Keep it up! I can't believe how HUGE that house is for one man. Does he have plans to move all of you kids in it as well? I live in a 14 x 65 foot mobile home and there's 5 of us. I couldn't imagine having to actually ask "where someone is" . We can see it all from the living room. I think if all goes well with us, come income tax time in late Jan of next year, we may pay off the 401 k loan and get it back out and trade in this home for a double wide with my in-laws help. This thing is in their name anyway and we bought it new back in dec. 1993 and it's a 1994. My sister is building a house that looks pretty big on computer but she says its a 3 bed, 2 bath 1800 sq foot house. I know its only $83,000 house. Must be nice though cause she only has the one child to worry about. Oh well, off that soap box.

I have had one gain so far since really counting my carbs and it was 1 pound about 3 days ago. I knew it was because I had some potato salad and too much bread that day. Then I lost that pound the next day only to remain the same today and I even cut grass with DH yesterday (mostly on riding mower though.) I will watch the carbs a little harder today cause I want SO BAD to see 243 tomorrow. I havent' seen that number in years or any that come before it.

DH is pretty good. This is his long 3 day work weekend that he started this morning. His feet hurt some but not his back or legs. We got his initial bill from the hosp this week that they filed on insurance for about $5200 which wasn't as bad as we thought and I found out that they did a whole body scan on him in addition to the chest ct scan. They would have found anything in that scan if there was anything. I don't know why his feet hurt or what else to do with that. He works on concrete and has to stand nearly all of the 12 hours each day he works.

Summer I"m so proud of you for the exercise and weight loss. Will Jim make his goal come july? Is his Dr. proud of him as well? How are bert and buddy?

Rosey are you still "curving" on a regular basis? I bet you're really coming along as well.

Well this computer is acting stupid like it's going to shut off. My cursor will disappear and i have to make it come back. I had some kinda of virus warning this morning but did a scan to get rid of it. Maybe I need to reboot it. But I need to post this before it's gone.

Dana, I am so glad that your dh is doing good. Still don't know what it was? My Aunt was in the hospital with pains and thought she as well was having a heart attack then they suspected pancreas attack but both were ruled out. She had an MRI done and some other tests to determine if her surgery on her hiatal hernia/acid reflux disease surgery was to blame for the pains but she has yet to hear. So, it is taking a while to find out. At least it wasn't the heart or pancreas. :) My Dad's house is big, but it is deceiving on the pictures. Actually he is only using the first floor to live in. The second floor is mostly attic and storage. He is moving from a 6 bedroom house to a 3. His present house is around 4,200 sq. feet of living space so he is downsizing. I know it's hard to comprehend but I guess it's what ever you are used to. I hope that you will be able to do the double wide next year for you guys would feel nice with more room. How his new house is going to be you never have to wonder where people are because the heart of the house is in the center so you can see all around. I remember moving from out 1,020 sq. ft house to this house at the time (before the bonus room was finished out) to a 1,800 sq. ft house and thinking what am I going to do with all this extra space??? Well, ten years later looking around I think I found out! LOL :lol:

Hi everyone..am finally home.. our garage sale was a big flop.. cold weather..few sales(no customers) rain..froze my fanny off..we even offered free coffe and cookies..it was just one of those weekends..the dd did great last weekend but there was alot of stuff going on today to..sooooo we closed our sale about noon and then we went garage sale-ing ourselves but ours was really the nicest and every one said theres was slow too..so we will try again in a few weeks..may be by then ill have more closets cleaned out and more junk to offer..any ways im pooped so will have anap and then will check in later and address every one..hope you are all having agreat weekend((((((hugs)))))))) rosey :wave:

Dana and I have a friend on the other thread that was admitted to the hospital Thursday night. She was to have her gall bladder removed but was having pains for a while now. Her pancrease it swollen and they are working on getting her enzymes down to normal. They are at 1000 now and normal she said was 100. She is scheduled to have surgery today sometime. She is on a waiting list for today. If her pancrease is not swollen at time of surgery she will have the laproscipic on done, if it is swollen she will have the one where she will be cut into. Please keep her in your prayers today. Her name is Deborah and she is a single Mom.
This weekend was busy. Jason didn't come home until Saturday night. He still hasn't talked to Robet about his suspension. I am being a hard *** with it all.

Hello Everyone..
My weekend was good and hetic.. Had to look for Jim some socks that was made for people with diabetes..cause he has big calves that he needs these type of socks with real streachy material..and for big guys and of course they were expensive 10.00 per pair but he needs them..
I have to shop for him at the big and tall shop...He needs both..:lol:..
What A day..whewwww its hot and humid.. I am begging to believe that it will stay this way all summer..but I sure hope not..
I went to see Buddy today.. He is doing good..They are giving him some other kind of treatments not Chemo..The last time they gave him all that Chemo it almost killed him and the Dr. said his body could not take anymore for now..This meds has only a 20% cure rate or help but its better than nothing..He gets it intervenious just like the chemo. He goes to the drs office or hospital to get this new treatment...Its a 4 hour treatment..
His spirts are good and we made plans to get together with some other friends and have dinner this Friday evening..
He is a amazing person..and I pray everyday that he will beat this awful cancer..I also stopped by Berts and checked on her....She is doing good.
Her and Buddy live right around the corner from each other..But they dont know each other..isnt that something..I plan on taking her out for lunch this week..She needs a outing..it makes her happy..
Please keep both of them in your prayers...Thank-you all for being such wonderful and caring friends..

We are staying "OP" as they say Mon-Frid.. and on the weekends we have some what I call good food..:lol:..that way we stay on the program.. we also go to the gym Monday-Thursday..We decided not to do 5 days a week..It got to be to much.. Its a slow process but oh so worth it in the long run..

Hi everyone..cant beleave how fast the day has gone..1st went to curves and had a good work out..then shopping for my grdd b-day gift..they make such cute things for kids today and i had a hard time choosing but ended up with barbie stuff as amanda thinks barbies the greatest..then planned a b-day party for my mil.. set up the reservations and called everyone..she will be 83 on wed..so it was kentucky fried for dinner..but i pulled all the good stuff off the chix and had a small amt of coleslaw..my scales show ive lost another 5 # but since no scale weighs me the same im always skeptical..however i feel smaller and saw some pictures of me taken last week and i look smaller..so somethings working.. :lol: mr ken wtg on your loss..did you get your meds straightened out??kris you are the busiest person i know..summer i value your friendship too..daphnee when i get the hang of taking and posting pictures i will post my crafts..hope you get it sorted out with robert..donna thanks for starting the new post see you there..dana hello to you to awsome job on your dieting journey..well as usual this old ladys tired.. to early for bed.. but slippers nighty and a good book sound good.. will check in tomorrow(((((((hugs)))))) rosey:wave:
