I will submit my entry tomorrow.

I just wanted to say, Bagzie, I love Bruce Cockburn! Not only do I listen to his stuff... I even know how to pronounce his name!

This definitely isn't up to Bagzie's standard, but I never said I was a poet.

As I knocked on heaven's door
I was tempted by one dessert more
I couldn't say no
St. Peter said go
I'll spend eternity scarfing down S'mores

I have exactly one and a half hours to go until the weekend!!!I know this was a short week, but it sure didn't seem like it. Tomorrow evening is BUNCO! I get entirely too excited about it.

I leave next thursday for rodeo land. It will be hot and dusty. I will have to wear jeans and boots. Bleeh. Of course it won't matter after the first margie anyway. At what age am I too old for this?

There's a hurricane going in Florida - is Cowpernia safe????

I'm only on page 19... How did I get SOOOO behind? (or such a big behind... it's kind of all the same.) Would gladly illustrate book! Must get to work on comfort food series.... Or perhaps blue plate specials... Suggestions welcome!
(it is really really hard to paint anything brown and have it look attractive. Chocolate is just SO temperamental!

Bagzz... brilliant.... Who'd 've thought of Robert Frosting!!!

Perhaps Jonathan Edwards (or whatever the Beyondo guy's name is) can make contact with some eclairs that have passed over to the other side.... Or canolis... or tiramisu?

There once was a woman named Pat,
Who loved carbs so much she got fat:
Pies, Cakes and Fudge
"til she could not even budge,
And all that still fit was her hat........

I can see the painting now.....

(Sorry if anybody's named Pat. )

Default If I make a contribution, will you move to my thread?

I have no time to write a poem regarding eating after death. I feel, and I'm sure my professor at Sweet Briar would agree, that Dante said it best:
Canto VI
46 Ma dimmi chi tu se' che 'n sì dolente
47 loco se' messo e hai sì fatta pena,
48 che, s'altra è maggio, nulla è sì spiacente».

49 Ed elli a me: «La tua città, ch'è piena

That sounds a lot like all of you, colpa de la gola. I'm having dessert as I write. I love chocolate. I also have to get my beloved Ex-Lax off shore. They have weakened it due to threats about colon cancer. I believe my life would be perfect with no colon. As it is, my digestive system is shrunk to nothing. Even so, I'm up to a bottle of Ipecac every day. I suppose some of us just have to work harder at it than others.
Now that I've contributed, will you move over to my post? AND answer my question. I'm leaving for Paris, but I'll have my laptop and will check in for your answer.
Fondly,
Letty

You should do that Painty! And Bagz too. Once I get some more ebay-ing under my belt, I can become an official ebay selling agent, and I will sell them for you.

Rushing right over to Letty's.
