I thought wisdom was beating any subversive thoughts into submission. Avoidance never seems to get me where I want to go...

LowHigh, good luck with mri.

Sug-- am aspiring to be gingerly. they always remind me of stories about mandrake root... but that's more like viagra than a "pleasant spice."

Off to the drinking fountain... and maybe Central Market to pick up some pre-cooked dinner so I don't get tempted by left overs or the fast food drive thru.

Ciao, y'all.

I have to work today. I am going to take pictures of little tap dancers. I hope they turn out good.

I feel way better than I did a couple of weeks ago. I feel almost as good as Muffie did when they let her out of the big house. I don't know why she's so defensive about that. 1 out of every 46 Americans have been in prison. It's really common.

I am trying to figure out why I'm not being notified. There is no good reason. I guess I'll just have to check here every few second ON MY OWN to see who has posted.

Talking Just checking...

...to see if Cowpernia is still checking. I've always wanted to learn how to tapdance.

Are you sure that the address that you have in your profile is the one you currently use?

And what happened to you--you disappeared from AIM

I want to be ginger now. Maybe I'll dye my hair "ginger" -- what color is that anyway?

No really, Loh, you are the Goddess, I mean I never actually cleaned my house or followed my lists. I am merely the computer wonk that keeps the bad people off the mailing list.

Bagz, that's exactly what I do with Flylady. The only cleaning she inspires me to do these days is clean out her email from my hotmail account.

BAGZIEEEE. You are so funny.

I am following Dr. Maltz this week. I like him better. His book is older. Like me.

Yes, Sugar, I am checking. You are a good girl. Post post post.

Maltz? I'd prefer Dr. Hot Fudge Sundae.
and I don't want to cheat, I just do it.

Got stuck at work. Intended to be at home by now, lounging on LR sofa reading my book... instead I have to go to the bank and market for something for dinner....

But I helped some people unexpectedly... AND they paid... so that's cool. Happy weekend almost.

Cowie... I only get notified of journal postings... not message board postings....

strange bunch we are becoming

Here's stress for my little darling:
She is trying out for the Jazz Band, playing electric guitar. She signed up on the first day of school and the director gave her a piece to prepare. She is supposed to audition tomorrow morning. The music is really the piano part with just the names of the guitar chords, and the jazz chords are so foreign to her that she spent all afternoon trying to work them out (she plays classical and rock). I tried to play the piece on the piano, but honestly it didn't sound like anything. We downloaded 2 versions of it from the internet. Finally DH got hold of this guy in the next town who gave DD a few lessons on electric before she went to music camp and he agreed to go over this with her this evening.

So I am sitting here enjoying the quiet (DH drove her there)

What should I do? Queer Eye doesn't come on until 10. Jennifer Capriati is playing tennis, but really I don't think I enjoy watching her. She looks like a tree trunk.
