Hello :smug:

Breakfast = Egg on multi-grain muffin, tea.
Lunch = Almonds & peaches, water.
Supper = Yogurt, water.
Snack = Chocolate candy bar.

I just wasn't very hungry today, dealing with stress :( My weekend will be back to normal & happy. I won a Fitbit walking challenge :carrot: yesterday by 118% of the goal steps, 4 others did it ages 22 yrs-51 yrs old. Geesh I have bad arches & I need better sneakers & I have a old knee injury problem, so I was surprised when I won another challenge from younger girls again :o

Corinna... you are very lucky that you can walk your doggy daily :smug: We have lots of ragweed everywhere surrounding us out in the country so I can't walk my 2 girls until it freezes/dead because of my allergies.

Renee... your shrimp scampi with sugar peas made me hungry :p We didn't get our garden tilled early enough to plant peas this spring. What variety did you plant ;)

I hope everyone has a healthy weekend

1/2 hr. evening barn chores

Meals
oatmeal
pretzels
tomato and cheese sandwich

Well, it was a disaster. Gained 1 lb. I need to cut out the carbs and eat smaller portions.......

Dee - the variety of sugar peas was Weis brand LOL I do have a lot of stringbeans planted. Hopefully they will make it before the weather turns colder.

Have a great weekend!

Exercise-
1 hour jog with dog
1 hour of yardwork

Meals
Br-berry drink with toast, banana
Lu-deli slice, chex mix, watermelon
Su-mock fish sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and cheese

My weigh-in showed I am down 2 lbs.

Renee-I know you can do this too.
You have in the past. Stay focused. You are eating good food.
Perhaps it is the portion size. Remember you are eating for one.
If you are eating until you get stuffed, then that is too much.
Perhaps it was just some extra water weight due to all the work
you have been doing. I bet next week things will look better.

Dee-Congratulations on winning the Fitbit challenge. Keep at it.
Chocolate candy bar!!! :yikes:Yikes. I can't touch anything like that and
lose weight.

Renee3 08-28-2016 06:44 AM

1 1/2 hrs. morning barn chores
1/2 hr. painting trim

I need to focus more on my choices. I know what to do...I just don't seem to have any will power. I will try harder this week.

Corinna :bravo: with your -2# LOSS :dancer: :cheer3: :goodscale

Renee :carrot: :cheer2: for your wonderful :broc: eating :smug: and being active daily!

I started W.Watchers online Friday & their program is better Now than it was when I visited a meeting a few yrs ago.
Saturday foods=

Breakfast = Egg w banana pepper & chilli seasoning.
Lunch = Salad w tomatoes, bell peppers, chives, cucumbers & low-fat buttermilk dressing.
Supper = I repeated my salad & I added black olives & Hormel Canadian bacon (very thin ham disks, the size of pepperoni) WW guide says 10= 1 point :p
Snack = Hershey kisses.
I have lots of food points left over. It's helpful to use W.Watchers as my daily nutrition guide. ;)

Have a nice week :D

Corinna T 08-28-2016 08:40 PM

Exercise
1 hour walk with dog
30 minute walk with dog

I didn't exercise as much as I wanted to do today. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day.
I feel bloated today. I look it too. Probably due to the chex mix.
I've got to work on my stomach muscles.
It looks like there are none left, and my gut is just expanding. Ugh.

Renee-how did your horse shows work out for you this weekend?

Dee-good for you for joining Weight Watchers. I hope they can motivate you to reach your goal.

Renee-I use to love going to the Allentown Fair with my Grandparents. We had so much fun there. I miss them so much. I hope you have a good horse show on the 11th. I think watermelon makes me feel bloated after eating it. Perhaps it is an allergic reaction. I have eaten it twice just recently and both times I felt horrible later. So I will avoid it for a while. How are you doing on your portion sizes?

:dust:

miniDoodles 08-30-2016 05:32 AM

Corinna, you aren't alone with the watermelon bloat :( That's how Dh & I both felt this summer. We just thought we ate too much. But it's so much healthier for us than processed foods.
