Toyota Highlander it is. I love it so far. Oceanside blue color or something like that. Looks like gray blue. C likes it too. Spent a little more than I wanted but oh well. Took nearly all day. Breakfast at our fav pancake house then the dealership. Home at 3. Watching kiddos while sis goes to yoga. Posting and getting dinner for the kids.

Hugs

Afternoon
I am glad that the rain has decided to move out for the moment. I had to drive through some water on my street today when I went to Walmart. The fields are flooded to the point that the water was touching the road. I'm still on the fence about going to Paragould to visit with my cousin. It will definitely depend on the rain. So much has flooded and I'm so concerned with her driving.
My sinuses are a lot better today but my throat is a little sore and I have started coughing but not all the time. I always keep something on hand to take in emergencies at night and I've decided that Mucinex sinus and nasal congestion is about the best over the counter I can get that works for me. I do have to keep an eye on my blood pressure when taking this.
Purchased a new thing called Roku t.v. It isn't as good as I thought and I think these show are with out commercials. This requires internet access or Wi-Fi and I have the Wi-Fi. Why pay for both cable tv and Wi-Fi! I was griping to myself about getting our local channel access that I keep forgetting I can watch that on my computer if needed. I could probably watch some of my programs from my computer but I'm going to try this also. You pay for only what you watch. You can also rent or buy movies. There is one movie I want to watch. Of course it's a Charlie Brown movie. I almost bought it today at Walmart. I'm trying to plan ahead for my retirement. I will be using rabbit ears or maybe an antenna when I move.
-------

Laura
It was nice that your bf took the initiative to help with the rx situation. And sorry that he threw out his back. I'm impressed with the amount of time you can hold the planks.

Annie
I'm so happy that you got the vehicle. I think you will enjoy it.

Susie
I'd be having an anxiety attack if some one gave me that much work in that short of time. Kudo's to you. I can't force myself to get up at 5 in the morning to exercise. Good job on meeting your step goal

Morning all,

Tried to get on here twice yesterday and got distracted. Lost my post in the meantime too. It's supposed to be a gorgeous day today - we were going to go for a drive but I really should stay home and take care of some things around the house. I have been out all week long and it's so hard for me to come home mid day and get going on things. DH is ok with this, he said he has some stuff he should be working on also.

I skipped weigh in yesterday. We stopped at a place for lunch after therapy and I got a patty melt which while good, did not sit well on my stomach at all. Made me sick up to the point where I went to bed. I almost got up and spent the night upright in a chair (reflux) but fell asleep while I was pondering it. The yoga teacher had me talk with the gym owner about a nurse practitioner she went to in the town I am doing therapy in. The CNP specializes in Lyme Disease. I placed a call 2 days ago to the office and she finally called me back yesterday. I was a bit suspicious - she asked if I had private health insurance or medicare. We only talked for a few minutes and she said it sounds like I have Lyme disease. I didn't think that I gave her enough info to make that kind of a diagnosis. She did say she wanted to do a blood draw and send it to a lab in California for testing. It would cost me $275 up front and I could submit it to my insurance for possible reimbursement. I think I will just make a follow up appointment with my regular doctor and check with her first. Somehow this other woman seemed too hasty - perhaps I am getting the wrong impression too. I feel just a tiny bit better today - the therapist did dry needling in one leg last week and the other yesterday - she could not get to the right spot as I have varicose veins that were in the way. I'm sure as soon as I change my doctor's appointment I will feel as wonderful as a sunny day!

Ceejay - I am glad the rain subsided for you. I hear it's pretty bad down south towards Mississippi. Good thinking on the Mucinex - now that things are blooming I would not be looking forward to the pollen and coughing of sinus issues. One of my friends has Roku - she likes it but I don't know what she exactly uses it for. I suppose anything is better than the expensive cable tv.

Annie - congrats on the new car. I'm sure you will love it. Get something that holds up well in the reliability department. I like the smaller size of the Highlander over the big 4Runner myself. Did you get any special toys in it like a back up camera?

Laura - loved your cat emogee =^.^= I'm going to have to remember that one. "Pre-computer era" what's that??? I would have to go back to being a kid again to remember that far. But you are right, we are so dependent upon technology now. One of the best things for me has been the electronic maps and Garmin and such. But I think we are too tech dependent - would be better to go back to the "old days". Sorry to hear about BF's back - sounds like you've had alot of stuff going on at your house lately. It's good that the weather is enjoyable for taking Coal out for a walk. Do you basically do the same area or do you switch it up a bit?

Susie - I would have had a fit if I had to transcribe 60 pages of notes in one day. They do expect the impossible from you. Too bad you keep delivering I'm glad you are still squeezing in some movement in your already busy day.

Hello Shad and Michelle

If I don't get off the computer I will fritter away the entire day. Have a good weekend everyone. I will check back later.

Morning all. TGIF! Temps are a bit chillier today, but still fine by me, and there’s sun, so that’s wonderful.

Annie – Congrats on the new vehicle. Take a couple of breaths of that new car smell for me! Enjoy the rest of your long weekend.

Ceejay – I saw your FB photo of the water on the road – yikes! It’s scary driving through that. I hope you’re not being forecast for more rain. There are so many options for watching tv programs and movies these days – it’s confusing. Bf and I have both cable and Netflix. I don’t really think either of us watch enough of Netflix for it to be worth it. Maybe we’ll drop it someday. Same for the Sirius satellite radio. I need to put in a hold request at the library for that Peanuts movie. I want to see it too.

Happy – Yeh, there’s always a lot to do around the house. And now there’ll be work to do outside as well! Yum, patty melt sounds tasty. Was it the onions that caused the tummy upset? Bf and I don’t like onions, so we always pull them off, but some of the flavor remains, which we like. If I do end up eating something oniony, I'll get heartburn from it. Gosh, Lyme Disease would be a pretty serious thing. Definitely go to your regular doctor if you decide to get tested for that. Re Coal’s walks – yes, I do change them up so that he can get new smells to sniff. And so I don’t get bored... If it’s not too wet, I’ll take him over to the creek area one day this weekend. Otherwise, I have a few different routes for the streets in our immediate neighborhood, including the park. Glad you liked the cat emoji – I think 3fc needs to add cat and dog emojis.

Hellos to everyone. Have a great weekend.

==
Yesterday I walked the dog again after work since bf’s back was still hurting him. At least it’s not totally dark by the time I get home from work and get the dog out. Still, I put the blinky light on his collar – he’s solid black, so he’s hard to see in the dark.

I did my plank challenge and I also did about an hour with the paperwork. Progress is slow. Yesterday’s stack was for a single credit card, but there were receipts and statements dating back to 2013. Sigh. Most of those will get shredded and I’ll only keep the receipts for major purchases. I need to learn to address the paperwork on a frequent basis, otherwise I’ll always be sorting through big stacks like this.

Nothing special planned this weekend. I’ll definitely be doing more paper purging. Spring flowers are starting to pop up from the soil. I see that the tulip bulbs I moved from one spot to another last fall are coming up nicely. We have a layer of wet leaves in some spots of the flower beds and I might get that raked out this weekend. And I’m sure there are weeds popping up as well, so I might treat the borders with some Preen to get a jump on them.

Oh, I almost forgot – I’m taking the day off on Monday. I carried over four days of vacation from last year and have only used one day so far. We’re supposed to use up carry-over vacation during the first calendar quarter of the year, so I may be taking another couple days before the end of this month. And now I can enjoy a relaxing Monday off work without having to go to Pilates in the evening.

That’s it for me. Toodles.

Good morning fine ladies,

It looks to be a beautiful, sunny day today. We went to dinner last night - a favorite bar just down the road from here. There is an eagle's nest high up in one of the trees. Their nests are HUGE - about 9 feet across. We spotted this nest about 2 years ago and have been watching it ever since. I'm not sure it was used last year. It was empty as we passed but then we saw an eagle flying through the air. As we were returning back home, it was sitting perched on the edge of the nest looking all majestic and such. I swear I will always be awestruck when I see an eagle. It's still strange to me to see them sitting on the side of the road eating just like a common crow. Our snow is melting, there are still patches in the shade. We are watching for the bears to wake up which should be soon. They have been spotted just east of here. This is always dicey - they will be VERY hungry and we don't want to encourage them so we stop feeding the birds and deer and turkeys (sorry fellas). However we have Chester, the lame deer who comes every day for easy food. It is so sad to see this poor baby struggle. He seems to have adapted and is doing ok with regular feedings but I don't know what will happen when we stop the food and he has to forage for himself. For our regular guys who are not afraid of him, he will occasionally put out just one cup of food (instead of the usual gallon piles). That gets eaten straight up in one session leaving no residue. We can't do that with Chester. And I'm sure it's a long and painful journey for the poor guy (and he is a guy since we saw the nubs of antlers yesterday) - just to get to our place from where ever he beds down. Oh well, life in the woods.

I have to work at the shop this afternoon. I will go early as the farmer's market is in town and I need to pick up eggs and some meat and a loaf of the Menonite lady's wonderful multi grain bread.

Didn't get as much done as I wanted to yesterday. I did call my doctor to try and get an appointment. The front desk/scheduling is like the armed front that no one breaks through. Sorry - there are no appointments available, she is booked through the end of April. I had to leave a message for the triage nurse. They got me in a bit earlier in 2 weeks time. I want to talk to her before pursuing the other Lyme's practitioner. Oh and the ticks are waking up too as well as the bears Every time I went into the basement to continue working with my cleaning task, the darn phone would ring again! I know today is going to fly by also.

Ceejay - I hope the water is starting to recede and you don't have to make the drive to Paragould.

Annie - take that new car out for a drive and enjoy the trip.

Laura - yes, it was the onions that bothered me on the sandwich. Doesn't stop me from eating them though. That and occasionally cooked tomatoes and mayonaise - but not together of course. How nice that your transplanted tulips took off. I planted about 100 bulbs one year when I lived in AH and the blasted squirrels dug most of them up and took a bite out of them and left them strewn across the lawn just to taunt me. I hear you on the paper purging as I look at 3 boxes of stuff I saved and I don't know why. Old habits die hard. Rarely have I actually ever needed anything I save. Good luck with finishing your project.

Susie - I sincerely hope you don't have to spend your weekend doing catch up work.

Shad - hope you get some sun after the much needed rain. Go mulch that garden. When are you starting the next contract?

Michelle - hope you can get out to do some training this weekend.

That's it for me. Have a nice weekend everyone.

Morning all,
The days pass so quickly that I forget that I haven't posted in here. So what is happening here? Well all sorts of things, mainly that the people who are doing the paperwork and search for this new job take their time and that the woman I will be working with is still having on going problems with them and she has been there much longer than me. So the answer to the question - when does my next contract begin is...........how long is a piece of string. E was hoping for after Easter, but I can't see that happening now. Still it lets me get on with the house and the garden along with everything else.

My youngest nephew is getting married in June. I have family coming over from NZ and am currently trying to find accommodation and child seats for cars and things like that for them. My sister will be here for a week, my niece and her husband and baby will be here only 4 days. It will be nice to see them but a bit of a nightmare to organise especially if I will be in Sydney for part of that time.

Laura - I haven't started using the laundry balls yet. I have some laundry liquid that I should use up first. However I will probably just use up the bottle I am currently using and then try them out. Apparently they will do 200 washes before I need to change the pellet things inside and the starter kit comes with another 2 bags of pellets plus a get-rid-of-the-stain stick. And there isn't the need for rinsing after the wash which if it works should save me a lot of water as well. I will keep you informed. Someone said (Annie??) that they were rough on clothes. I can't see how because the balls are smooth and the pellets which are slightly rough are inside the balls and then there is the spongy outside ring to stop them from banging on the drum of the washer. My friend in NZ says hers work very well and she is happy with them so I will test them out. Plenty of washing here to do just that.
I like the sound of the blinky light on the dog. Might make it easier to notice the ODDU sneaking up on me. He can be very silent when he wants - as can the black cat who repeatedly sneaks up on me, usually about the time I am asking the other cat where he is. Hope you have a good day off this week.
Hope b/f's back is better now. That prescription must have gold in it to be that price. Nice of the b/f to go in to bat for you. I'm sure you will be changing the prescription provider next time around.
I don't so much look fondly back at the pre computer age. I really do at the pre-phone age. I'm about ready to put DS2's and his g/f's phones down the loo. I wonder if they work out how much time they waste on that square of plastic!

Happy - Not just the cats that can turn on or off the features of the keyboard. I can do it myself just by picking up the laptop and carting it around with the lid open and my fingers splayed out on the keyboard. Took a technician at F&P an hour to sort out what I had done. Then he explained it to me. All to do with the FN and Windows keys at the bottom of the keyboard and the function keys at the top. We actually wrote a document about what each would do if we pressed this or that.
I googled Lyme disease. Sounds nasty. And caused by tics?????? Apparently it is hard to diagnose as the symptoms are similar to many other diseases, but they also called it Lupus which to me is something that appeared to be fashionable some years back and is now largely forgotten. I sincerely hope you haven't got this thing.
The eagles nest viewing would be nice. I remember seeing an osprey nest when I was on the Rocky Mountaineer. It was huge as well but maybe not quite that big. The predator birds are wonderful. Just love them. We have several wildlife parks here with predator birds like owls, eagles, hawks etc. These birds have been rescued because they were sick, injured or out of their space. Some of them are rehabilitated back into the wild, but many can't return so are used to demonstrate the wonderful things they can do. You can actually glove up in some of them and have the birds sitting on your hand while the handler prepares to feed them.

Ceejay - Hope the water has receded and you are not flooded in anymore. That can be a bit of a nightmare. And the stink when the water recedes is just awful. Hope the sinus headache is well gone and you are feeling better. Nice to have someone to go and see, other than your sister during Easter.
You are more inventive that I with the tv thingy (Roku??) I just get pay tv. Once I have something installed and it works, I don't bother going looking for different or cheaper or whatever.

Susie - drowned in work. Well what else is new? You just take on everything and anything that is thrown at you. And you get through it, probably at your own expense. I only hope they pay you well for the slavery.
Well done on getting in the exercise.

Annie - new car! Well done. Sounds lovely. Toyota is such a good brand (well mostly) as well.

And that is about it for now. It is raining again so I can get into the 3rd bedroom and prepare to put some of stuff in there up in the roof space. DS2 managed to fix his ute and it is now in the driveway. At last he has transport again. Now to get that #$%@% court case (over the vehicle he bought to replace the ute) finished and done with. Never rains but it pours.

Cya

I decided to go to Paragould. The roads were not bad at all. Just a lot of water in the fields. The water was up to the top of one bridge and if I had gone yesterday I would have been caught in water over that bridge. It was foggy but was good visibility. My uncles planned to eat because my cousin was there. Don't think they told her, because she acted surprised when I told her. We had a good turn out of cousins. 2 of which I hadn't seen in a while. This cousin is from TN. He had come down to visit with his dad who has the broken hip. I had contacted another cousin and he and his wife mother and sister came too. Afterwards my girl cousin and I went to see my uncle in the hospital. He's really in the rehab part of the hospital. After this I went out to visit with my aunt but she was asleep so I visited a while longer with my uncle.
Didn't have any exercise minutes so I rode the bike for a full 20 minutes. It helps to watch tv while I'm riding. Makes the time go by faster.
-----------

Happy
I hope you don't have LYME disease. My cousin was so sick with that for a year before the doctor found out what it was. He had flu like symptoms for a long time. And I will have a friend after I move to Missouri.

Shad
Maybe one day you will get to start to work. Enjoy the remaining time off. Oddu will miss you when you leave.

More later. I'm going to watch the news and go to be. I really need to be more diligent about going to bed on time.

Afternoon all. It’s a chilly, dreary, rainy day here today and it’s nice to be inside sitting on the sofa with a throw over my lap. But the furnace isn’t kicking in, so I guess I’ll have to bump the thermostat up a few degrees to get it more comfortable in here. My feet are cold. Another hour or so and I’ll have to get out with the dog for his walk. Yuck.

Happy – It must be so fantastic to see the bald eagles up where you are. Poor Chester. I hope he can struggle through and fend for himself. Re the bulbs – I think some rabbits were trying to feast on the tulip foliage, so last week I pulled out the hot sauce I’d put into a spray bottle a few years back for the purpose of keeping the critters away from my flowers. Of course the sprayer didn’t work right then, so I just poured the sauce out of the bottle. I’ve soaked the sprayer, but that only seems to help intermittently. Something must keep clogging it. I guess this sprayer isn’t suitable for hot sauce.

Shad – Sounds like you might need a bell on the cat, and the dog too. You’re certainly busy getting ready for the influx of family in June. Maybe it’s good you have a bit of time before you start your next work assignment. As for the prescription, my employer has made it mandatory for us to use this particular rx provider (mail order rx co) for everything except the 1-time/short term rx’s. Not happy at all about that, but I imagine the penalty of using a local pharmacy is paying even more. A cheaper drug is what’s needed. Oh gosh, how awful that your son’s case re the lemon vehicle is still not resolved.

Ceejay – I’m glad you were able to get to Paragould without too much trouble. How nice so many family members were also there to visit with. Good job on your exercise minutes on the bike. I agree, watching tv while riding the stationary bike or treadmill helps the time go by. I couldn’t do it without a tv, or maybe podcasts on the phone. This past week has been bad for me for getting to bed on time – I have to work on that this week.

Hellos to the rest of you.

Been a rather ho-hum weekend. I did some paperwork purging in the home office yesterday. This is taking a good long time. I also went through a bunch of catalogs yesterday and got rid of most of them. I could have sworn I’d been through them more recently…they sure do accumulate!

Today I took a couple loads of laundry to the laundromat. The washers I use there don’t seem to spin out nearly as much water from the clothes as our machine did. Makes it so heavy to lug back home, and longer drying times in our own dryer or on the line and racks I use at home. Bf checked with the appliance store late last week and it doesn’t sound like we’ll get our new washer/dryer any time soon. All because he had to have the color red. Sigh. And the part needed for his laptop is also delayed so it’s going to take a really long time to get it back…unless he can push them to give him a new laptop. This is frustrating.

Nothing else to report so I’ll get this posted. Enjoy what’s left of your day.

Laura
I thought that you had the new washer and dryer. I know that taking the clothes to the laundry mat can be a pain. I still purge every so often but now I need to see if I can pack certain things for the move in August. I would like to have some different and more sturdy shelves for the rest of the nick knacks and books that I have left. The ones I have are cheap and not very durable. Right now they are serving a purpose.

------
Work today has been okay. Not looking forward to when the next front arrives supposedly in a couple of hours. Hope I'm home by then. We are under a tornado and flash flood watch. It's been a beautiful spring day so far. Paragould had more color than we have. My uncles drive way was beautiful when I drove up to the house. I should have made a picture.

Back to work Monday...Bleh! Didn't have time to get Sunday afternoon blues, thank goodness.

Let's see...after spending most of the day at the dealership getting the new car on Thursday, went home and babysat the boys while Sam went to yoga. We hand a wonderful time with the boys. The new car has all the bells and whistles. Electronic start, camera, talking GPS, third row seating, speaker system that puts you on like an hands free intercom to the back of the rig so you can talk back and forth. Heated and cooled leather front seats. It is the loaded Highlander Limited. Certainly my last car purchase. We signed over Cs 2003 Dodge Durrango to the Sam so we are down to one car and a box truck.

Friday Sam, boys and Ainsley, C and I went to the Children's museum. Whew what a lot of kids that were there on field trips and the BIG 10 championship being hosted by Indy, a lot of sports moms (hubby at the games, mom and kids at the museum) were there. We arrived at the museum around 10 and left around 2:30. We had a really good time, and Royce (2 yrs) actually enjoyed it and got into all the different exhibits. Of course the boys were most excited about the Teenage Mutnant Ninja Turtle exhibit. I am hear to tell you my knee and ankle were screaming in pain by the end of that day.

Saturday was leaving my house at 8 am, picking Samantha up, heading out to purchase birthday food and supplies for Royce's 2nd BD party that evening at 5. Dropped Sis off at about noon, went home rebooted myself and headed out to pick up the helium balloon bouquet. The theme for the party was TMNTs (see prior paragraph). Came home and made cheese dip in the crocker with rotel tomatos/chilies and browned up some hamburger and onions. Also added a bit of garlic just for fun. Tossed that all together and warmed. Was tasty. Made homemade buttermilk ranch dressing that Royce calls dip and dips most anything in, such as french toast sticks. Yuk. The party went off without a hitch, food was delish, and the kids had a great time.

Sunday was church, then picked up Sam as my friend from Texas was in town at her mommas. We went and spent a couple with them, then to Murphy's to have a wondeful portabello mushroom patty melt. Delish.

Will come back for personals.

Hi ladies,

Been busy....and sleep deprived. I'm house and dog sitting for a friend (Bob's sister)...and while her dog is super sweet, she's been very restless the past few nights, up every hour or two. Only two more nights for me there. Then home to my bed where my dog sleeps through the night.

After spending a few hundred at the car repair, I spent about $1,000 between two vet visits a week apart. Some signs point to one or two treatable non-serious conditions. Hopefully when I get the blood test results in a few days, they'll show nothing wrong with my baby boy...or at least nothing serious.

It's been so cold and rainy lately that even when it's not rainy, it's bone-chilling damp cold that makes it hard to run outside. I don't mind running on the treadmill for a mile or two or three or even four....but it's so darn boring that it's hard to run for more than an hour on the treadmill, even while watching back to back episodes of one of my fave TV shows (The Big Bang Theory) at the gym.

I'm planning on going running with a friend of mine on Wednesday. She's a much better, much faster runner. I'm doing a 10K with her on Sunday, though she's going for a personal record so I doubt I'll be running with her during any part of the race.

I've been down in the dumps lately...could be due to a little bit of weight gain, or not eating well, or the fact that we haven't seen sun since last month, or that I'm way behind on my training. Currently with the distance (or lack thereof) or speed (or lack thereof) that I'm able to do, I think the bus just might sweep me up for going too slow on the course. They do that at the Run Disney events because they want the race to be over before the park opens.

I'm sorry I've been so behind on personals. I hope y'all are doing well.

Ceejay, I hope you're not affected by the flooding.

Annie - Do we get to see photos of the new car?

Love and hugs,

Afternoon
What an awful night with the hard steady rain and even a tornado warning. Needs to say I didn't sleep until all that was over. We didn't get a speck of wind which was good. Think the warning was for the southern part of the county. I took as much cover as I could during the warning cause one never knows what to expect in those conditions. At least I wasn't at work.
My boss called while ago to tell me not to do the back wash procedure on the filters until we hit an 0.06mg/l in the iron. We are full up on excessive amounts of rain water. The rain water goes down through the storm drains which are connected to the sewer pipes. I had a .04 iron level in the iron this morning so I waited until my next filter reached 16.00 hours run time which is all we can do with out getting an abundance of iron. Customers have been calling about their toilets not flushing good. This is why.
I knew that R was going to leave and go back to TX but this morning he told me that D quit Friday.

I get in these moods some times too. I which I was as accomplished in the exercise mode as you are. I'm doing good at walking 10 minutes at a time. And my food intake is still not where it should be. I just get tired of doing all this but I keep telling myself I need to be healthy. Or I could borrow my uncle's cattle prod. I do have fait in you that you can do this race.

The party for Royce sounded like fun. Now you have me hungry for Mexican food. How many kiddo's were there? Or was it just a family affair?
Wow your new Highlander is loaded in all the bells and whistles. I'm going to check out the back up camera to see if the older models can have on installed. Think I would benefit from one.

Dang this site! I posted and didn't copy my post as this site has done well for the past couple of weeks...but not tonight!!!

I will have to post tomorrow...it is time to go to bed.

I'm trying hard to stick to my bedtime and exercise routine that I committed to. It's the only time I'm going to get to exercise through the week.

I worked in the office tonight until 8 p.m. and I'm weary.

There might be some relief next fiscal that will start in July. We sit down in May/June to do work plans my Director and AD know and have said that I have to much work on my plate.

I also had a bit of a heated conversation with my AD today...she got snippy and I came back with something that I had proof on was held up do to her unresponsiveness. She is like that all the time to everyone and I have been keeping track of it when it happens to me and when others send me notes that they emailed her and never heard back. I think she was a bit surprised at what I had accumulated waiting for her, what I handled myself and what was still needed from me and from others.

She asked why I didn't bring it up in other 1:1's and I had tracked since December how many times she told me she didn't have but 15 minutes for me or asked me to wait until next week. I usually try to schedule 30 min with her once a week but it never is that often or as much. So I email her and she doesn't answer back...not to me or to others.

I have been with her for 6 years and used to hand hold her all the time, but with supporting the Director as well, I don't have time to do that like I did. I still do a lot for her. She mentioned that maybe one of the other girls in the department should take her on...I'm thinking it might be a good idea. I want to grow in new areas and I need the space and time to do that.

She doesn't like me filling in for the VP's Admin but that is my next step in my career and the VP wants me to be the one to fill in for her Admin, so that is the way it goes.

Good night everyone!

Good Morning Everyone!

Late night last night. Met up with BF that is in the TX as well as other girls from HS, for dinner. What a wonderful time. One gal we had not seen in 20 years. I will try to post the pic of the 5 of us. We are all fat and sassy! lol.

Yesterday was a blur at work. Had to write my review. I thought of LAURA quite often as she just went through this. Why in the heck do we have to write our own review, well let me tell you, as my boss explained it, it gives us a chance to tell him how awesome we are. I said, that was a given on my part so just go with it. He chuckled about that. I dread it so much. Next year I am sending it to our on staff worldly writers HAPPY and CHELLE, to just make up a bunch of good "office" stuff about me. hahahhaha

Our fridge is making a weird noise and the ice maker will not work. She wonders how much $$ that is going to cost. OH MY...when the money wagon leaving town goes, it goes furiously fast, or as Jimmy Johns says, Freakishly Fast! bleh.

Ahhh the new car smell. Just sayin'!

FINALLY down 31 lbs since starting at WF 1 1/2 years ago. Looking a bit better but still want to lose another 23. Once I get to my goal, I push it out on how much total I want to lose. I know I would feel better at a little lower weight and my knees and ankle will thank me.

SUSIE...you are entirely too loaded down with work. I got your back on this one, have your Director and AD call me on this one. Sometimes I get all honked off at the crap they pull on you and it is not even my battle. Hugs and stick to your guns Missy.

CHELLE...get out of your funk and funky town. We will have none of that. You are one awesome woman, you can do anything you put your mind to, so get back to OP eating and love yourself. Wow I talk a good story and should listen to myself. Really you can do this sister, you and I know you can. May the force be with you! Hugs to you.

CEEG...your nasty tornado weather sounds much like Indiana weather. We are about to head into tornado season here. Like you, we have no basement or no where to go in these situations, except the bathtub, and really when a tornado hits, I NEVER see the bathtub in the ruins. Hang on to your arse and pray!

LAURA...um, why again did BF HAVE to HAVE the red washer/dryer? Isn't your laundry in the basement? Like who is going to see them? How much time does he spend in the basement looking at the red appliances? Maybe he should take a folding chair downstairs once the appliances arrive and just sit and look at them for an hour a day! lmfao.

SHADDIE...don't think it was me about the laundry balls beating your clothes, maybe HAPPY. On line the older balls looked to be rough outer edging, but the new ones, the ones you have, are smooth. It should all be good. Oh Boy, another wedding and a house full of guests. Will your ex be coming this time? lol.

HAPPY...Eagles are so magnificent. Just beautiful and a nest that huge, awesome. We have a few eagles in our area but do not know where they roost. Tis a strange area for them to be but they have been around like the past 3 years. There are some rather nice huge state parks with tall trees around, maybe that is where they are camping. BTW..tell DH I stopped by my brother's house over the weekend and the lighthouse picture was prominently display on the fireplace mantel. The butterfly pics are going in my living room. I took down a wall candle ornament, C has to patch the holes then the butterflies are going up there. I LOVE THE PICS!

Bout it for me, guess we have lost Terra and Dee. Make it a wonderful Tuesday/night all. Hugs!
