Hi Ladies. It's Saturday morning and we are hitting the ground running in this house!
My nephew, Asher turned 5 on Wednesday, and today at 12:30 is his birthday party at Chuckie Cheese. My brother informed me that 20 kids RSVP! I am taking some Tylenol before we go!!
I am getting my eyes checked this afternoon. I've been using reading glasses very regularly now when reading and on the computer. Time to see if I need the real things. I feel I see fine for distance and I'm not looking to wear glasses all the time. If that is what they recommend, I will then look into Lasik or maybe a mono vision contact. I don' ever want to wear glasses again all the time. I have enjoyed being without them for the past 15 years.
Laura: What sort of Podcasts do you listen to? Just think how nice your home office will look and feel with all the paperwork filed!
Good job on the planking!
Annie: Have fun at the Children's Museum. We went a few years ago with our friends who are raising their grandchild. It was a lot of fun. Your babies are going to love it.
It sounds like your days off will be busy next week, but a new car is exciting!
Shad: Glad to hear the skin exam went well.
Ok..got to run, and get a shower and square some things away in this house before we leave for the party. We have to drive 40 minutes to get there as well.
Morning
Didn't get a lot done yesterday but that's okay. I'm up and at 'em this morning.
My legs been sore the past couple of days so I didn't do any exercise. I will today.

Smart girl for taking the Tylenol before you go to the party. I'm not sure I could handle 20 kiddo's at one time.

Good morning ladies,
Tried to get back on here last night. Something is going on with the computer in that random keys just stop working. Last night the C and H keys would not type a letter. I have had that happen at the Thrift Shop also so I have no idea what's going on. I went to reboot my computer and decided to draw a soaking bath and after I got done with that as my body cooled down I got really sleepy and just headed off to bed for the evening.
Today is my 39th wedding anniversary. Time does fly. I can't remember being young anymore. Isn't that sad? We are going to dinner at the Italian restaurant tonight. They have DH's favorite swordfish and an appetizer - Italian rice balls with cheese. Not sure what I will get - the specials are steamed mussels and eggplant parmesan which I might try. Only concerned that sometimes they make the sauce spicy if the main ingredient is somewhat bland - kind of like their lasagna. DH likes it - too speecy spicey for me. And DH would not touch eggplant so it's a total waste if I cannot eat it. I'll ask tonight.
DH told me this morning that he got a short notice from his sister (he is estranged from his family) that his aunt died. She was 98. Aunt Helen was just a wonderful woman. She had the grace and manners that you just don't find in life any more. She always remembered birthdays and anniversaries. The last few years it was a one sided conversation - we'd send her letters with pictures which she enjoyed and the sad part is that she said we were the only ones who kept in touch with her. She lived in Connecticut and several of DH's siblings and their kids still live in the area but they didn't bother to visit with her. She is a legacy that will be greatly missed. She loved flowers - I told DH to fill the flower box outside this spring with pretty flowers as a tribute to her.
My knees are still killing me. I am getting so very tired of this pain already. Even aspirin is not helping. It's a catch 22 - part of this is because of a weak muscular structure but when things hurt this bad it's hard to rub a tennis ball in the leg to break up the muscle tightness or work on the bike. But... deep breath... keep plugging away. Weather is supposed to break and get warmer this upcoming week. I hope getting past the freezing mark will help with feeling better. And some sun. We could use some sun too.
Suzie - I hear you on the eyes. I think it's easier to wear glasses part time if you only need them for distance - like my Mom. I am in the same boat with close up - I need them a lot and am finding that I am becoming dependent on wearing them most all the time now as I am always needing to look at something. When I was wearing progressives (with near, mid and distance all in one) - I'd find that my near vision needed the most correction on a frequent basis. New glasses would last about 6 months before the near wasn't working anymore. So I wonder how well surgery would correct it? Have fun with twenty 5 year olds. I'm sure you'll sleep deeply tonight I'm glad they got the kidneys straightened out. I dunno - that stomach medicine sure plays heck with other stuff. I am like you - let's try and reduce the issue with other than meds. PLEASE STAND YOUR GROUND with the addtional work. For sure they will push as much as possible on you and your plate is already so full that you are choking. You will have to start dropping the ball on things to prove a point. Tell them you have sisters who have cattle prods and are not afraid to use them
Laura - I used to go to a gyn for lady stuff and an endrochronologist for the thyroid and now I have rolled them all into my gp whom I like a lot. Especially since she is more about overall health. I mean, unless you have specific issues - why bother with all those visits Especially if you are not thrilled with the current doc. Yay for you for sticking with the plank challenge!!! I hope you have a nice visit on Sunday.
Annie - you are very welcome. Wow - Royce is going to be 2 already!!! Still alot of snuggly fun in him even if it's not totally baby time. Hope you have a good weekend with the kiddos. I am thinking if you are having as much pain as me, perhaps alot has to do with weather also. I printed a list of 10 things to eat to reduce inflammation - have tried to stick with them each day but not making much different. And if it helps, ibuprofen ain't working either so don't fret missing out on that. Did you decide on a new car - did I miss something??? Funny story about C and the pizza. I like all of those ingredients (except the olives) but not so sure I'd like them all on pizza either. Was funny how he approached it to you
Shad - the egg lemon soup my friend made was delicious! Just like I remembered from long ago. However she did say it was rather labor intensive to assemble. I don't mind cooking but it sounded rather complicated even for me. Better to find a good restaurant which is a problem out this way in the bush. We have a Greek man who runs a family restaurant in town - he only makes one soup - a most delicious chicken dumpling soup. If anyone could make this - it would be him. I will have to ask but I already know the answer. I think we would all enjoy making soup at the commune. Will make sure we have an open stove for extra tall soup pots I am glad that all your tests and such still show you in great fighting shape. At this point, it's all about maintaining health.
Michelle - I love the idea of doggie birthday parties! I am surprised at how hard the shelter people work. Always something going on - truly a job filled with interuptions. God bless those people!
Ceejay - are you seeing blossoms and signs of spring already down by you? The yellow stuff is the first to bloom. I can't think of the name at the moment - was a favorite of a favorite aunt of ours. Always the first thing to burst in color. Get the tissues ready for allergies to come
Hello to the rest of the chicks. I really need to get off the computer and get something done around here.
Art class was fun. I bought some more art supplies. I found that gel pens are the best for adult coloring books. They don't bleed like markers and are more controlled than colored pencils. I also signed up for an online drawing class with a groupon coupon. It's by an English woman - I love listening to her. Oh and down another 1.5 pounds at weigh in. Slow but steady. I could have popped DH. When I said I lost 1.5 pounds, he said did they chastise you for ONLY losing that much???? Clearly he does not understand the struggle and I said no, we celebrate all losses no matter how tiny. We even celebrate no loss - all better than a gain and even then, sometimes that happens. DH will not be invited as an inspirational speaker
Tried to call my uncle last night to tell them I wouldn't be there this week end. No one answered but I did talk to him today. He said my aunt had a good MRI test result. He said the doctor's were pleased with the outcome of the chemo/radiation treatment. She will continue with the treatment. I asked him if she were getting sick and he said no just tired and wants to sleep. I was glad. sleep helps heal the body. He also told me that he had fallen a couple of times in the bathroom. He said he got tangled up on something. He's black and blue. He also told me that another uncle who broke his hip was doing good. The other hip broke by itself like the other one did. He's in rehab.
Texted with my friend who got married last year. May visit with her in a couple of weeks when I go to my sister's. She's on the way. I'll find out which hotel they are staying at and book a room and spend some time with them.
Don't know why my laptop keeps going from extremely small to extremely large. It must be window's 10.

Happy
I was curious since you have been having muscular problems along with the knee's if you had fibromyalgia? My friend in Jonesboro has this and suffers with it a lot.
Good Sunday morning to all the Wordlies(well, Sunday evening for Shad ).
I survived the party. Asher had a wonderful time. Everyone invited showed up. I observed that the little ladies in his class seem very taken with him. They all just kept hugging him and hugging him. He would roll his eyes when his guy friends were around but smiled at those little ladies when he thought no one was watching! It was funny to watch.
I did get a pair of progressive lens'. I think I will wear them a lot when I'm working on the computer, which with my work it about 12 hours a day! or reading a book, which I want to get back to doing. It is the one thing that truly relaxes me. I'm just happy to not be perching them on the end of my nose anymore and looking over the top of them at people. I don't know why but that made me feel so old.
I found out in my exam, that is just the left eye that is barely in a bifocal. My distance is still very good (so the Lasik is still working there).
Ceejay: I have got to get my exercise in today too. Did you get yours in yesterday?
It sounds like things are going pretty well with your Aunt and Uncles. Considering that as we age we seem to have more medical issues.
Happy: I hope you and Eric had a lovely anniversary. I loved the picture of you two you posted on FB.
Sorry to hear that you are still dealing with pain. I promise it will get better if you keep doing what they have told you to do.
Ceejay, mentioned fibromyalgia. Do you have it? I do and I know when I don't get regular sleep, and enough of it, I can really get to hurting.
Laura has inspired me to clean my home office, so I better get back to it. I'm almost done ,just need to clean up the computer desk now.
Afternoon.
I'm not sure why I've been taking naps this week end but I have. Took another one this afternoon.
Think my UTI is coming back so that may have a bearing on things. Haven't felt to good this week end.
I did go to church this morning. Haven't been to church here in awhile. They have a new young preacher.
Susie
No I didn't get in any exercise this week end. But I will this afternoon.
Glad you survived Asher's birthday.
One of the cats caught a mouse in the house. He played with it for some time and the last I saw of it was the pair of them disappearing under the chair and under the wall shelving. So I've spent the day shifting furniture, dusting, cleaning, getting rid of the spider webs and rearranging the book and display cases. Some stuff will go out, some will be put away in boxes and stuck in the shed and other stuff will go back on the shelves. I'm dirty, sweaty, and worn out with lifting, shifting, pushing and pulling. Off to the shower in a moment. Dinner is made (macaroni cheese) and just needs heating in the oven when we are ready.
J must have started her new job today since I haven't set eyes on her since they left this morning. DS2 hasn't come home early either. Poor ODDU is a little perplexed. Unfortunately he is getting used to having people at home with him all day and can't understand it when no one is paying him attention. He's been very good but very quiet today and hasn't terrorised the garden as far as I can see anyway.
We have had a bit of rain which has done the garden no end of good. The corn is now a foot high and the lettuces are sitting up and thinking about things. The tomatoes are being somewhat slow to get going but should be okay if the weather keeps cooling off as it has been lately.
Today the saga of the birth certificate ended and I have sent it down to the company to be perused and otherwise checked. Can't see why the fuss over something that happened all those years ago, but there you go. I also go my laundry balls today. I saw these in NZ at a Home Show. These are supposedly hypoallergenic, eco friendly and cost effective. Inside the balls are mineral oxides and surfactants which are released into the water and they don't contain hidden bleaches or enzymes. Supposedly one can use the grey water on the garden. Apparently they also work well with septic tanks. Anyway I will let you know how they go.
Time to hit the shower. I will be back with the personals as soon as I have a wine glass in my hands.
Hello all you Worldlies not Munching Madly in March....well not madly anyway...
Nice weekend. C has a terrible cold AGAIN. Poor guy cannot catch a break. He just about gets over it and wham it comes back. He is blaming it on the CPap machine. He cleans it regularly so I don't think that is the problem. Anyone else that may use a CPAP have issues with colds etc??
Saturday morning was meeting. Then errands, then had to pick up C at the work depot as he had to leave his work box truck there since he is on vacation this week and a fill in is running his route. We came home and vegged since C didn't feel well. Sunday was church then off to do errands with DD. Cosmo Prof for product, party store to get a few items for Royce's part this coming Saturday then to JCPenney to see about sheets for the gbabes bunk bed. Funny, Chris and his brother had a bunk bed, the type with the full size below and twin size on top. When their cousin had kids, the bunk was lent to them. Now DD has then back for her kiddos. They are still in great shape and look good. Free stuff, yeah! Anyway DD dragged me all over Greenwood Park Mall and my ankle was absolutely killing me. Didn't complain cause we were having so much fun (Chris kept the kids) and didn't want to ruin a good time. C actually rubbed my ankle and knee down with Voltarin Gel last night. Bleh.
Posting and will come back for personals, I hear my boss tracking in.
LAURA...thank you for the phone number, however I think we have decided on a Toyota Hylander, just depends on if we can work it out with the dealership. I really hate this part of getting a new vehicle. Bleh. Good on you to get your plank challenge in. How was BFs family? All good I hope.
SHADDIE...yuk on the mouse and the cat playing with it too. Mice are gross. Definitely need a few cats around at our commune, regardless of how allergic I am to them. lol. Poor ODDU, just when he gets a routine down with people, it gets changed. He is probably feeling ignored. Guess you will have to pick up the slack and play with him more. I do believe you are getting attached to him no matter if you want to or not.
SUSIE...OMGoodness, 20 kids a chucky cheese. Better you than me. I don't care for the place cause I think it is a germ infested joint and not all that clean. I mean how could it be with all the kids that go through there. I am funny like that. Glasses...I am never happy with whatever way I go on glasses and end up not wearing them and go back to the cheaters. Lord knows I really need to wear them too! Good Luck with your glasses.
HAPPY....Next item on the commune list. PT facility to include a specialist for back, hip, knee and ankle. Also a good internist would be delightful to have on staff. Need quite a few cats for micing too! Sorry to hear you are feeling the pain in the knees. I am right there with you, my sister friend. Oh I will have to try the gel pens for my adult coloring book that C got me for Christmas. I am over colored pencils. Didn't do markers, like you say, they bleed too much. The Greek restaurants here all offer lemon chicken rice soup. Must be there specialty.
CEEG...hope you are feeling better, naps usually indicates your body needs some rest. Take a nap if you want to. Glad to hear the aunt and uncle are feeling pretty good and doing well with healing.
CHELLE...hope your weekend was peaceful and restful.
Morning all. Back to work Monday. Except for the admin – she took a half day off on Friday and is also taking today off.
My weekend was alright. Friday we went out to dinner at the mom and pop Italian place. We both had leftovers, and my baked mostaccioli probably has three meals left in it – really huge serving.
On Saturday I sorted through all the papers stacked high in my “in basket” of the home office. For about three hours. So they’re now sorted (I use one of those alphabetical divider thingies). The next step is to file away the stuff I want to keep and bag up the rest for shredding at a document destruction event. The schedule for upcoming events will be available sometime next month.
While I was sorting, I did toss some papers I didn’t need, though not all that much. I also put the tax docs into their own file. I also sorted through all the medical docs (and dental, vision, FSA, doctor, rx, etc.) and separated them by year. I think I’ll dump the 2013 & 2014 papers!! Ladies, how long do you keep those papers? Bf and I decided we will go paperless on the Blue Cross Explanation of Benefits docs – we can access them online whenever we want.
I didn’t get back to the paperwork on Sunday. Oh, and bf’s aunt had caught a cold and so there was no family lunch on Sunday.
Instead I went to Kohl’s and rifled through the clearance racks. All that looking and I ended up with only two things – a cardigan and a top. At least I can wear the top soon – it’s an elbow sleeve stretchy t-shirt. After the additional 40% off, my $5 coupon, and the 30% off coupon, it was about $8 for both. Back at home, I took doggy for a walk and then bf and I went out for a late lunch. On the way home we stopped at Kohl’s again, this time for bf to pick up a few things for himself. He ended up with 6 things for $30. Good deals, but those racks are a mess and you really earn whatever bargains you end up finding, lol. That’s coming from two non-shoppers – we just don’t have the stamina, hahaha.
I watched the finale of Downton Abbey last night. It was alright, not one of the best episodes, IMO. I think some of the more interesting storylines were already resolved before the final episode.
Tonight’s the final Pilates class of the winter session. I’ll be happy to get that over and done with, and I’m sure you’ll all be happy when I stop going on about it, lol.
What else? I ordered a pair of Keen shoes, very similar to the ancient pair I still wear – leather lace-ups. Certainly nothing much to look at and I sometimes call them my clown shoes but they’re very comfortable. When it gets closer to summer I will replace another pair of my ancient and ugly but very comfortable sandals - my Birkenstocks.
That’s it’s for me. I’ll get back later for personals. Make it a great day!

Morning kids,
We are in for a warm(ish) week. Hopefully the residual snow and ice will melt. And if we are lucky, we will get a thunderstorm tomorrow. I love thunderstorms - comes from being born in April showers I guess. I am also looking forward to spring and warm temperatures. Seems I was always cold all winter long. Hands and feet which chilled the entire body. I have even had to take to wearing socks to bed and I hate having my feet covered. But if I didn't I couldn't fall asleep because I was shivering. Might even get to 60 degrees tomorrow.
The saga of the front door continues. They were supposed to come and replace the door frame today. I cancelled a bunch of appointments including physical therapy. So we get a call yesterday - the new frame is also crooked so they won't be coming to install it after all. At least they did not try to install a bad frame on top of the other bungling. We get cold air coming in at night - I have to put a blanket at the door and if the wind is blowing, the door howls. They said they are going to the manufacturer. Mind you this is a $7,000 door so we aren't talking something cheap on the clearance rack here.
It leaves me time to do some housework, get on the bike again (I have been slacking because of the constant pain I'm having) and figure out something to take to the Humane Society's pot luck awards dinner tonight. That's the annual thank you to the volunteers. I will get a pin again - 3rd year running - this time for organizing the crew who painted the outside of the Thrift Shop. Figuring out what to make is a pain because the food sits for a while so you don't want to really bring something hot or something that needs to be kept chilled. And we have a ton of desserts - actually there is a ton of food in general - always way more than we need but there's also a lot of people. If you are like me and pick the wrong table to sit at (always) and are one of the last to get up and eat - there's food galore but the good stuff like deviled eggs and the yummy salads are the first to go. I think I will eat something light before hand anyway. Yesterday we went to the casino because we were given a $20 gift certificate for food. It was Italian night at the buffet but they had a nice selection of food. I had delicious prime rib of beef, steamed cauliflower and broccoli, a bit of mashed potatoes, a couple of shrimp (not breaded) and 2 plain meat ravioli because it was Italian night. They had chicken wings that looked delicious, broiled whitefish and a steamed variety of string beans as well as 2 kinds of pasta and sauces which I would have loved but stayed away from. And the salad bar. So I had a tasty meal and felt I stayed within plan so that was good. We played for a little bit afterwards and went home and admired a beautiful sunset as we were leaving.
Saturday was our anniversary. We went to our favorite Italian restaurant and we surprised when we arrived. My wonderful sister called over there and provided us with a gift certificate to more than cover a lovely dinner with drinks, appetizer, dinner and dessert - and enough for lunch another day. It was really sweet - we were very touched. Next year we will be married 40 years, and together 45. I can't believe how the time has flown. I always thought it would be nice to fit back into my wedding dress one more time on my anniversary but seeing as how it's a size 3, I don't see that happening. And I'd probably look like the corpse bride at that point too. After dinner we went to the casino - at first I lost about $100 but then I started to win small pots. Played one machine and hit a jackpot for $500. That NEVER happens to me. So I gave DH a hundred dollar bill to play at the craps table and took home a nice "wad" of mad money for myself. We were there to about 10pm, it was a nice day all around.
Annie - a Highlander is a really nice car. We looked at them too but favored the 4Runner only because neither of us liked what we considered not a full view out the back window on the Highlander. Take a test drive and see for yourself. But it's a good car - will you be getting the 3rd row seats? What color? We don't have too many problems with mice here. There was one momma in the boat shed - DH found a nest with momma and about 10 babies attached to her. He said he tossed it out of the shed and the babies scattered everywhere. I wish he had not told me that - I chastised him. Then he showed me how momma ripped apart and ruined one of our deck chair cushions in order to make a nice nest. Still.. I was upset. We have bigger problems with the destructive red haired pine squirrels. And we don't let the cats roam outside - too many predators although if I had the farm at the end of the road, I'd probably have barn cats. Don't worry - we will protect you! We had a mouse in the basement the year we had the brutal winter but we never actually saw it. The cats showed an intense interest in the furnace room so we hope the mouse got the message. Ouch on the mall walking. I am torn - the therapist said that movement was much preferred over sitting but it's hard when everything hurts so darn much. Make sure you are wearing good cushy shoes too to absorb some of the shock. I am with you on the pain thing - nothing seems to be helping - I have tried the tennis ball (to break down the tight muscles), epsom/eucalyptus salt baths, anti inflammatory foods, ibuprofen, moving, heat and even some icy roll on stuff I found in the closet. Nothing helps. Very frustrating. Sorry to hear C is sick again. I would imagine that in his line of work he has to touch so many germy surfaces that he almost needs a bubble suit. Needs to keep a bottle of antibacterial gel in the truck and use it constantly. Personally I think it's in a person - I have a weaker immune system - maybe one or two colds a year and DH gets sick about once every 5 years. I think some people are just more susceptible to it. Make a pot of chicken soup for both of you and eat up! Yes, egg lemon soup is a huge Greek favorite, I daresay most of the restaurants in Greek town in Chicago have it on the menu as a regular item. As for the commune, I will try and recruit my therapist Denice for our pains - she is really good and I love my family doctor so we are good for that. Just need good strong young men for the heavy lifting and eye candy
Shad - are you saying it's been too hot for the tomatoes or just being pokey due to lack of rain. Glad you finally got a good watering. That's good that J found a new job so quickly. Don't need everyone getting into each other's hair more than necessary. Although it sounds as if you will be off shortly yourself. Such a to-do with getting the job all settled in - is it always like this? I know we have lots of paperwork in the states - they want to make sure you are legal to work and not an underground terrorist or something although like gun criminals, the legalities never seem to stop the professionals no-do-gooders. Interesting on the laundry balls - will have to review them for us. I have what looks like tennis balls - called woolies but they are for the dryer and are supposed to replace the chemical bomb laden dryer sheets. They do tend to make a racket in the drum so I mostly use them with stuff that needs fluffing.
Our older cat Meadow seems to be vomiting alot. At first I chalked it up to not being able to chew her dry food due to lack of teeth. But now it seems like she has a more frequent upset stomach. We have been feeding her fish flavored wet food - I hope it's just a sensitivity to fish. Told DH we will give her poultry this week and see how it goes for a few days. I do hope it is nothing serious. She sleeps alot but she is 10 years old and that's to be expected. In her awake moments she has no problem begging for cat treats or a good brushing. I don't want to think about the possibility of her facing the rainbow bridge. Nina would be lost too even if she does torment her older sister.
Ceejay - the therapist also mention fibromyalgia - I will ask my doctor when I see her this month. I'm sorry to hear about the uncle falling. Hip fractures are such a concern now - there is even a group they started at the senior center to address falling and imbalance concerns. It is scary - all of us ladies in yoga asked the teacher to focus on strengthening and balance improvement exercises. I'm glad to hear your aunt is tolerating chemo well. Take all the naps you want as long as they don't interfere with your nightly sleep. I personally think that naps are one of life's best ahhh moments. Somehow the blanket is more cuddly, the pillow more soft and squishy.
Susie - I know what you mean about perching the glasses on the nose. I wear the cheaters when I grocery shop so I can read the labels and yet when I walk I am peering over them. I do suppose that makes us look funny. Glad you got progressives. And a note to you too Annie - I have a pair of prescription lens that I got for close up and computer (no distance). I make sure I wear them when I do the computer work and for book reading. The prescription ones are made for the correct curvature of your eyes - better than the cheaters. I noticed when I keep switching from several pairs of cheaters to the prescription ones that I was having greater difficulty seeing. That's because they aren't made the same and my eyes were struggling. I have had better luck with the prescription ones and just one pair of cheaters I keep in my purse for short viewings. It took a while but my eyes finally stabilized. Something to think about... That's funny about Asher and the reaction to the kids. I think boys and girls - girls probably more so - are too interested in the boy girl thing at too early of an age. But that's just me.
Hello to Laura who I'm sure has already typed her post while I dawdle away.
Also to Michelle - how's the marathon training coming along?
And a hello to the missing chicks. Please check back in.
I'm off to peer through cookbooks and go enjoy some sunshine. Have a good day everyone.

Yep Laura, I knew you'd be typing above my head.
Birkenstocks - I could never get used to those hard soles - even if they were covered in a suede type of fabric. I have a pair of Orthoheels also - similar to the hard corrective food bed. Cute shoes but not comfy at all so I only wear them when I will be sitting. Good question with the medical papers. I used to save them for years but other than for tax returns or FSA filings, I never really needed them. I'd make note in a journal of dates like surgeries or procedures for future reference and as a reminder for my fuzzy memory but actually - I can't think of an instance when I'd ever needed the medical papers. Receipts for payments maybe but not the other stuff. Same with ATM receipts. I have always gotten a paper receipt so I can check it, DH just has his emailed. It's hard breaking old habits but even more difficult dealing with the useless clutter. I do the same thing with EOB statements. Leave them online to reference if I need them. Good for you for getting through the magazine pile. I sorted mine 3 times already but never finished so I have done the same work 3 times over. Sounds like you did not enjoy the Pilates class very much. I think you probably do better with your core and plank challenges.
Ca t just JUOM JUMPED UP HERE AND IS MAKING A Pain of herself so I'm going to get off now.
Very busy weekend and very busy work week ahead. All is going well. I'm strength training with my personal trainer, but due to a blood donation this weekend and not able to run for Saturday or Sunday, I didn't get my distance run in. Next time I donate in 8 weeks, I'll have to do it on a weekday so that it doesn't interfere with my running.
Santa went to the vet on Sunday. He had been drinking a lot of water so I wanted to make sure his blood sugar was ok. I've had diabetic dogs and cats before and drinking more water is a first sign. He doesn't have diabetes, but some liver and kidney values were elevated...so they want to run further tests next weekend. And I had to take my car to the mechanic today as the driver's side door handle broke. I'm also having trouble with my power windows. I got the door handle fixed this morning while I waited...and am dropping the car off tomorrow for the electrical issue. Just when I was finally getting a handle on my finances. *sigh*
I've got to run as I'm got a milestone deadline to hit on a big project.
Laura
Sounds like you had a busy week end. I really need to go through my pile of stuff. I've been trying to go green for a long time. I don't want any of my personal mail coming to the house especially since I'm getting ready to move out of state. I'm like you I'm not sure whether to keep some things or get rid of them.

I will have to check out the laundry ball! I use the pods for the washer. Too funny about the cat chasing /playing with the mouse. I detest the little critters. I keep the traps filled at all times just in case one finds a new way in. And one did not long ago but it was caught.

It's a beautiful day down here too. I would like to be on the outside cleaning the car but guess I will do that sometime this week end.

Got a text from my cousin who lives in Odessa, Tx. She's coming to Paragould this Friday and Saturday. Told her I would meet her for lunch.
