Good Morning and Happy Friday/night. Pay Friday too! I will go in and glance at the pay then start paying bills...buh bye.

My brother stopped by last night for a bit. I gave him some tomatos and a cucumber and half of the cantelope I had just cut up. We had shrimp cocktail, mixed veggies and cantelope for dinner. Kind of a mish mash of food but very good. I ate too much shrimp, can't help it just love the stuff.

PSA - McDonald's coffee is way better than Hardee's coffee. Plus McDs adds the cream for you.

HAPPY...your trip sounds fabulous. I want that on the agenda come commune time. lol. How are you eyes coming along? Itchy dry stop? So glad DH has found a hobby that he truly enjoys. And fun that he drags you along especially when it was like this trip you just took. I am like you, not good in confined areas or heights either.

CEEG...sounds like you had a very nice birthday, regardless of the hair cut. hehe.

DEE...I knew that was one of your puppies you gave a new forever home, but it is still your puppy. Have fun with the g-babes. Hope you are feeling great for the weekend. The boys "kind of" get the idea about a special party cause Jacob says he gets to wear his new "wedding clothes".

Hello's to all I will try to check back later. Have a great day, weekend!!

Dropping in before I get our bills paid online, I haven't mailed any payments for about the last 6 yrs...

Happy your trip sounded like a fun adventure. Where were u & if u go back again what would u do differently/change?

I gotta go now, a quick stop @ Subway for my breakfast before my awesome massage. I'm happy our temps warmed up, I'll sit in our hot tub w my g-babes tonight & we'll star gaze w the constellation app on my Kindle while listening to some oldies tunes. I love that they know the words to tons of tunes because my Ds plays them for the kiddos because of the melody/instruments like I did for him as a child.

Shaddie & Susie, pLease check in with us...
Hugs to all of yall

Ceejay ~ Happy Birthday Ceejay - I hope you had or have an awesome day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good Morning Guys and Gals,
Its 9:00 a.m. right now here in Kansas. I'm currently making my lunch. I wont eat it until 11:30/Noon though. I thought it doesnt hurt to cook it early and then just heat it up when I'm ready to eat it. Today I need to work out and clean the bathroom so I'll do that here in a few mins. I've decided to stay with para transit until Jan. when I have to fill out the paper work and do a physical test in order to use para transit again next year, I havent ever had to do a physical test before so I'm kinda nervous about it cause I dont know what the physical test in tells but I'm sure I'll do fine. I hope everyone is having a great Friday Morning.
Just did 10 city blocks = 1 mile, took a lap around monument circle = .25 mile, walked down the 5 flights of stairs and will walk back up when I leave here for the day. HAPPY-OMG I am exercising. I must have fever!
Yeah Annie, Don't think I could walk that long all at one time. My hair will grow back out. Just slap me next time I do this.
I'm getting ready to go back to Paragould. Going to be helping my aunt move stuff back to my other aunts house.
I'm disappointed in myself as I have been eating to many calories. I've also had eaten some rotisserie chicken that has left me with a high sodium level I hate this stinging, burning feeling.
super quick post ladies..... I overslept this morning and missed my workout class with my trainer. I was exhausted yesterday and it was super hot, so I didn't even take Santa to the dog park. We just relaxed and I watched DVDs.
Tonight, I am going to weight loss surgery support group. Tomorrow morning, my hope and plan is to go on a run/walk with a friend...and although we're not doing a formal 5K this week, I'd like to be able to do intervals so I'm walking a mile and running at least 2 miles.
Tomorrow afternoon is lunch with a friend, and then I'll go to my step-mom's to configure her new iPad. I'm hoping to get some relaxing in for at least part of the weekend.
Morning all. TGIF! Today is my 20 year service anniversary at work. I’d already received my service award in the mail (you get to choose a gift card/cards). I think I want to use at least part of it to get a gift card to a good seafood restaurant in our area. (Happy - it's Bob Chinn's in Wheeling.)
Annie – Sounds like the burger place was alright, but not special enough to draw you back as a repeat customer. LOL re the exercise class instructor needing to eat a burger! She has that very lean look in her face and I just know she must eat an ultra lowfat diet. And she has no bosom. I think she must participate in competitive weightlifting or something. When do you expect the results of C’s sleep study? He sounds like he needs a cpap for sure! When my friend got hers, she said her energy level went through the roof compared to pre-cpap. What a nice avatar photo of you – so are you out in the Wild Wild West?? Good job on the walking!!
Dee – Like the avatar photo. I think your hair’s great – looks like it has a lot of natural body and wave. What does your hair do when it’s shorter? I swear, even when I only get an inch cut off, it seems like for the next few days my hair acts likes it’s gotten lighter by a ton and has an extra bit of curl to it. I have no idea what it would do if I cut it into a bob. And I honestly wouldn’t want to work against it and always be forced to blow dry it into the style the cut was intended for. That said, it’s not curly, just wavy, so it doesn’t take much blow drying to make it straighter and smoother, and when it’s long, the weight of it does straighten it to a certain extent. LOL re the skunk smell that wasn’t really skunk. Unfortunately in the past we’ve had very strong skunk smells on our property and it not only has the typical skunk smell, but a somewhat metallic smell and it’s just awful. I hope you have a wonderful time with your grandbabies this weekend, and spending it by the lake sounds just fantastic!!! Oh, hope you’re enjoying that massage!!!
Ceejay – I’m glad you spoiled yourself yesterday for your b-day. Big milestone for you and big changes to come in the next year, huh? Hope you have a wonderful year!! Glad things are better with the hair! Yeh, the rotisserie chicken is seasoned/injected with something that has a lot of sodium in it.
Happy – Your getaway sounds wonderful. It’s great to get away and kind of nice not to be barraged with all sorts of activities you can do, just nice to enjoy the natural beauty. Too bad you couldn’t do much hiking, but it sounds like you did plenty of exploring as it was. I wouldn’t like the ferry where you couldn’t get out of the car and walk around! At least it wasn’t a very long trip. What island did you visit? Wait, just checked FB and saw your posts. Just beautiful. Sounds like the lodging was more than satisfactory -–especially with a lovely view of the water.
Terra – Will you do paratransit next year, or will you decide when January comes? Have a good day!!
Hellos to Shad and Susie and Michelle!!
Yesterday afternoon the very tops of my quads got really sore – it was from an ab exercise I did at Wednesday’s exercise class that I knew while I was doing it that I wasn’t feeling it enough in my abs and that it was working my legs more than my abs. Grrrr. Anyway, I’ve never had soreness in this spot and it’s really odd, and not an easy area to stretch. I’m still very sore today and it’s really uncomfortable moving around after I’ve been sitting for a bit. It would just be easier if I could walk around all day and let my muscles stay warm. Maybe it’s time I finally buy some of that cream/lotion/gel that eases the soreness. Ladies, if you use any of this stuff, what brand(s) do you like, and does it stink??
I did the yoga class and it was fine. The instructor seems experienced at doing yoga, but is probably a newbie at yoga instruction, but she was still effective. It’s an odd class – sort of a bunch of poses put together, but not a lot of flow to it. Not a biggie. I rarely get home from work early enough to take 6:00 classes, so I don’t expect to go to that class again anytime soon.
My cell phone is crapping out on me. It charges, but won’t hold the charge. I was at 65% on the train while listening to a podcast, but when I got on the internet, it just went dead within 5 minutes. I’ll have to get to the ATT store over the weekend, and it’ll be a PITA. I hope this is a fixable thing. I really don’t think a phone should be kaput after 2 years, even if it is considered obsolete by now. I don’t want a new phone and have to worry about my photos and contact info getting transferred over, as well as calendar info, etc. Yup, it’ll be a PITA. Stop whining Laura.
Nothing planned tonight. Tomorrow is a hair appointment, and then a cookout at a friend’s place in the evening. Probably won’t do any exercise classes today, tomorrow or Sunday. Heck, I’ll be lucky if this soreness goes away by Monday in time for my Pilates class, hahaha.
Okay, enough rambling. Time to post.
Good morning all,
Oh geez, do we REALLY have to post our real pictures??? I kind of relish being anonymous. LOL Well maybe next month after I get my hair done and can wear eye make up again. I would be more inclined if I could look as nice as you ladies do. Except for about 3 pictures in my life, I hate most pictures. That's a cute one of you at the bubble run Michelle. And Laura and Dee have lovely, thick hair with body so you guys can keep your long hair Annie I like yours too - I agree with the western theme in the background. Where was that taken at? Terra it's nice to see you with your dogs. Are we going to get to see the new haircut Ceejay?
How was your birthday? Did you have a fun day?
Laura - Bob Chinn's ????? Oh man if I didn't just have garlic shrimp and you were so nice I'd have to be hating on you I love me some Bob Chinn's. Been at least 10 years since I have been there. I hope you REALLY enjoy it. And congratulations on 20 years with the company. You know, given the staff reductions, buyouts and all that gunk, it really is pretty amazing to get to the point where you have an anniversary like that. Good going! We stayed at Madeline Island - the largest of the Apostle Island group and I think the only one that has residences on it although there are lighthouses stationed along the islands.
Sorry - guys - crazy day. Been distracted since 10am. I have to go get dinner on. Will come back later.
Very busy day today - look for a new entry door for the house, visit a friend, errands in town and then I was asked to help out at a Humane Society fundraiser tonight. I slept in because I have a headache - still do and one of my eyes is kind of blurry and doesn't want to seem to clear up. Oh don't let it be one of those days...
Sorry for no personals. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
It's my four day work week. My sister from Missouri called yesterday to see what time I was coming. Told her it didn't matter if I went to Branson or just stay at her house in Ash Grove, Missouri. I like both area's. There may be some drama this week end. Am not looking forward to that. It has to do with her daughter not me. I'm having second doubts on moving to Missouri because of this. Guess I will not know for sure until the time comes. Had a long chit chat with my friend in Jonesboro last night concerning all this. My aunt and uncle are grieving already about my leaving. And another uncle is tool Maybe I should stay. I will miss them too. Things to ponder for sure.
Had another simple pleasure yesterday morning at my uncle's. I love to look out toward their back property where the wooded area begins hoping to see some wild life. I got that privilege, a young doe and then two babies came out of the woods. I've never seen deer that small. Looked like small dogs.
We got the things back to my cousins house yesterday. There is already a feud going on between the siblings about their moms things. My aunt didn't want to have them arguing at her house. Can't blame her.
----
Happy
Not sure if I want to post anything like this on line. I took a selfie while ago and goodness what a mess. I didn't realize how much my eyelids need to be done. The eye doctor has been wanting to do them for a couple of years. They may get done this year.
Shad
It will not be much longer until this job will end. Then take some much needed time off.
Michelle
No wonder you are tired. You need to slow down. I really am going to try to walk more. But I also need to used some weights. I'm getting flabby.
Hello's to the rest.
