Sugar P!!!! How did you become 40?????? Does this mean I've gotten older, too?????

Happy Birthday, have a wonderful day. Eat too much, try to drink more than is prudent and have fun. Middle age is really great. You get this warm feeling..... ALL THE TIME.

Thanks, darlings! You're the best. I can't believe I'm that old either. It'll take some getting used to.

Dh and I went to a Greek restaurant for dinner on Saturday night and on Sunday we had coffee and cake with the in-laws. Yawn. It was a beautiful sunny day, though and the neighbours gave me a little bouquet of roses.

Ds7 gave me an adorable little ceramic lady bug and when he handed me the package he said, "Here's your present, I didn't have any tape, so I used a band-aid instead!" He is so cute. Hope he stays that way.

I think I gained at least 5 lbs. You may gloat now.

That is adorable!

It's hot here in the Southland! Tonight we are giving Audrey her first bath! I get to man the video camera.

Happy belated birthday, dear Sugar P, Happy belated birthday to youuuuuuuuu!!!!! Wow! 40! You'll love it! No need to make so much of an effort to look good. Just kiddin'! You're still just a baby to me.

Tell sis congrats on the darling baby, Kiwi. What a busy woman she will be!

Hi to everyone else - I have to work because I've been away since last thursday. We thought we'd have a long weekend, and it wasn't long enough.

I'll be back tomorrow to give you all the boring details.

Hey! when I said I'd be back with the boring details I didn't mean to scare everyone off. This is what we did w/ our 5 day weekend - went fishing one day w/ some friends at a beautiful lake in central Oregon. Worked in the yard. Went to some other friend's house for a bbq. Went shopping for a new bbq for us, but the one we want is all sold out until June 1st. Cleaned and restained deck. (actually DH did, but I watched ) Went out to dinner w/ my lil sis and her husband (they are still separated, but see each other socially, go figure). And that's about it. You'd think we'd do more in 5 days, but we took alot of naps.

Happy Anniversary, dear Bagzie and DHBagzie. Still honeymoonin'???

Tonight's WW weigh in night. I wonder how much damage the long weekend did.

I lost a whoppin' 1.2 pounds. No wonder I gain weight. I cannot eat much of anything if I want to be a normal weight. Why didn't I get any taller than 5'2"???? I weigh less than my son and he's skinny. He's also 6' tall.

Default Ah be home

Hey y'all, ah'm home from mah suthern trip, 'n' now ah cain't talk Yankee no more!

Not.

It was so much fun hanging with my sissie and the baby. The nephews were fun and challenging! Really. Almost 5 and almost 3 -- very entertaining and sweet, but such a lot of work! Baby Audrey, on the other hand, was nothing but love! And poop. Sis was very appreciative of my visit, although I can't say I got worked to death or anything; it was very pleasant. Got some beautiful video footage (I'll let them take the still photos and send me copies)

My sis is 34, Bagz, just a young'un. And she is done with the baby thing (although Audrey is so good, she might be tempted). Handling 3 kids is going to be a challenge. Right now, the boys are still going to daycare because they were paid up for 2 more weeks. Then her in-laws are coming to visit, and after that, she will be flying solo (well, not completely of course, but her dh has a very long commute every day so weekdays will be all her). She already feels much better than she did a week ago, so I'm sure she will manage. She also has the boys enrolled in swim classes, day camps, play groups--you wouldn't believe all the stuff she has available to take advantage of. Great place to bring up kids if you can "keep up with the Joneses" -- not my kind of place, but she is willing to do the social round and have all the right stuff, so more power to her. Her neighbors are providing the family with meals every other day for a few weeks, if you can believe it. I couldn't even get my mother to cook much when I was post-partum.

Well, I think you did pretty well losing anything at all, Wabbit, when you'd had a long weekend. Anything at all out of the routine makes me gain weight (I'm not stepping on the scale for another week at least: Hold me to that, okay?)

I have to get a bunch of stuff in the car for the in-laws' yard sale tomorrow. Goodie, right smack in the middle of mosquito and black fly season. Maybe I'll sit there wrapped in netting, whatta y'think?

Hi Kiwi! Welcome home! It sounds like you had lots of fun w/ your sis and the babies. I bet your own life seems downright, well, I can't think of the word, but I guess it would be unfettered. Those little ones take a lot of time and energy.

I'm fighting city hall here. They want to take away one of our driveways into our business. They hire a professional arguer called a "public involvement specialist" to fight with the business owners. Those city hall folks are such cowards.

Hope everyone is relaxing w/ a few margies. You know they have about 7 WW points in each one of them. Man, I'm so obnoxious when I'm in my Good Weight Watcher mode. Have a lovely weekend! Hope the skeeters leave you alone, Kiwi!
