Well I think I am experiencing my mid-cycle gain. It is just really late this month. I hope it goes back down before TOM starts. I feel that I have hovered around 190 for way too long.

Susie- Hope you get good results again this week at weigh-in.

Kelly- That was a mighty good workout. We haven't done that in a while now.

Hello, I couldn't let one more day go by without getting here. Your posts are what keeps me on track.

I have been having a very stressful time at work with trying to make a decision about something--My head was telling me one thing, my gut another. I finally went with my gut and it feels so much better now!

I haven't gotten in as many workouts as I wanted to this week. I hope the stress doesn't show up on the scales tomorrow. I wasn't overeating but I've learned that stress can make you gain weight even if you don't overeat. The stress I was under was so great, I couldn't even eat.

But now I can get back to really concentrating on me.

Mindy: I can almost say without a doubt that your hormones are effecting your weight. You know how your body cycles and how the scales follow it. Don't stress about it because you can't change it. Instead when you know that those numbers on the scales are because of hormones concentrate on how far you can run now and how many times you workout. Let those be your "scales" during those times.

Kelly: You are excatly right. That is what an addict feels right. So, we have to approach our food addictions or using food as our drug the same way they do..one day at a time, coming here daily for support. Have a friend to call when you know you are about to overeat and you can't talk yourself out of it. So...tell yourself..no matter what minute, what day..it's tomorrow and it's time to start.

Ward: How are you doing? How are the workouts going now that the kids are out of school?

I'll see you all tomorrow.

Susie- In my head I know you are right. In my heart and in my spirit I can't help but feel the disappointment at times. I know I am so much stronger, a lot thinner and much healthier. I just want to get smaller and it is hard when I don't see the progress I hope for. good luck on your weigh-in tonight. Mine is tomorrow and I don't think it will be pretty.

Yesterday Kelly and I did bootcamp and today my arse hurts. My thighs hurt, inner, outer, you name it. Then today was run day. Kelly was all pumped and inspired are rearin to go. I was dragging my tail along, complaining all the way. Funny how we had a role reversal there. We did a 5k (3.1 miles) in 45 min. As If my A** didn't hurt enough already.

Kelly- You did great tonight. Thanks for pushing (or pulling) me along. 1/2 miles at a time. That is so awesome.

Well, I bet I am just hilarious to watch tonight, because I hurt all over. I can't sit down on the toilet properly, and can't go down the stairs without saying, "Ow, Ow, Ow," with each step. At recess today, I blew my whistle to go inside, and could hardly raise my arm above my head so my class knew we were going inside. Everything hurts from Bob's Bootcamp last night, and now I can't walk either from our 5K. But, it is worth it. I am feeling great and back on the wagon 2 days in a row. I don't feel as out of control as I was feeling, so I feel nice and strong.

Mindy--Sometimes it is good for us to have a little role reversal. Then we both understand how the other is feeling when our roles get switched back.

Susie--I hope the weigh in goes well. You had a big loss last week. I am keeping my fingers crossed for another one this week, or even a small one will be fine!

Ward--Those kids must be making you insane being at home. I know you are keeping them busy. That is why you haven't been posting, right? Not because you are off somewhere.....?

See ya later girls!

Hi,

I am happy to report a 1 lb loss. I didn't think it would be huge. I did very well with food and workouts this week but I KNEW I didn't eat enough calories in the past 3 days. I was dealing with all that stress around a work situation and I wasn't eating lunch. I just didn't feel I had the time.

Next week at my YMCA contest they will take measurements. I hope to see a big difference from 3 weeks ago.

Mindy & Kelly: I'm laughin my a** picturing the two of you trying to move normally after those workouts. I know how you feel. Sometimes when I do Body Pump on Monday and then 20/20/20 again on Tuesday..both classes we do a LOT of squats come Wednesday I can hardly move and to have to deal with the bathroom facilities seems to much...I've been afraid that once I got down I wouldn't get up!

I hope the weighin goes well for the both of you tomorrow.

Ward: I think I'm going to have to hunt you down!?

Hey guys. I am just checking in here. I am way off plan. Worse than I have been in more than a year. I don't know what's wrong, other than I am stressed over my ILs coming. They'll be here today and they will stay a week. I am just making it worse with all this eating, but I am so out of control. I'm still working out every day, but this is exactly how I gained back the 30 pounds the last time.

You guys are doing great! Keep up the good work.

I can't wait to see how your measurements have changed, Susie.

I am laughing about the free fall to the toilet. Been there!

Ward- You have survived the in-laws visits before. You know you can do it. Get it together girl. Don't let them shake you. The free fall is quite a adequate description.

Susie- Hey, a pound is a pound. Get this. This week, clearly not the middle of my cycle, I have gained 4.4 pounds. How ya like them apples. At this point I will show an overall gain for the month of May. So, losing a pound would great in my eyes. Just thought I'd put it into perspective for you. Celebrate that pound. You have lost in the last 2 weeks what I have gained this week.

Kelly- Glad you are feeling better today. I am too. We banged ourseles up this week, huh?? Hope you sell some quality "junk" at your sale. Get in a workout this weekend, will ya.

After being so sore, I didn't feel like doing a strenuous workout last night. My DD and I went on a hike. It was pretty and fun. We even did a little rock climbing. All told I think we hiked about 3 miles. The scale went up some more today. I am about to go off and have a real hissy fit. I am so tired of this crap.

Hi Ladies,

This weekend has a lot of opportunities to overeat and I'm determined I will not. I have a lot of graduation parties to attend this weekend. I have told myself that these are opportunites to see friends and congratulate the graduates not to eat everything that is there. I had one today and I did very well. They had a relish tray, so I did that, they had a fruit try, so I did that. I did have some cheese ball and that was what I counted for my dinner.

Ward: Mindy already said it..you have survived the in-laws before. I know it will be busy while they are there but try to get a walk or run in every day and a post to us. We are here to help keep you on track. Maybe the week that they are here make a goal to maintain and not gain. You can get back to loosing weight when they leave.

Mindy: I have no idea what the scales are doing--it seems strange that you have these big swings. Can I ask why you weigh yourself every day or several times a week? Would maybe having one day at the same time in the same clothes as your official weight help?

Kelly: How was your sale? I'm thinking about having a yard sale in a couple of weeks. They are a lot of work. What sort of workouts are you doing this weekend.

Susie- Good job with smart eating choices. Events like that are always hard. I don't think I have one graduation this year. Not complaining. Keep it up. you are doing great.

Kelly- How was the weekend?? Did you get to workout??

Ward- Get back on the wagon girl I know you can do it.

Just returned from a 1.8 mile run. I walked the 1st .1 but ran the rest. Pretty good. Not like the night with Kelly when I was dragging me behind. The scale went dowm some today, 191.6. That puts me +.6 for the month of May. That really sucks. Hopefully I can have a big loss in June. The only other time I gained was in Dec. 45 pounds to go and it can't get any more difficult.

Hi...I'm dealing with a killer headache today. It's the sort that is making me sick to my stomach. I wanted to get a walk in today but I decided to just skip it.

I hope it's gone tomororrow. Is anyone thinking about setting June goals?

Mindy: You are so strong and determined...I know you will get that 45 lbs moving!

Hi--still dealing with the headache. I'm going to the chiropractor after work.
I didn't work out today because my head is pounding so hard.

I want to set some June goals and plan to..as soon as I can think straight.

I'll see you all tomorrow.

2.5 more days left of school. Can I make it?? Yes, but without hurting somebody.

It looks like I'm going to lose Kelly from my building. Due to cuts and shifts, it looks like she is being forced to move to a different building. We had been holding out hope that this wouldn't happen. However, time is running out. What will I do without my BFF at school everyday??? It boggles my mind and breaks my heart. Love ya Kelly!!!

My crazy scale is now dropping the last 2 days. I don't even believe todays weight. I'll let you know if it holds tomorrow.

Susie- Hope you get over that headache. YUCK!!!

Kelly- Glad we worked out tonight. My heart goes out to you.

Hi,

I'm happy to report that I have NO headache today--thank goodness for the Chiropractor!

I have my gym bag packed and I will soon be headed to 20/20/20 Class and then Zumba. Oh YEAH! My body is so happy it's going to move. It's also happy because I gave it a GREAT salad today for lunch. It was craving some veggies and boy did I load that salad up with them.

Getting ready to have some celery and a protein bar to hold me over until dinner tonight which will be at 7:30 p.m.

Mindy: I'm so happy for you with the scales! That is a bummer about losing Kelly from your building.

Kelly: I hope this change doesn't throw you into a tailspin on the weightloss front. If you feel it might just make maintence your goal until you can get your battle plan lined up.

Ward: Are you surviving the in-laws. We are right here for you.

Ok..got to run. Talk to you tomorrow.

I knew yesterdays number was too low to be true. I was 191 today. Have I mentioned how much I hate that number. I have seen it WAY TOO many times. I just want to make some real progress. Even if it's just a little. Kelly and I did Cardio Max tonight. Haven't done it in a while. It was tough.

Susie- Glad to hear your feeling better. Have a great workout. Weigh-in is coming up really fast. Doesn't seem like it's been that long.

Kelly- i think I'll feel that one tomorrow. Hope you got a lot done tonight.

Hey girls. How is everyone? I made it through our 5th grade recognition program tonight. I hat getting up to speak in front of people, but I had to. I survived. Still need to workout tonight yet. I'll get to that after posting.

191.4 today. Waiting to see if TOM will be on time, or if it is really messed up. Based on when I had my gain, who knows.

See ya tomorrow.
