Hey guys. What a beautiful Easter morning. And I was 189.4 this morning. Can it get any better?? I have graded papers, planned what I will cook for family dinner today, getting my posting done and need to get dressed to go do my 3FC 5K. Busy, busy.
Geez Louise, Mindy! You think your dog is holding you back, what the heck am I going to do next to you????? I guess I am going to have to step it up. Maybe a lot of our workouts this week can be running. It should be nice enough for us to go outside. Bring your little jacket thing. I'll bring mine. Congrats on the 180's!!!! That cream is the best thing you have ever purchased. I am a true believer, and now you need to convince Micque to look for some, too!
Susie--Congrats on the loss this week! I agree with Mindy--Any loss is a good loss and in the right direction! I hope that Hubby listened and didn't get you any candy today.
My hubby got me a CD and Bob Harper's new book. What a good boy. I went for a walk with my sister-in-law today. We got talking and she revealed she weighs about 170 right now. I have always thought she looked good and pretty skinny, so now I feel happy that I only weigh about 5 pounds more than her! I have such a hard time with my body image because I always see myself as being big, but I am trying really hard to see what I really look like. I hope it is not a skewed view. Hope everyone had a great Easter! See you tomorrow!
Hi all! I went jogging with Mindy after school today. I thought I was going to die after about 20 minutes, but Mindy kicked me in the butt and I powered through for 10 more minutes. It feels great! I haven't worked out a whole lot in the past two weeks, and I am glad to be back on track.
Susie--That candy just doesn't stay away, does it? Glad you are flushing it out of your system. Love the Victoria's Secret stuff. My fave is Love Spell.
Mindy--Keeping my fingers crossed that you go down again tomorrow!
Kelly- WOW!! That was quick posting. You even got here before me tonight. I am glad you kept going tonight. It just proves, you can do it. I think we might need to do some strength stuff tomorrow. Whatcha think?
Susie- I bought 3 chocolate bunnies for Easter. And they were small. 1 for me and 1 for each of my kids. That was it. Just a little bite of chocolate a day and I am happy. I'll make it last all week. Step away from the candy and get on the exercise bike.
Ward- Hoping to hear from you soon and see how vacation went.
My noon time workout yesterday really got my head back in the right place. I am happy to say that I am caught up on my feeling journal and my food log journal.
Tonight I'll do my 20/20/20 class. That's 20 min of areobic, 20 min of weights and 20 min of abs and then I'll walk for another 30 min.
Mindy: I truly have a sugar addiction so there is no way I would make chocolate last that long. I do pretty well staying away from chocolate because it really bothers my IC but I have found other sugary things I like just as well...so for me, it's best to not start the sugar.
Kelly: Good for you for doing that extra 10 min. Do you think Mindy might have a calling to be the next Jillian?!
I felt it was time to start with the cream. I was right. I went up 1.5 pounds today. How does that happen, really? Well, I am using the cream again so hopefully it will help. Guess time will tell.
Susie- Glad to hear you are going strong again. Sounds like you have a good workout planned. Have fun. Kelly and I did BL Bootcamp tonight. That always ges the muscles pumping.
Susie--I definitely think there is a little bit of a trainer in Mindy. Although, she gives me a lot of support and gentle encouragement, more like Bob than Jillian. Watch, now she will start yelling at me to keep pushing, because she likes Jillian more than Bob I, like you, just have to stay away from the chocolate and sweets. I can't just have a bite like Mindy, I have to eat the whole candy bar. I like the sound of the 20/20/20 class. Those seem like good amounts of time to do each thing. I just wish I had the time to do 60 minutes, then walk for 30 more. Good for you!!
Mindy--Good workout tonight. I wonder if I'll be able to walk tomorrow. I will do my best to come home and do some jogging after our training tomorrow night.
Ward--I know you are lurking around somewhere. I noticed an avatar change on the first page! Hope things are going well for you.
Jillian?? Ha. That is funny. I am good at pushing myself, not so good at pushing others. I can try, but nope.
I went back down a little today. Day 2 with the cream. I think that has to be it. Let's see what the rest of the week holds. My computer has caught a virus at home so I am posting from school. Need to get mine fixed. I'll see ya tomorrow.
I am glad to see you guys are all doing so well. I have been on quite the bender for the past few weeks. I hurt my back on Sunday and that threw me for a(nother) loop. I actually stayed on plan today so I hope I can keep it up. I know I will sleep well tonight and feel good in the morning.
I finally made it! It's been a long day. I can usually check the board when I'm at work but I was getting things ready for a big meeting tomorrow. I have a little more to do in the morning with that meeting; it starts at noon and it is over on Friday at 1:00. After 12:30 tomorrow my part for the meeting is over! Thank goodness!
I had a great Zumba workout today. I'm finding that I'm working out harder in it and still having fun. I went to yoga tonight. I have a LONG way to go with that class, but I feel so good when I get it finished. I feel I have a better range of motion and I am relaxed.
Mindy: That cream is just amazing and I'd say your body needs it. I haven't looked into getting it yet. In the next 2 weeks I'm going to see my friend who sells the line that you bought and talk to her about it. Bootcamp sounds like a great workout!
Kelly: I think it's great that you and Mindy have each other to workout with.
Ward: Wecome back! Ok..so you WERE on a bender...you now have one day down that you were on plan...build on it...you can do this!
I seem to be popping from 190-191, back and forth. I hope to lose some more here soon. I've been working hard, so I deserve a loss, right?
Ward- Glad to hear from you. We can always tell when you are having a tough time. We just don't hear from you for a while. You should now by now that you can come share, the good, the BAD and the Ugly. Never fear us.
Kelly- DId you get a workout in last night? Hopefully we will get to workout together tonight.
Susie- Yeah for Zumba. You keep it up girl and you will se another loss tonight.
Yep, I'm here, and I'm not happy with myself. Two days in a row of no exercise. Two days in a row of eating crappy. I have birthday parties and sporting events up the wazoo this weekend, so I am feeling doomed. I came back from spring break up three and a half pounds, and went all the way back down to my lowest weight of 175 yesterday. Today I was up to 176. Hopefully the junk I ate will work its way out.
Mindy--We will definitely get a workout in tomorrow.
Susie--Is Zumba kind of a dancing class? I am terrible at dancing.
Ward--Don't worry. Life has thrown you lemons, make lemonade! (But don't drink it--give it to others!! ) You are really good at getting back on track. You will do it again!
Weigh-in was horrible. I don't know if I want to cry or throw a fit! Maybe both.
I had a three lb GAIN! Who knew that those dang peeps and malted milk eggs could do that in just one day!
I am happy with myself for getting it turned around so quickly and working out like I have and watching my food. I will continue that and hopefully next week I'll have a BIG loss. I"m working hard for it.
Mindy: YES you deserve a loss. Just keep doing it the way you have been and it will continue to come off.
Kelly: Lot's of water...lot's of veggies, salads and move when you can.
Yes, Zumba is a bit like dancing but it's really more like cardio to Latian music and it's not really hard to catch on to the steps. It's just fun!
Ward: Where are you? We need you here and you need to be here with us...let us support you!
