HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE.
Congratulations Suzy on the weight loss. You go girl.
Dee - I clicked on the link but won't be able to view your painting until you accept me as a friend. I sent you a request.
Gayle - I pay about $150. for a colour a few highlights and a cut.
Shelley - I wish I could get to weight what you do. You are not fat. You look fabulous.
My first Mother's Day was pretty good! I went to church with Jake. The program was presented by my aunt. She had called all of the children in the church and asked them to write letters to thier mothers. Then she had someone read the letters aloud to see if the mothers could guess which letters were written by their children. Imagine my surprise when there was a letter from JAKE read! Momma wrote one for me from him. I couldn't help but cry when it was read!
Suzy, I know what you mean about the scales standing still. I'm "stuck" at 248. It's my own fault, though, because I've only been half-@$$ sticking to my "diet." It'll get better soon, though!
I mailed pictures to everyone but Janice and Suzy. Janice, yours will go out today. Everyone else, be watching your boxes.
Cheryl awww that is so sweet. I am glad that you had a nice Mother's Day. You are a good mama.
Janice I will check facebook today and accept. I didn't realize that the link wouldn't work unless you were my facebook friend.
Now I have to think of a way to paste a link here for everyone to view. Anybody got an idea as to how I can do that?
We had a wonderful Mother's day. Larry made me fresh strawberry crepes and a latte for breakfast. The kids came down and then I openned gifts. We all headed over to the park for a picnic and a few games of bochi (sp?) ball. It was a really nice warm day. Later for supper we met my family at a restaurant and then headed back to mom and dad's where she openned gifts. She really liked my picture and wanted it hung right away. We also gave her a big bouquet of flowers. It was wonderful.
Ohhh, I am so excited..............in five more minutes I will have a T@B sitting in my driveway. I haven't even seen inside of it yet!
Larry said that as he is driving it home he sure is getting a lot of looks. I said yeah they are probably saying look at that poor guy going camping in the rain!
Good morning all,
Weigh in today down 1.5 pounds I would have liked to see at least 2 pounds but at least its going in the right direction.
Dee - I loved your paintings, you are one talented lady.
Thanks Janice, it was fun painting. I should do it more often.
Way to go on the weight loss. Hey you are doing awesome don't be disappointed. It will come off.
Cheryl I am sure when Jake gets bigger he would love to camp. My kids love it. We spent more days camping in the summer than we did at home.
Yesterday I wiped down the trailer, not that it needed it, it was spotless. I organized and put everything away that we bought and I still have some empty spaces. At first look I thought gee I don't know if everything is going to fit. I might have to return some of the stuff. As we brought bags and boxes of camping gear in and found a spot for it I couldn't believe all the extra space. I am impressed with it and the queen bed felt comfy and firm. We are going to head out on saturday to try it out.
It looks like the rain is stopping. Those little robins are sure happy to have a few worms to eat.
It is time for me to head out and burn off my worms.
I had a little angel arrive in my mailbox today! THANK YOU CHERYL! Allison says baby Stew is a keeper and he is oh, so cute! The pics are great, looks like a future little farmer.
As I am typing this my dad is having surgery. He is getting his knee replaced. Please pray for a safe and successful operation.
Cheryl I can't wait to see the picture. I am sure he is a cutie!
My back is doing marvelous. I can hardly believe what it feels like to be pain free. After next weeks procedure they will probably get me to come off my meds and see how I do. My leg was a bit trouble some but it seems to have settled down the last few days.
I talked to Aunty Sally last night. She isn't doing well. She now has a hospital bed at home so she can be propted up. She has a hard time breathing when she lies down. She is in so much pain. I actually think that she has bone cancer too. They will be testing for that on the 26th. My cousin in law her dil thinks that she doesn't have much time left. My mom is really upset. She wants to go see her but with dad being operated she will have to wait a bit. Life is pretty tough sometimes.
No laughing in that picture, Gayle--he was in full-blown "Little Stew" mode. Gotta love him anyway!
Dee, I hope your Dad comes though his knee replacement surgery OK. My FIL just had his done in February and he's finally back at work. The key is good follow-up physical therapy. Does he have a recumbant bike? That's what my FIL's Dr. recommended he do.
