Oh, please let me know how that goes. I haven't done colon cleanse but I have done a liver cleanse. Something about getting the toxins out of your system has such a free feel to it. I just haven't had any 'me' time since the first of November. I have been working 12 to 14 hour days with this new job. I am really working for my money now.....believe you me. Have a good trip and don't forget me.

Thumbs up

Welcome Back Ms. Kiwi!!!!! Suz and I have been fanning the and trying to burn calories!!!! I joined the YMCA about 2 weeks ago and I met with a 'Health Coach' on Saturday after I did my very first Water Aerobics class. I rode a bike for 30 mins and then did the natalaus machines for a full circuit. I made the committment to do the routine on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I am going to either use the treadmill or do water aerobics on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I will take Sunday off in honor of my FATHER; my day of rest.

Oh my gosh!! You are already pumped!!
Well, lets make a game plan for the group and the new year. I Seriously, need to exercise. Although I've lost some weight I'm gaining my appetite back so I really need to get focused.

You know the old saying....21 days makes a habit. Lets begin this year working toward making good habits for 2008.

Instead of us focusing on losing weight and starving ourselves lets focus on trying to create good habits and then the weight should come off. Not as quickly as we would all love but consistently and then since its a habit the odds of gaining it back would be slim.

I think for the month of Jan we should focus on exercise. 21 days in a row of exercise to be exact.
If we skip a day we start over the 21 days. Make sense? Then we move to the next month with a new habit. We don't have to get rid of the old.

Keep in mind as far as exercise I realize sometimes people say exercise is not good everyday but for the 21 days we should do it and then after that we can do it 3 days a week or whatever or continue to do a little something everyday. Sound good?

Okay everyone start tweaking and see what you can add to it .

Lets have a awesome year!!

That sounds very doable! I am up for the challenge! I can do the 21 days straight of exercising!
Maybe the next challenge is no sugar or no diet soda..... just a thought.

That sounds great! We can form some major good habits for the new year!

Why don't we start a new post since this one is pretty long and invite some new members to join us over here for the 21 day challenge. We can officially start alittle later so we can make the group bigger and more fun for the challenge. What's a good day? You pick.

If you like I can make a new post with the same name etc and then we can invite the newbies and see if they would like to play along.

Let's let Suz decide. She has been posting at least once a week and yes, you can start the new thread......that will work great! We can let Wam Tam know too through MYSPACE.

I've tried WamTam but she hasn't been on myspace either. Danni said she would join in. What ever day Suz decides is fine with me.

Okay lets think about the rules of the challenge:

1. Jan challenge is EXERCISE
Each person must exercise no less than 15 min. a day for 21 days in a row.

2. If the person misses a day they must start all over again.

3. The last day to complete the challenge for Jan will be Feb 8. This gives them time to also complete Feb challenge by the end of Feb.

4. All those who complete the Jan Challenge by Jan 31 have bragging rights!

5. All those who complete the Jan Challenge by Jan 31 will go to there favorite restaurant on the 1st Saturday in Feb and give a toast to the winners of the challenge. Bring your Digital cameras because we want to see a picture of the happy event!!!

Okay how does that sound? Any questions or adjustments? Go to tweeking!

Where is Suz? Choose a day girl. Lets get this party started!

I start Chemo in the morning it will be my first treatment I am excited to have a challenge of exercising because they tell me I will get tired. Don't anyone allow me to use it as an excuse!! I've always been sorry at exercising it won't have anything to do with Chemo!

As soon as Suz decides on a day I will make the new post.

Chat later
