Hi. I am new here. Could someone explain the basis of Sugar Busters to me. That happens to be my only vice but i am so attached to it I eat it about three times a day ( chocolate usually ) I am also a vegetarian. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thank you.

I would say briefly that SB is a WOE you can live with indefinitely, NOT a diet you need to go off of at any time. I can tell you from personal experience that once you get the sugar out of your system, you no longer crave chocolates-I know this first hand because chocolate [i]was[/u] a trigger food for me, and a usual day for me was 2 candy bars. When my OH came home from Lebanon he brought me my favorite candy from Europe, 39 packages (2 bars in a pack), I ate 35 of them! Now, chocolate doesn't phase me in the least! Being close to goal, I can have chocolate if I want, SB LEGAL, of course, but don't even desire it and may have a 1/4-1/3 of an OUNCE once a week.

BTW, where in Florida are you? We have a slew of Floridians on our board!!!

Another Floridian I see!! There are 2 gals on the board who don't live far from you, Sarasota and Port Charlette. Maybe you know of any health food stores in your area that carry AGAVE NECTAR? LAMAP, in Pt. CH. can't find it there, thought maybe Tampa has it somewhere.

Thanks Debbie for the welcome. I don't have any health food stores close to me I don't think except GNC and they don't have any products other than the pills, vitamins. etc. I did good tonight had a nice lean ground beef pattie, green beans, baked sweet potatoe and tossed salad, now who can go hungry on meals like that. Do you have any suggestions for lunch. I work part-time in the afternoon after my retirement and I need some suggestions. Thanks
