I didn't walk or do anything yesterday.
I did weights this morning. There's a great web site mentioned on the first page of the weight lifting thread in the exercise forum that gave me some great information.
Really didn't feel like walking, got up late and just wasn't in the mood. BUT...I ended up going my usual 4.5 miles, and once I got going, I was glad I did!
Tues-40 Buns of steel step
Wens-50 min. walk started out only having time to do 40 minutes but it was soooooo nice out i just kept going! I can't wait for summer i think i will walk all day!
Thurs-1 hr The Firm weights -this is my plan!
Fri-40 min step tape
Saturday-1hr The frim or walk- that will give me 5 days! woo hoo (i guess 6 would be better :spinning: )
I am fixing to put on my tennis shoes and go walk for 45 minutes at the mall during my lunchhour!
The humidity must be about 200% today so I'm sure my naturally curly hair will look like a great big old SOS pad when I get back - oh the sacrifices we make! hehe
Wednesday . . . DH, Miss M and I walked 1 mile tonight at the park. My plan is to do two more times this week. Starting out slow and building up. Weather was great tonight. Saw a bunch of runners. Really want to get to that ability!!!!!
walked 5 miles this evening, took me 1 hr & 20 min...was I exhausted! I din't realize the distance till I checked it tonight & really think I over did it. Was trying out a new route.
This morning 20 min. on the treadmill. I hit 1 mile around 18 minutes. I had been walking 2 miles in about 30 minutes so I've still got some work to do to get back up to where I was before getting sick.
I found that if I move the speed around every minute or so I can get my speed up a little quicker. I go from 3.2 to 4 to 3.4 to 3.8 to 3.6 and then trying to go back down to 3.2 feels too slow!
