Way to go, Glamazon! Now you're cooking! Great idea. The recipes on this forum are so much better than the ones I found in the original book. I haven't tried any of the SB cookbooks.
I'm officially starting Phase 1 tomorrow. Did all my grocery shopping today and had a SB dinner (pork chops & mashed cauliflower, yum yum yum!). I'm actually really looking forward to the next 2 weeks and looking forward to the results of course

With that attitude, you'll have great successes!!!
Good Morning, everyone! Day 1 for me!!! Breakfast was a little rough. I sauteed some broccoli-slaw in water until it was tender, then drained off the water. I beat 1 egg plus 1 egg white and added it to the slaw in the pan. Right before it was done, I added grated 2% cheddar-jack. Sounds good, right? I guess it would be if had developed a taste for veggies... but until this morning my diet consisted mostly of sugar filled binges. I ate about half of it, I think I'll have some v8 in a minute. Lunch will be a salad with chicken breast, and dinner is balsamic chicken from one of the SB cookbooks.
Good morning, Texasmama, and congrats on having veggies for breakfast. I think another veggie choice with the eggs might have been better. Broccoli is a pretty strong taste. I do peppers and onions with mine. Shredded zucchini is good too.
This is my 3rd attempt on the beach. For me, my failing was always the add back bread time of Phase II. I've been exercising pretty consistently for the past (almost) 2 months, and I am ready to take my eating to the next level.
I always feel better on the beach, and now that I am situated into a stable routine, I feel I can make it work this time.
Hi, newbie here. I started phase 1 on 8/17. 6 lbs down in 10 days. I was nervous because I had an overnight trip out of town and it was difficult to figure out what to have at restaurants. I'm learning to ask for salad without carrots and croutons. My co-workers were eating fries and I didn't even have any craving for it. I did have a dream last night about eating bread!
Hi - I'm brand new to SB. I've previously done Atkins with some success, until the boredom set in. I'm feeling more positive about SB, thanks to the ability to enjoy some veggies. Already falling in love with the cauliflower mash!
Today is day 4 for me and all is groovy. Day one was weird, day two I was headache-y, ravenous and I grazed through every protein product in the house. Day three was focused on plan (albeit) with no regard for portion size. Now, today, the headache is gone, the appetite is minimal and I'm feeling in control.
Hey im pretty new here too!! But SBD is an old friend of mine! I manage to keep the same weight for 2 years after losing around 85pounds, but now i think is time to workout more and lose the last 30pounds remaining So itrs already my 3rd day of phase 1!!
Well I think I am doing quite well! And welcome to anyone else that is new! I just dont understand about not being hungry. I used to get really hungry and I know I would overeat! Now I have to make myself even if im not the least bit hungry. Has anyone else gone through this? I also am doing my snacks as well even though not in a snacky mood lol. Does that make sense? Or am I the only one?
