Good morning, ladies! I am at work for a few hours today, but then the rest of the week is vacation. Went a little overboard over the weekend, but was out of town at a lake cottage - it was so relaxing!!
LM - I can relate. Even with the points I banked I went overboard...especially at the wedding last night. Just lovely but I could not stop eating the appetizers hence a 40 point day and a weekend in general over the top. Ah well... I weigh-in today and have nooo idea what that scale is going to say. Myoplex is a protein shake. Its viler than most, but I'm trying the modified "body for life" schtick. I am working out w/Bill's Plan, using the trainer at the gym to work with me on the weights and then trying to incorporate more protein and less carbs in my diet.
I have four flavors to try:
so far: mocha - bleah
chocolate peanut butter: couldn't get the dog to try it
rich dark chocolate : not bad, not good
tomorrow, who knows. I couldn't imagine eating 3 of these a day and then regular food.
If you don't like them, why don't you try another protein shake. There are oodles and oodles of them out there. One of my favorites is ISIS which is a combination of soy and whey protein and other vitaminis and minerals especially formulated for women. Just check out the local health food store. There is a full shelf, at least, of protein shakes.
