I used to weigh myself every day, now I do it every few days or once a week. Measurements are much more "accurate" though because your weight on the scale is such an arbitrary number, it doesn't take into account how much
lean body mass you have, if you're retaining water or dehydrated, etc. I wouldn't care if I still weighed 200 lbs. if it meant I could be muscley and fit and a size 8!!

If I were you I'd skip the scale altogether and just continue to weigh yourself once in a while at your parents, then you won't go crazy watching the fluctuations every day...
